1 B less Jehovah, O my soul; and all that is within me, his holy name!

بارِكِي اللهَ يا نَفسِي، وَيا كُلَّ كَيانِي، بارِكِ اسْمَهُ القُدُّوسَ!

2 B less Jehovah, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

بارِكِي اللهَ يا نَفسِي، وَلا تَغِبْ عَنْ ذاكِرَتِكِ أعمالُ لُطفِهِ وَإحْسانِهِ أبَداً!

3 W ho forgiveth all thine iniquities, who healeth all thy diseases;

فَهُوَ مَنْ يَغفِرُ خَطاياكِ. وَهُوَ مَنْ يَشفِي كُلَّ أمراضِكِ.

4 W ho redeemeth thy life from the pit, who crowneth thee with loving-kindness and tender mercies;

هُوَ الَّذِي يَفدِي حَياتَكِ مِنَ الحُفرَةِ. هُوَ مَنْ يُغَلِّفُكِ بِالمَحَبَّةِ الحَقِيقِيَّةِ وَالرَّأفَةِ.

5 W ho satisfieth thine old age with good; thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

هُوَ مَنْ يُشْبِعُكَ وَيَملأُكَ بِالعَطايا الصّالِحَةِ، وَيُجدَدِّدُ شَبابَكِ كَنَسرٍ فَتِيٍّ.

6 J ehovah executeth righteousness and justice for all that are oppressed.

يَعْمَلُ اللهُ بِالعَدلِ وَيُنْصِفُ كُلَّ المَسْحُوقِينَ.

7 H e made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.

عَلَّمَ مُوسَى طُرُقَهُ، وَأرَى بَنِي إسرائِيلَ أعمالَهُ القَوِيَّةَ.

8 J ehovah is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in loving-kindness.

اللهُ حَنُونٌ وَرَحِيمٌ حَلِيمٌ وَمَلِيءٌ بالمَحَبَّةِ.

9 H e will not always chide, neither will he keep for ever.

لِذَلِكَ لا يُخاصِمُنا إلَى الأبَدِ، وَلا يُبقِي إلَى الأبَدِ غَضَبَهُ.

10 H e hath not dealt with us according to our sins, nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

لا يُعاقِبُنا عَلَى قَدْرِ خَطايانا، وَلا يَقتَصُّ مِنّا حَسَبَ ذُنُوبِنا.

11 F or as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is his loving-kindness toward them that fear him.

كَما تَرتَفِعُ السَّماواتُ عَلَى الأرْضِ، هَكَذا تَفِيضُ رَحْمَتُهُ، وَتَكْثُرُ لأَتْباعِهِ.

12 A s far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

يُبعِدُ عَنّا خَطايانا، بُعْدَ الشَّرقِ عَنِ الغَربِ!

13 A s a father pitieth children, so Jehovah pitieth them that fear him.

يَحنُو اللهُ عَلَى خائِفِيهِ، كَما يَحنُو أبٌ عَلَى أبنائِهِ.

14 F or himself knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.

إنَّهُ يَعْرِفُ تَكْوِينَنا، يَعلَمُ أنَّنا مِنَ التُّرابِ شُكِّلْنا.

15 A s for man, his days are as grass; as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth:

يَعلَمُ أنَّ حَياةَ النّاسِ قَصِيرَةٌ كَالعُشْبِ، كَزَهرَةٍ بَرِّيَّةٍ تَطلُعُ فَجأةً،

16 F or the wind passeth over it, and it is gone, and the place thereof knoweth it no more.

وَفَجأةً تَختَفِي حِينَ تَهُبُّ الرِّياحُ الجافَّةُ، فَلا يَستَطِيعُ أحَدٌ أنْ يَعْرِفَ أينَ كانَتْ تَنمُو.

17 B ut the loving-kindness of Jehovah is from everlasting and to everlasting, upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children,

أمّا مَحَبَّةُ اللهِ الحَقِيقِيَّةُ لأتباعِهِ، وَأعمالُهُ الصّالِحَةُ لأولادِهِمْ، فَعَلَى الدَّوامِ كانَتْ، وَكَذَلِكَ سَتَظَلُّ.

18 T o such as keep his covenant and to those that remember his precepts to do them.

اللهُ سَيُظهِرُ مَحَبَّتَهُ وَأعمالَهُ الصّالِحَةَ لِلَّذِينَ يَحفَظُونَ عَهدَهُ، وَيُطِيعُونَ وَصاياهُ.

19 J ehovah hath established his throne in the heavens, and his kingdom ruleth over all.

نَصَبَ اللهُ فِي السَّماءِ عَرشَهُ، وَعَلَى الجَمِيعِ يَمتَدُّ حُكمُهُ.

20 B less Jehovah, ye his angels, mighty in strength, that execute his word, hearkening unto the voice of his word.

يا مَلائِكَةَ اللهِ ، بارِكُوهُ! بارِكُوهُ أيُّها المُحارِبُونَ الأقوِياءُ الَّذِينَ يُطِيعُونَ أوامِرَهُ، السّامِعُونَ كَلامَهُ.

21 B less Jehovah, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his that do his will.

بارِكُوا اللهَ يا كُلَّ جُيُوشِ السَّماءِ وَخُدّامَهُ المُنَفِّذِينَ مَشِيئَتَهُ!

22 B less Jehovah, all his works, in all places of his dominion. Bless Jehovah, O my soul!

يا كُلَّ خَلقِ اللهِ ، بارِكُوهُ فِي كُلِّ مَكانٍ فِي مُلكِهِ! بارِكِي اللهَ يا نَفسِي!
