1 T hen the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

Habló Jehová a Moisés, diciendo:

2 “ Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, ‘If a person sins unintentionally in any of the things which the Lord has commanded not to be done, and commits any of them,

Habla a los hijos de Israel y diles: Cuando alguna persona pecare por yerro en alguno de los mandamientos de Jehová sobre cosas que no se han de hacer, e hiciere alguna de ellas;

3 i f the anointed priest sins so as to bring guilt on the people, then let him offer to the Lord a bull without defect as a sin offering for the sin he has committed.

si el sacerdote ungido pecare según el pecado del pueblo, ofrecerá a Jehová, por su pecado que habrá cometido, un becerro sin defecto para expiación.

4 H e shall bring the bull to the doorway of the tent of meeting before the Lord, and he shall lay his hand on the head of the bull and slay the bull before the Lord.

Traerá el becerro a la puerta del tabernáculo de reunión delante de Jehová, y pondrá su mano sobre la cabeza del becerro, y lo degollará delante de Jehová.

5 T hen the anointed priest is to take some of the blood of the bull and bring it to the tent of meeting,

Y el sacerdote ungido tomará de la sangre del becerro, y la traerá al tabernáculo de reunión;

6 a nd the priest shall dip his finger in the blood and sprinkle some of the blood seven times before the Lord, in front of the veil of the sanctuary.

y mojará el sacerdote su dedo en la sangre, y rociará de aquella sangre siete veces delante de Jehová, hacia el velo del santuario.

7 T he priest shall also put some of the blood on the horns of the altar of fragrant incense which is before the Lord in the tent of meeting; and all the blood of the bull he shall pour out at the base of the altar of burnt offering which is at the doorway of the tent of meeting.

Y el sacerdote pondrá de esa sangre sobre los cuernos del altar del incienso aromático, que está en el tabernáculo de reunión delante de Jehová; y echará el resto de la sangre del becerro al pie del altar del holocausto, que está a la puerta del tabernáculo de reunión.

8 H e shall remove from it all the fat of the bull of the sin offering: the fat that covers the entrails, and all the fat which is on the entrails,

Y tomará del becerro para la expiación toda su grosura, la que cubre los intestinos, y la que está sobre las entrañas,

9 a nd the two kidneys with the fat that is on them, which is on the loins, and the lobe of the liver, which he shall remove with the kidneys

los dos riñones, la grosura que está sobre ellos, y la que está sobre los ijares; y con los riñones quitará la grosura de sobre el hígado,

10 ( just as it is removed from the ox of the sacrifice of peace offerings), and the priest is to offer them up in smoke on the altar of burnt offering.

de la manera que se quita del buey del sacrificio de paz; y el sacerdote la hará arder sobre el altar del holocausto.

11 B ut the hide of the bull and all its flesh with its head and its legs and its entrails and its refuse,

Y la piel del becerro, y toda su carne, con su cabeza, sus piernas, sus intestinos y su estiércol,

12 t hat is, all the rest of the bull, he is to bring out to a clean place outside the camp where the ashes are poured out, and burn it on wood with fire; where the ashes are poured out it shall be burned.

en fin, todo el becerro sacará fuera del campamento a un lugar limpio, donde se echan las cenizas, y lo quemará al fuego sobre la leña; en donde se echan las cenizas será quemado.

13 ‘ Now if the whole congregation of Israel commits error and the matter escapes the notice of the assembly, and they commit any of the things which the Lord has commanded not to be done, and they become guilty;

Si toda la congregación de Israel hubiere errado, y el yerro estuviere oculto a los ojos del pueblo, y hubieren hecho algo contra alguno de los mandamientos de Jehová en cosas que no se han de hacer, y fueren culpables;

14 w hen the sin which they have committed becomes known, then the assembly shall offer a bull of the herd for a sin offering and bring it before the tent of meeting.

luego que llegue a ser conocido el pecado que cometieren, la congregación ofrecerá un becerro por expiación, y lo traerán delante del tabernáculo de reunión.

15 T hen the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands on the head of the bull before the Lord, and the bull shall be slain before the Lord.

Y los ancianos de la congregación pondrán sus manos sobre la cabeza del becerro delante de Jehová, y en presencia de Jehová degollarán aquel becerro.

16 T hen the anointed priest is to bring some of the blood of the bull to the tent of meeting;

Y el sacerdote ungido meterá de la sangre del becerro en el tabernáculo de reunión,

17 a nd the priest shall dip his finger in the blood and sprinkle it seven times before the Lord, in front of the veil.

y mojará el sacerdote su dedo en la misma sangre, y rociará siete veces delante de Jehová hacia el velo.

18 H e shall put some of the blood on the horns of the altar which is before the Lord in the tent of meeting; and all the blood he shall pour out at the base of the altar of burnt offering which is at the doorway of the tent of meeting.

Y de aquella sangre pondrá sobre los cuernos del altar que está delante de Jehová en el tabernáculo de reunión, y derramará el resto de la sangre al pie del altar del holocausto, que está a la puerta del tabernáculo de reunión.

