1 A nd Jehovah said to Aaron, Thou and thy sons and thy father's house with thee shall bear the iniquity of the sanctuary; and thou and thy sons with thee shall bear the iniquity of your priesthood.

Domnul a zis lui Aaron:,, Tu şi fiii tăi, şi casa tatălui tău cu tine, să purtaţi pedeapsa fărădelegilor făcute în sfîntul locaş; tu şi fiii tăi împreună cu tine, să purtaţi pedeapsa fărădelegilor făcute în împlinirea slujbei voastre preoţeşti.

2 A nd thy brethren also, the tribe of Levi, the tribe of thy father, bring near with thee, that they may unite with thee, and minister unto thee; but thou and thy sons with thee before the tent of the testimony.

Apropie de asemenea de tine, pe fraţii tăi, seminţia lui Levi, seminţia tatălui tău, ca să fie legaţi de tine şi să-ţi slujească, atunci cînd tu, şi fiii tăi împreună cu tine, veţi fi înaintea cortului întîlnirii.

3 A nd they shall keep thy charge, and the charge of the whole tent: only they shall not come near to the vessels of the sanctuary and to the altar, that they may not die, and you as well as they.

Ei să păzească ce le vei porunci tu şi cele privitoare la tot cortul; dar să nu se apropie nici de uneltele sfîntului locaş, nici de altar, ca să nu muriţi, şi ei şi voi.

4 A nd they shall unite with thee, and keep the charge of the tent of meeting, for all the service of the tent; and no stranger shall come near to you.

Ei să se alipească de tine, şi să păzească tot ce priveşte cortul întîlnirii pentru toată slujba cortului. Niciun străin să nu se apropie de voi.

5 A nd ye shall keep the charge of the sanctuary, and the charge of the altar; that there come no wrath any more upon the children of Israel.

Să păziţi cele privitoare la sfîntul locaş şi altar, ca să nu mai fie mînie împotriva copiilor lui Israel.

6 A nd I, behold, I have taken your brethren, the Levites, from among the children of Israel; to you are they given as a gift for Jehovah to perform the service of the tent of meeting.

Iată că am luat pe fraţii voştri Leviţii, din mijlocul copiilor lui Israel, ca unii cari sunt daţi Domnului: ei vă sînt încredinţaţi vouă în dar, ca să facă slujba cortului întîlnirii.

7 B ut thou and thy sons with thee shall attend to your priesthood for all that concerneth the altar, and for that which is inside the veil; and ye shall perform the service: I give you your priesthood as a service of gift, and the stranger that cometh near shall be put to death.

Tu, şi fiii tăi, împreună cu tine, să păziţi slujbele preoţiei voastre în tot ce priveşte altarul şi tot ce este dincolo de perdeaua din lăuntru: aceasta este slujba pe care o veţi face. Vă dau în dar slujba preoţiei. Străinul care se va apropia, va fi omorît.``

8 A nd Jehovah spoke to Aaron, And I, behold, I have given thee the charge of my heave-offerings, of all the hallowed things of the children of Israel; to thee have I given them, because of the anointing, and to thy sons by an everlasting statute.

Domnul a zis lui Aaron:,, Iată, din toate lucrurile pe cari Mi le închină copiii lui Israel, îţi dau pe cele cari Îmi sînt aduse prin ridicare; ţi le dau, ţie şi fiilor tăi, ca drept al ungerii, printr'o lege vecinică.

9 T his shall be thine of the most holy things, from the fire: every offering of theirs, of all their oblations, and of all their sin-offerings, and of all their trespass-offerings, which they render unto me, it is most holy for thee and for thy sons.

Iată ce va fi al tău dintre lucrurile prea sfinte cari nu sînt mistuite de foc: toate darurile din jertfele lor de mîncare, toate jertfele lor de ispăşire, şi toate jertfele pentru vină, pe cari Mi le vor aduce; lucrurile acestea prea sfinte să fie ale tale şi ale fiilor tăi.

