1 A nd Benjamin begot Bela his firstborn, Ashbel the second, and Aharah the third,

أنجَبَ بَنْيامِيْنُ بالَعَ بِكْرَهُ، وَالثّانِي أشْبِيلَ، وَالثّالِثَ أخْرَخَ،

2 N ohah the fourth, and Rapha the fifth.

وَالرّابِعَ نُوحَةَ، وَالخامِسَ رافا.

3 A nd Bela had sons: Addar, and Gera, and Abihud,

وَكانَ لِبالَعَ أبْناءٌ هُمْ أدّارُ وَجِيْرا وَأبِيهُودُ

4 a nd Abishua, and Naaman, and Ahoah,

وَأبِيشُوعُ وَنُعمانُ وَأخُوخُ

5 a nd Gera, and Shephuphan, and Huram.

وَحَيْرا وَشَفُوفانُ وَحُورامُ.

6 — And these are the sons of Ehud (these were the chief fathers of the inhabitants of Geba; and they carried them away to Manahath;

وَهَؤُلاءِ أبْناءُ آحُودَ – وَهُمْ رُؤَساءُ عائِلاتِ بَنْيامِيْنَ السّاكِنِينَ فِي جَبَعَ، وَرُحِّلُوا إلَى مَناحَةَ:

7 e ven Naaman, and Ahijah, and Gera; he removed them), and he begot Uzza and Ahihud.

نُعْمانُ وَأخِيا وَجَيرا. وَجَيرا هُوَ الَّذِي رَحَّلَهُمْ وَهُوَ مُؤسِّسُ مَدينَةِ عُزّا وَأخِيحُودَ.

8 A nd Shaharaim begot in the land of Moab after he had sent away Hushim and Baara his wives.

وَأنجَبَ شَحْرايِمُ أبْناءً فِي بِلادِ مُوآبَ بَعْدَ أنْ طَلَّقَ زَوْجَتَيهِ حُوشِيمَ وَبَعْرا.

9 A nd he begot of Hodesh his wife: Jobab, and Zibia, and Mesha, and Malcham,

وَأنجَبَ مِنْ زَوجَتِهِ خُودَشَ أبْناءً هُمْ: يُوبابُ، وَظِبْيا، وَمِيشا، وَمَلْكامُ،

10 a nd Jeuz, and Shobia, and Mirmah; these were his sons, chief fathers.

وَيَعُوصُ، وَشَبْيا، وَمِرْمَةُ. كانَ أبْناؤُهُ هَؤُلاءِ رُؤَساءَ عائِلاتِهِمْ.

11 A nd of Hushim he begot Abitub, and Elpaal.

وَأنجَبَ مِنْ حُوشِيمَ أبِيطُوبَ وَألفَعَلَ.

12 A nd the sons of Elpaal: Eber, and Misham, and Shemer, who built Ono, and Lod and its dependent villages;

وَأبْناءُ ألْفَعَلَ هُمْ: عابَرُ، وَمِشْعامُ، وَشامِدُ. وَهُوَ الَّذِي بَنَى أُونُو وَلُودَ وَقُراها.

13 a nd Beriah, and Shema, who were chief fathers of the inhabitants of Ajalon; they drove away the inhabitants of Gath.

وَكانَ بَرِيعَةُ وَشَمَعُ رَئِيسَينِ لِعائِلاتِ أيَّلُونَ. وَقَدْ جَعَلُوا سُكّانَ جَتَّ يَهْرُبُونَ.

14 A nd Ahio, Shashak, and Jeremoth,

وَكانَ شاشَقُ وَيَرِيمُوتُ أخَوَيهُمْ.

15 a nd Zebadiah, and Arad, and Eder,

وَكانَ زَبَدْيا وَعَرادُ وَعادَرُ

16 a nd Michael, and Jishpah, and Joha were the sons of Beriah.

وَمِيخائِيلُ وَيِشْفَةُ وَيُوخا أبْناءَ بِرِيعَةَ.

17 A nd Zebadiah, and Meshullam, and Hiski, and Heber,

وَكانَ زَبَدْيا وَمَشُلّامُ وَحَزْقِي وَحابِرُ

18 a nd Jishmerai, and Jizliah, and Jobab were the sons of Elpaal.

وَيَشْمَرايُ وَيَزَلْياهُ وَيُوبابُ أبْناءَ ألْفَعَلَ.

19 A nd Jakim, and Zichri, and Zabdi,

وَكانَ ياقِيمُ وَزِكْرِي وَزَبْدِي،

20 a nd Elienai, and Zilthai, and Eliel,

وَألِيعِيْنايُ وَصِلَّتايُ وَإيلِئِيلُ

21 a nd Adaiah, and Beraiah, and Shimrath were the sons of Shimei.

وَعَدايا وَبَرايا وَشِمْرَةُ أبْناءُ شَمْعَى.