19 H e shall remove all its fat from it and offer it up in smoke on the altar.

Y le quitará toda la grosura y la hará arder sobre el altar.

20 H e shall also do with the bull just as he did with the bull of the sin offering; thus he shall do with it. So the priest shall make atonement for them, and they will be forgiven.

Y hará de aquel becerro como hizo con el becerro de la expiación; lo mismo hará de él; así hará el sacerdote expiación por ellos, y obtendrán perdón.

21 T hen he is to bring out the bull to a place outside the camp and burn it as he burned the first bull; it is the sin offering for the assembly.

Y sacará el becerro fuera del campamento, y lo quemará como quemó el primer becerro; expiación es por la congregación.

22 ‘ When a leader sins and unintentionally does any one of all the things which the Lord his God has commanded not to be done, and he becomes guilty,

Cuando pecare un jefe, e hiciere por yerro algo contra alguno de todos los mandamientos de Jehová su Dios sobre cosas que no se han de hacer, y pecare;

23 i f his sin which he has committed is made known to him, he shall bring for his offering a goat, a male without defect.

luego que conociere su pecado que cometió, presentará por su ofrenda un macho cabrío sin defecto.

24 H e shall lay his hand on the head of the male goat and slay it in the place where they slay the burnt offering before the Lord; it is a sin offering.

Y pondrá su mano sobre la cabeza del macho cabrío, y lo degollará en el lugar donde se deg: uella el holocausto, delante de Jehová; es expiación.

25 T hen the priest is to take some of the blood of the sin offering with his finger and put it on the horns of the altar of burnt offering; and the rest of its blood he shall pour out at the base of the altar of burnt offering.

Y con su dedo el sacerdote tomará de la sangre de la expiación, y la pondrá sobre los cuernos del altar del holocausto, y derramará el resto de la sangre al pie del altar del holocausto,

26 A ll its fat he shall offer up in smoke on the altar as in the case of the fat of the sacrifice of peace offerings. Thus the priest shall make atonement for him in regard to his sin, and he will be forgiven.

y quemará toda su grosura sobre el altar, como la grosura del sacrificio de paz; así el sacerdote hará por él la expiación de su pecado, y tendrá perdón.

27 ‘ Now if anyone of the common people sins unintentionally in doing any of the things which the Lord has commanded not to be done, and becomes guilty,

Si alguna persona del pueblo pecare por yerro, haciendo algo contra alguno de los mandamientos de Jehová en cosas que no se han de hacer, y delinquiere;

28 i f his sin which he has committed is made known to him, then he shall bring for his offering a goat, a female without defect, for his sin which he has committed.

luego que conociere su pecado que cometió, traerá por su ofrenda una cabra, una cabra sin defecto, por su pecado que cometió.

29 H e shall lay his hand on the head of the sin offering and slay the sin offering at the place of the burnt offering.

Y pondrá su mano sobre la cabeza de la ofrenda de la expiación, y la degollará en el lugar del holocausto.

30 T he priest shall take some of its blood with his finger and put it on the horns of the altar of burnt offering; and all the rest of its blood he shall pour out at the base of the altar.

Luego con su dedo el sacerdote tomará de la sangre, y la pondrá sobre los cuernos del altar del holocausto, y derramará el resto de la sangre al pie del altar.

31 T hen he shall remove all its fat, just as the fat was removed from the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest shall offer it up in smoke on the altar for a soothing aroma to the Lord. Thus the priest shall make atonement for him, and he will be forgiven.

Y le quitará toda su grosura, de la manera que fue quitada la grosura del sacrificio de paz; y el sacerdote la hará arder sobre el altar en olor grato a Jehová; así hará el sacerdote expiación por él, y será perdonado.

32 ‘ But if he brings a lamb as his offering for a sin offering, he shall bring it, a female without defect.

Y si por su ofrenda por el pecado trajere cordero, hembra sin defecto traerá.

33 H e shall lay his hand on the head of the sin offering and slay it for a sin offering in the place where they slay the burnt offering.

Y pondrá su mano sobre la cabeza de la ofrenda de expiación, y la degollará por expiación en el lugar donde se deg: uella el holocausto.

34 T he priest is to take some of the blood of the sin offering with his finger and put it on the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and all the rest of its blood he shall pour out at the base of the altar.

Después con su dedo el sacerdote tomará de la sangre de la expiación, y la pondrá sobre los cuernos del altar del holocausto, y derramará el resto de la sangre al pie del altar.

35 T hen he shall remove all its fat, just as the fat of the lamb is removed from the sacrifice of the peace offerings, and the priest shall offer them up in smoke on the altar, on the offerings by fire to the Lord. Thus the priest shall make atonement for him in regard to his sin which he has committed, and he will be forgiven.

Y le quitará toda su grosura, como fue quitada la grosura del sacrificio de paz, y el sacerdote la hará arder en el altar sobre la ofrenda encendida a Jehová; y le hará el sacerdote expiación de su pecado que habrá cometido, y será perdonado.