10 A s most holy shalt thou eat it: every male shall eat it; it shall be holy unto thee.

Să le mîncaţi într'un loc prea sfînt; orice bărbat să mănînce din ele; să le priviţi ca sfinte.

11 A nd this shall be thine: the heave-offering of their gift, with all the wave-offerings of the children of Israel; I have given them unto thee, and to thy sons and to thy daughters with thee, by an everlasting statute; every one that is clean in thy house shall eat of it.

Iată ce va mai fi al tău: toate darurile pe cari le vor aduce copiii lui Israel prin ridicare şi legănîndu-le într'o parte şi în alta, ţi le dau ţie, fiilor tăi şi fiicelor tale împreună cu tine, printr'o lege vecinică. Oricine va fi curat în casa ta să mănînce din ele.

12 A ll the best of the oil, and all the best of the new wine, and of the wheat, the firstfruits of them which they give to Jehovah, have I given thee.

Îţi dau cele dintîi roade pe cari le vor aduce Domnului: tot ce va fi mai bun din untdelemn, tot ce va fi mai bun din must şi grîu.

13 T he first ripe of everything that is in their land, which they shall bring to Jehovah, shall be thine; every one that is clean in thy house shall eat of it.

Cele dintîi roade ale pămîntului lor, pe cari le vor aduce Domnului, să fie ale tale. Oricine va fi curat în casa ta să mănînce din ele.

14 E very devoted thing in Israel shall be thine.

Tot ce va fi închinat Domnului prin făgăduinţă în Israel, să fie al tău.

15 E verything that breaketh open the womb of all flesh, which they present to Jehovah, of men or of beasts, shall be thine; nevertheless the firstborn of man shalt thou in any case ransom, and the firstborn of unclean beasts shalt thou ransom.

Orice întîi născut din orice trup, pe care -l vor aduce Domnului, atît din oameni cît şi din dobitoace, să fie al tău. Numai, să laşi să se răscumpere întîiul născut al omului, şi să laşi să se răscumpere şi întîiul născut al unui dobitoc necurat.

16 A nd those that are to be ransomed from a month old shalt thou ransom, according to thy valuation, for the money of five shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, which is twenty gerahs.

Să laşi să se răscumpere întăii născuţi ai oamenilor, dela vîrsta de o lună, după preţuirea ta, cu preţul de cinci sicli de argint, după siclul sfîntului locaş, care este de douăzeci de ghere.

17 B ut the firstborn of a cow, or the firstborn of a sheep, or the firstborn of a goat, thou shalt not ransom: they are holy. Thou shalt sprinkle their blood on the altar, and their fat shalt thou burn as an offering by fire for a sweet odour to Jehovah.

Dar să nu laşi să se răscumpere întîiul născut al vacii, nici întîiul născut al oii, nici întîiul născut al caprei: acestea sînt lucruri sfinte. Sîngele lor să -l stropeşti pe altar, şi să le arzi grăsimea: aceasta va fi o jertfă mistuită de foc, de un miros plăcut Domnului.

18 A nd their flesh shall be thine; as the wave-breast and as the right shoulder shall it be thine.

Carnea lor să fie a ta, ca şi pieptul care se leagănă într'o parte şi în alta şi ca şi spata dreaptă.

19 A ll the heave-offerings of the holy things, which the children of Israel offer to Jehovah, have I given thee, and to thy sons and to thy daughters with thee, by an everlasting statute: it shall be an everlasting covenant of salt before Jehovah unto thee and thy seed with thee.

Îţi dau ţie, fiilor tăi şi fiicelor tale împreună cu tine, printr'o lege vecinică, toate darurile sfinte pe cari le vor aduce Domnului copiii lui Israel prin ridicare. Acesta este un legămînt de necălcat şi pe vecie înaintea Domnului, pentru tine şi pentru sămînţa ta împreună cu tine.``

20 A nd Jehovah said to Aaron, In their land thou shalt have no inheritance, neither shalt thou have any portion among them: I am thy portion and thine inheritance among the children of Israel.

Domnul a zis lui Aaron:,, Tu să n'ai nici o moştenire în ţara lor, şi să n'ai nici o parte de moşie în mijlocul lor. Eu sînt moştenirea şi partea ta de moşie, în mijlocul copiilor lui Israel.