22 A nd Jishpah, and Eber, and Eliel,

وَكانَ يِشْفانُ وَعابِرُ وَإيلِئِيلُ

23 a nd Abdon, and Zichri, and Hanan,

وَعَبْدُونُ وَزِكْرِي وَحانانُ

24 a nd Hananiah, and Elam, and Antothijah,

وَحَنَنْيا وَعِيلامُ وَعَنَثُوثِيا

25 a nd Jiphdeiah, and Penuel were the sons of Shashak.

وَيَفَدْيا وَفَنُوئِيلُ أبْناءَ شاشَقَ.

26 A nd Shamsherai, and Shehariah, and Athaliah,

وَكانَ شِمْشَرايُ وَشَحَرْيا وَعَثَلْيا

27 a nd Jaareshiah, and Elijah, and Zichri were the sons of Jeroham.

وَيَعْرَشْيا وَإيلِيّا وَزِكْرِي أبْناءُ يَرُوحامَ.

28 T hese were the chief fathers, according to their generations, principal men; these dwelt in Jerusalem.

كانَ هَؤُلاءِ رُؤَساءَ عائِلاتٍ، سُجِّلوا زعماءَ في سجلاتِ أنسابِهِمْ، وَعاشُوا فِي القُدْسِ.

29 A nd at Gibeon dwelt the father of Gibeon; and his wife's name was Maachah.

وَسَكَنَ عِيئِيلُ مُؤسِّسُ مَدينَةِ جِبْعُونَ فِي جِبْعُونَ، وَكانَ اسْمُ زَوجَتِهِ مَعْكَةَ.

30 A nd his son, the firstborn, was Abdon; and Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Nadab,

وَابْنُهُ البِكْرُ هُوَ عَبْدُونُ ثُمَّ صُورُ وَقَيْسُ وَبَعلُ وَنِيرُ وَنادابُ

31 a nd Gedor, and Ahio, and Zecher.

وَجَدُورُ وَأخِيُو وَزاكِرُ وَمِقلُوثُ.

32 A nd Mikloth begot Shimeah. And these also dwelt beside their brethren in Jerusalem, with their brethren.

وَأنجَبَ مِقلُوثُ شَماةَ. وَسَكَنُوا هُمْ أيضاً مَعَ أقرِبائِهِمْ فِي القُدْسِ مُقابِلَهُمْ.

33 A nd Ner begot Kish; and Kish begot Saul; and Saul begot Jonathan, and Malchishua, and Abinadab, and Esh-baal.

وَأنجَبَ نِيرٌ قَيْساً. وَأنجَبَ قَيْسٌ شاوُلَ. وَأنجَبَ شاوُلُ يُوناثانَ وَمَلْكِيشُوعَ وَأبِينادابَ وَإشْبَعلَ.

34 A nd the son of Jonathan was Merib-Baal; and Merib-Baal begot Micah.

وَأنجَبَ يُوناثانُ مَرِيبَّعلَ. وَأنجَبَ مَرِيبَّعلُ مِيخا.

35 A nd the sons of Micah: Pithon, and Melech, and Tarea, and Ahaz.

أبْناءُ مِيخا فِيثُونُ وَمالِكُ وَتارِيعُ وَآحازُ.

36 A nd Ahaz begot Jehoaddah; and Jehoaddah begot Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begot Moza;

وَأنجَبَ آحازُ يَهُوعَدَّةَ. وَأنجَبَ يَهُوعَدَّةُ عَلْمَثَ وَعَزمُوتَ وَزِمْرِي. وَأنجَبَ زِمْرِي مُوصا.

37 a nd Moza begot Binea: Rapha was his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.

وَأنجَبَ مُوصا بِنْعَةَ، وَأنجَبَ بِنْعَةُ رافَةَ. وَأنجَبَ رافَةُ ألِعاسَةَ. وَأنجَبَ ألِعاسَةُ آصِيلَ.

38 A nd Azel had six sons, and these are their names: Azrikam, Bochru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan; all these were sons of Azel.

وَأنجَبَ آصِيلُ سِتَّةَ أبْناءٍ هُمْ عَزرِيقامُ وَبُكْرُو وَإسْماعِيلُ وَشَعَرْيا وَعُوبَدْيا وَحانانُ. كُلُّ هَؤُلاءِ هُمْ أبْناءُ آصِيلَ.

39 A nd the sons of Eshek his brother were Ulam his firstborn, Jeush the second, and Eliphelet the third.

أبْناءُ عاشِقَ أخِي آصِيلَ: بِكْرُهُ أُولامُ، وَالثّانِي يَعُوشُ، وَالثّالِثُ ألِيفَلَطُ.

40 A nd the sons of Ulam were mighty men of valour, archers; and they had many sons, and sons' sons, a hundred and fifty. All these were of the sons of Benjamin.

وَكانَ أبْناءُ أُولامَ مُحارِبِينَ شُجعاناً، ماهِرِينَ فِي اسْتِخدامِ القَوْسِ، وَلَهُمْ مِئَةٌ وَخَمْسُونَ ابْناً وَحَفيداً. كانَ هَؤُلاءِ كُلُّهُمْ بَنْيامِيْنِيِّينَ.
