1 P raise the Lord! Sing to the Lord a new song, And His praise in the congregation of the godly ones.

Cantad a Jehová un cántico nuevo; su alabanza sea en la congregación de los santos.

2 L et Israel be glad in his Maker; Let the sons of Zion rejoice in their King.

Alégrese Israel en su Hacedor; los hijos de Sión se gocen en su Rey.

3 L et them praise His name with dancing; Let them sing praises to Him with timbrel and lyre.

Alaben su nombre con danza; con pandero y arpa a él canten,

4 F or the Lord takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the afflicted ones with salvation.

porque Jehová tiene contentamiento en su pueblo; hermoseará a los humildes con la salvación.

5 L et the godly ones exult in glory; Let them sing for joy on their beds.

Regocíjense los santos por su gloria y canten aun sobre sus camas.

6 L et the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand,

Exalten a Dios con sus gargantas y con espadas de dos filos en sus manos,

7 T o execute vengeance on the nations And punishment on the peoples,

para ejecutar venganza entre las naciones, castigo entre los pueblos;

8 T o bind their kings with chains And their nobles with fetters of iron,

para aprisionar a sus reyes con grillos y a sus nobles con cadenas de hierro;

9 T o execute on them the judgment written; This is an honor for all His godly ones. Praise the Lord!

para ejecutar en ellos el juicio decretado. Gloria será esto para todos sus santos. ¡Aleluya!
