1 N ow it came about on the eighth day that Moses called Aaron and his sons and the elders of Israel;

Al octavo día, Moisés llamó a Aarón, a sus hijos y a los ancianos de Israel,

2 a nd he said to Aaron, “ Take for yourself a calf, a bull, for a sin offering and a ram for a burnt offering, both without defect, and offer them before the Lord.

y dijo a Aarón: «Toma de la vacada un becerro para la expiación y un carnero para el holocausto, ambos sin defecto, y ofrécelos delante de Jehová.

3 T hen to the sons of Israel you shall speak, saying, ‘Take a male goat for a sin offering, and a calf and a lamb, both one year old, without defect, for a burnt offering,

Luego hablarás a los hijos de Israel y les dirás: “Tomad un macho cabrío para la expiación, y un becerro y un cordero de un año, ambos sin defecto, para el holocausto.

4 a nd an ox and a ram for peace offerings, to sacrifice before the Lord, and a grain offering mixed with oil; for today the Lord will appear to you.’”

Asimismo un buey y un carnero para el sacrificio de paz, los cuales inmolaréis delante de Jehová, y una ofrenda amasada con aceite, porque Jehová se manifestará hoy a vosotros.”»

5 S o they took what Moses had commanded to the front of the tent of meeting, and the whole congregation came near and stood before the Lord.

Ellos llevaron delante del Tabernáculo de reunión lo que mandó Moisés; vino toda la congregación y se puso delante de Jehová.

6 M oses said, “This is the thing which the Lord has commanded you to do, that the glory of the Lord may appear to you.”

Entonces Moisés dijo: «Esto es lo que mandó Jehová; hacedlo, y la gloria de Jehová se os manifestará.»

7 M oses then said to Aaron, “Come near to the altar and offer your sin offering and your burnt offering, that you may make atonement for yourself and for the people; then make the offering for the people, that you may make atonement for them, just as the Lord has commanded.”

Después dijo Moisés a Aarón: «Acércate al altar, ofrece tu sacrificio de expiación y tu holocausto, y haz la reconciliación por ti y por el pueblo; presenta también la ofrenda del pueblo, y haz la reconciliación por ellos, como ha mandado Jehová.»

8 S o Aaron came near to the altar and slaughtered the calf of the sin offering which was for himself.

Entonces se acercó Aarón al altar y degolló el becerro de su sacrificio de expiación.

9 A aron’s sons presented the blood to him; and he dipped his finger in the blood and put some on the horns of the altar, and poured out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar.

Los hijos de Aarón le trajeron la sangre, y él, mojando su dedo en la sangre, untó con ella los cuernos del altar y derramó el resto de la sangre al pie del altar.

10 T he fat and the kidneys and the lobe of the liver of the sin offering, he then offered up in smoke on the altar just as the Lord had commanded Moses.

Luego hizo arder sobre el altar la grasa, los riñones y la grasa del hígado de la víctima de la expiación, como Jehová lo había mandado a Moisés.

11 T he flesh and the skin, however, he burned with fire outside the camp.

Pero la carne y la piel las quemó al fuego fuera del campamento.

12 T hen he slaughtered the burnt offering; and Aaron’s sons handed the blood to him and he sprinkled it around on the altar.

Degolló asimismo el holocausto, y los hijos de Aarón le presentaron la sangre, la cual él roció en el altar, por todos sus lados.

13 T hey handed the burnt offering to him in pieces, with the head, and he offered them up in smoke on the altar.

Después le presentaron el holocausto pieza por pieza, junto con la cabeza, y lo hizo quemar todo sobre el altar.

14 H e also washed the entrails and the legs, and offered them up in smoke with the burnt offering on the altar.

Luego de haber lavado los intestinos y las piernas, los quemó en el altar sobre el holocausto.

15 T hen he presented the people’s offering, and took the goat of the sin offering which was for the people, and slaughtered it and offered it for sin, like the first.

Presentó también la ofrenda del pueblo: Tomó el macho cabrío que era para la expiación del pueblo, lo degolló y lo ofreció por el pecado, como el primero.

16 H e also presented the burnt offering, and offered it according to the ordinance.

Ofreció el holocausto, y lo hizo según el rito.

17 N ext he presented the grain offering, and filled his hand with some of it and offered it up in smoke on the altar, besides the burnt offering of the morning.

Presentó asimismo la oblación, de la que tomó un puñado y la hizo quemar sobre el altar, además del holocausto de la mañana.

18 T hen he slaughtered the ox and the ram, the sacrifice of peace offerings which was for the people; and Aaron’s sons handed the blood to him and he sprinkled it around on the altar.

Degolló también el buey y el carnero en sacrificio de paz por el pueblo. Los hijos de Aarón le presentaron la sangre, la cual él roció en el altar, por todos sus lados.

19 A s for the portions of fat from the ox and from the ram, the fat tail, and the fat covering, and the kidneys and the lobe of the liver,

También le presentaron las grasas del buey y del carnero, la cola, la grasa que cubre los intestinos, los riñones y la grasa del hígado,

20 t hey now placed the portions of fat on the breasts; and he offered them up in smoke on the altar.

y pusieron las grasas sobre los pechos. Entonces quemó las grasas sobre el altar,

21 B ut the breasts and the right thigh Aaron presented as a wave offering before the Lord, just as Moses had commanded.

pero los pechos, junto con la pierna derecha, los meció Aarón, como ofrenda mecida delante de Jehová, tal como Jehová lo había mandado a Moisés.

22 T hen Aaron lifted up his hands toward the people and blessed them, and he stepped down after making the sin offering and the burnt offering and the peace offerings.

Aarón alzó sus manos hacia el pueblo, y lo bendijo; y después de hacer la expiación, el holocausto y el sacrificio de paz, descendió.

23 M oses and Aaron went into the tent of meeting. When they came out and blessed the people, the glory of the Lord appeared to all the people.

Luego entraron Moisés y Aarón en el Tabernáculo de reunión. Cuando salieron, bendijeron al pueblo, y la gloria de Jehová se manifestó a todo el pueblo.

24 T hen fire came out from before the Lord and consumed the burnt offering and the portions of fat on the altar; and when all the people saw it, they shouted and fell on their faces.

Salió fuego de la presencia de Jehová y consumió el holocausto con las grasas que estaban sobre el altar. Al ver esto, todos los del pueblo alabaron y se postraron sobre sus rostros.
