1 I will praise You with my whole heart; Before the gods I will sing praises to You.

(Un psalm al lui David.) Te laud din toată inima, cînt laudele Tale înaintea dumnezeilor.

2 I will worship toward Your holy temple, And praise Your name For Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word above all Your name.

Mă închin în Templul Tău cel sfînt, şi laud Numele Tău, pentru bunătatea şi credincioşia Ta, căci Ţi s'a mărit faima prin împlinirea făgăduinţelor Tale.

3 I n the day when I cried out, You answered me, And made me bold with strength in my soul.

În ziua cînd Te-am chemat, m'ai ascultat, m'ai îmbărbătat şi mi-ai întărit sufletul.

4 A ll the kings of the earth shall praise You, O Lord, When they hear the words of Your mouth.

Toţi împăraţii pămîntului Te vor lăuda, Doamne, cînd vor auzi cuvintele gurii Tale;

5 Y es, they shall sing of the ways of the Lord, For great is the glory of the Lord.

ei vor lăuda căile Domnului, căci mare este slava Domnului!

6 T hough the Lord is on high, Yet He regards the lowly; But the proud He knows from afar.

Domnul este înălţat: totuş vede pe cei smeriţi, şi cunoaşte de departe pe cei îngîmfaţi.

7 T hough I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand Against the wrath of my enemies, And Your right hand will save me.

Cînd umblu în mijlocul strîmtorării, Tu mă înviorezi, Îţi întinzi mîna spre mînia vrăjmaşilor mei, şi dreapta Ta mă mîntuieşte.

8 T he Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.

Domnul va sfîrşi ce a început pentru mine. Doamne, bunătatea Ta ţine în veci: nu părăsi lucrările mînilor Tale.