21 A nd to the children of Levi, behold, I have given all the tithes in Israel for an inheritance, for their service which they perform, the service of the tent of meeting.

Fiilor lui Levi le dau ca moştenire orice zeciuială în Israel, pentru slujba pe care o fac ei, pentru slujba cortului întîlnirii.

22 N either shall the children of Israel henceforth come near the tent of meeting, to bear sin and die.

Copiii lui Israel să nu se mai apropie de cortul întîlnirii, ca să nu se facă vinovaţi de vreun păcat şi să moară.

23 B ut the Levite, he shall perform the service of the tent of meeting, and they shall bear their iniquity: it is an everlasting statute throughout your generations. And among the children of Israel shall they possess no inheritance;

Ci Leviţii să facă slujba cortului întîlnirii, şi să rămînă încărcaţi cu fărădelegile lor. Ei să n'aibă nici o moştenire în mijlocul copiilor lui Israel: aceasta să fie o lege vecinică printre urmaşii voştri.

24 f or I have given for an inheritance to the Levites the tithes of the children of Israel, which they offer as a heave-offering to Jehovah; therefore I have said of them, They shall possess no inheritance among the children of Israel.

Leviţilor le dau de moştenire zeciuelile pe cari le vor aduce copiii lui Israel Domnului prin ridicare; de aceea zic cu privire la ei:,, Să n'aibă nici o moştenire în mijlocul copiilor lui Israel.``

25 A nd Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

Domnul a vorbit lui Moise, şi a zis:

26 A nd to the Levites shalt thou speak, and say unto them, When ye take of the children of Israel the tithes which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then ye shall offer a heave-offering from it for Jehovah, the tenth of the tithe.

Să vorbeşti Leviţilor, şi să le spui:, Cînd veţi primi de la copiii lui Israel zeciuiala pe care v'o dau din partea lor, ca moştenire a voastră, să luaţi întîi din ea un dar pentru Domnul, şi anume: a zecea parte din zeciuială;

27 A nd your heave-offering shall be reckoned unto you, as the corn from the threshing-floor, and as the fulness of the winepress.

şi darul vostru vi se va socoti ca grîul care se ia întîi din arie şi ca mustul care se ia întîi din teasc.

28 T hus ye also shall offer Jehovah's heave-offering of all your tithes, which ye take of the children of Israel; and ye shall give thereof Jehovah's heave-offering to Aaron the priest.

Astfel să luaţi şi voi întîi un dar pentru Domnul, din toate zeciuielile pe cari le veţi primi de la copiii lui Israel, şi să daţi preotului Aaron darul pe care -l veţi lua întîi din ele pentru Domnul.

29 O ut of all that is given you ye shall offer the whole heave-offering of Jehovah,—of all the best thereof the hallowed part thereof.

Din toate darurile cari vi se vor da, să luaţi întîi toate darurile pentru Domnul; din tot ce va fi mai bun, să luaţi întîi partea închinată Domnului.

30 A nd thou shalt say unto them, When ye heave the best thereof from it, then it shall be counted unto the Levites as produce of the threshing-floor, and as produce of the winepress.

Să le spui:, După ce veţi lua din ele partea cea mai bună, zeciuiala va fi socotită Leviţilor ca venitul de la arie şi ca venitul de la teasc.

31 A nd ye shall eat it in every place, ye and your households; for it is your reward for your service in the tent of meeting.

Să -l mîncaţi într'un loc oarecare, voi şi casa voastră; căci aceasta este plata voastră pentru slujba pe care o faceţi în cortul întîlnirii.

32 A nd ye shall bear no sin by reason of it, if ye heave from it the best of it; and ye shall not profane the holy things of the children of Israel, lest ye die.

Nu vă veţi face vinovaţi pentru aceasta de niciun păcat, dacă veţi lua din ele pentru Domnul ce este mai bun, nici nu veţi pîngări darurile sfinte ale copiilor lui Israel, şi nu veţi muri.``
