1 A nd the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

El Señor habló además a Moisés diciendo:

2 S ee, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah:

“Mira, he llamado por nombre a Bezalel, hijo de Uri, hijo de Hur, de la tribu de Judá.

3 a nd I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,

Y lo he llenado del Espíritu de Dios en sabiduría, en inteligencia, en conocimiento y en toda clase de arte,

4 t o devise cunning works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,

para elaborar diseños, para trabajar en oro, en plata y en bronce,

5 a nd in cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of timber, to work in all manner of workmanship.

y en el labrado de piedras para engaste, y en el tallado de madera, a fin de que trabaje en toda clase de labor.

6 A nd I, behold, I have given with him Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan: and in the hearts of all that are wise hearted I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded thee;

“Mira, Yo mismo he nombrado con él a Aholiab, hijo de Ahisamac, de la tribu de Dan. En el corazón de todos los que son hábiles he puesto habilidad a fin de que hagan todo lo que te he mandado:

7 t he tabernacle of the congregation, and the ark of the testimony, and the mercy seat that is thereupon, and all the furniture of the tabernacle,

la tienda de reunión, el arca del testimonio, el propiciatorio sobre ella y todo el mobiliario del tabernáculo;

8 a nd the table and his furniture, and the pure candlestick with all his furniture, and the altar of incense,

también la mesa y sus utensilios, el candelabro de oro puro con todos sus utensilios y el altar del incienso;

9 a nd the altar of burnt offering with all his furniture, and the laver and his foot,

el altar del holocausto también con todos sus utensilios y la pila con su base;

10 a nd the cloths of service, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest’s office,

asimismo las vestiduras tejidas, las vestiduras sagradas para el sacerdote Aarón y las vestiduras de sus hijos, para ministrar como sacerdotes;

11 a nd the anointing oil, and sweet incense for the holy place: according to all that I have commanded thee shall they do.

también el aceite de la unción, y el incienso aromático para el lugar santo. Los harán conforme a todo lo que te he mandado.” El Día de Reposo

12 A nd the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

El Señor habló a Moisés y le dijo:

13 S peak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the Lord that doth sanctify you.

“Habla, pues, tú a los Israelitas y diles: ‘De cierto guardarán Mis días de reposo, porque esto es una señal entre Yo y ustedes por todas sus generaciones, a fin de que sepan que Yo soy el Señor que los santifico.

14 Y e shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

Por tanto, han de guardar el día de reposo porque es santo para ustedes. Todo el que lo profane ciertamente morirá. Porque cualquiera que haga obra alguna en él, esa persona será cortada de entre su pueblo.

15 S ix days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the Lord: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.

Durante seis días se trabajará, pero el séptimo día será día de completo reposo, santo al Señor. Cualquiera que haga obra alguna en el día de reposo ciertamente morirá.

16 W herefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.

Los Israelitas guardarán, pues, el día de reposo, celebrándolo por todas sus generaciones como pacto perpetuo.’

17 I t is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.

Es una señal entre Yo y los Israelitas para siempre. Pues en seis días el Señor hizo los cielos y la tierra, y en el séptimo día cesó de trabajar y reposó.” Las Tablas del Testimonio

18 A nd he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.

Cuando el Señor terminó de hablar con Moisés sobre el Monte Sinaí, le dio las dos tablas del testimonio, tablas de piedra, escritas por el dedo de Dios.
