1 D e David. Je te célèbre de tout mon coeur, Je chante tes louanges en la présence de Dieu.

I will give thee thanks with my whole heart; before the gods will I sing psalms of thee.

2 J e me prosterne dans ton saint temple, Et je célèbre ton nom, à cause de ta bonté et de ta fidélité, Car ta renommée s'est accrue par l'accomplissement de tes promesses.

I will bow down toward the temple of thy holiness, and celebrate thy name for thy loving-kindness and for thy truth; for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

3 L e jour où je t'ai invoqué, tu m'as exaucé, Tu m'as rassuré, tu as fortifié mon âme.

In the day when I called thou answeredst me; thou didst encourage me with strength in my soul.

4 T ous les rois de la terre te loueront, ô Éternel! En entendant les paroles de ta bouche;

All the kings of the earth shall celebrate thee, Jehovah, when they have heard the words of thy mouth;

5 I ls célébreront les voies de l'Éternel, Car la gloire de l'Éternel est grande.

And they shall sing in the ways of Jehovah, for great is the glory of Jehovah.

6 L 'Éternel est élevé: il voit les humbles, Et il reconnaît de loin les orgueilleux.

For Jehovah is high; but he looketh upon the lowly, and the proud he knoweth afar off.

7 Q uand je marche au milieu de la détresse, tu me rends la vie, Tu étends ta main sur la colère de mes ennemis, Et ta droite me sauve.

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou wilt stretch forth thy hand against the anger of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.

8 L 'Éternel agira en ma faveur. Éternel, ta bonté dure toujours, N'abandonne pas les oeuvres de tes mains!

Jehovah will perfect what concerneth me: thy loving-kindness, O Jehovah, for ever; forsake not the works of thine own hands.
