1 ( 91-1) ^^Псалом. Песнь на день субботний.^^ (91-2) Благо есть славить Господа и петь имени Твоему, Всевышний,

It is good to give thanks unto Jehovah, and to sing psalms unto thy name, O Most High;

2 ( 91-3) возвещать утром милость Твою и истину Твою в ночи,

To declare thy loving-kindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness in the nights,

3 ( 91-4) на десятиструнном и псалтири, с песнью на гуслях.

Upon an instrument of ten strings and upon the lute; upon the Higgaion with the harp.

4 ( 91-5) Ибо Ты возвеселил меня, Господи, творением Твоим: я восхищаюсь делами рук Твоих.

For thou, Jehovah, hast made me glad through thy work; I will triumph in the works of thy hands.

5 ( 91-6) Как велики дела Твои, Господи! дивно глубоки помышления Твои!

Jehovah, how great are thy works! Thy thoughts are very deep:

6 ( 91-7) Человек несмысленный не знает, и невежда не разумеет того.

A brutish man knoweth not, neither doth a fool understand it.

7 ( 91-8) Тогда как нечестивые возникают, как трава, и делающие беззаконие цветут, чтобы исчезнуть на веки, --

When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity flourish, it is that they may be destroyed for ever.

8 ( 91-9) Ты, Господи, высок во веки!

And thou, Jehovah, art on high for evermore.

9 ( 91-10) Ибо вот, враги Твои, Господи, --вот, враги Твои гибнут, и рассыпаются все делающие беззаконие;

For lo, thine enemies, O Jehovah, for lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.

10 ( 91-11) а мой рог Ты возносишь, как рог единорога, и я умащен свежим елеем;

But my horn shalt thou exalt like a buffalo's: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

11 ( 91-12) и око мое смотрит на врагов моих, и уши мои слышат о восстающих на меня злодеях.

And mine eye shall see on mine enemies; mine ears shall hear of the evil-doers that rise up against me.

12 ( 91-13) Праведник цветет, как пальма, возвышается подобно кедру на Ливане.

The righteous shall shoot forth like a palm-tree; he shall grow like a cedar on Lebanon.

13 ( 91-14) Насажденные в доме Господнем, они цветут во дворах Бога нашего;

Those that are planted in the house of Jehovah shall flourish in the courts of our God:

14 ( 91-15) они и в старости плодовиты, сочны и свежи,

They are still vigorous in old age, they are full of sap and green;

15 ( 91-16) чтобы возвещать, что праведен Господь, твердыня моя, и нет неправды в Нем.

To shew that Jehovah is upright: my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
