1 H o, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters; and he that hath no money, come ye, buy, and eat: yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price!

«تَعالَوْا إلَى الماءِ يا كُلَّ العِطاشِ، وَيا مَنْ لا مالَ لَهُمْ، تَعالَوْا كُلُوا وَاشرَبُوا. تَعالَوْا اشتَرُوا نَبِيذاً وَحَلِيباً بِلا مالٍ وَلا ثَمَنٍ.

2 W herefore do ye spend money for not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? Hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.

لِماذا تُنفِقُونَ مالَكُمْ فِي ما لَيسَ طَعاماً، وَتُضَيِّعُونَ تَعَبَكُمْ فِي ما لا يُشبِعُ؟ اسْتَمِعُوا إلَيَّ جَيِّداً وَكُلُوا الطَّيِّباتِ، وَتَمَتَّعُوا بِالطَّعامِ الدَّسِمِ.

3 I ncline your ear, and come unto me; hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, the sure mercies of David.

افتَحُوا آذانَكُمْ وَتَعالَوا إلَيَّ، اسْتَمِعُوا كَي تَحيُوا. سَأقطَعُ مَعَكُمْ عَهداً أبَدِيّاً، كَعَهدِ إحساناتِي الأمِينَةِ لِداوُدَ.

4 B ehold, I have given him a witness to the peoples, a prince and commander to the peoples.

جَعَلْتُهُ شاهِداً لِلأُمَمِ، وَرَئِيساً وَقائِداً لِلشُّعُوبِ.»

5 B ehold, thou shalt call a nation thou knowest not, and a nation knew not thee shall run unto thee, because of Jehovah thy God, and the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee.

سَتَدعُو أُمَّةً لا تَعرِفُها، وَأُمَمٌ لا تَعرِفُكَ سَتَركُضُ إلَيكَ، مِنْ أجلِ إلَهِكَ ، وَقُدُّوسِ إسْرائِيلَ لأنَّهُ جَمَّلَكَ.

6 S eek ye Jehovah while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near.

اطلُبُوا اللهَ ما دامَ يُوجَدُ، ادعُوهُ فَهُوَ قَرِيبٌ.

7 L et the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return unto Jehovah, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

لَيَتَخَلَّ الأشرارُ عَنْ أعمالِهِمْ، وَالأثَمَةُ عَنْ أفكارِهِمْ. ليَتُوبُوا إلَى اللهِ وَهُوَ سَيَرحَمُهُمْ، وَإلَى إلَهِنا لأنَّهُ يَغفِرُ بِلا حُدُودٍ. عَظَمَةُ فِكرِ الله

8 F or my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith Jehovah.

يَقُولُ اللهُ: «لأنَّ أفكارِيَ لَيسَتْ كَأفكارِكُمْ، وَطُرُقِي لَيسَتْ كَطُرُقِكُمْ، يَقُولُ اللهُ.

9 F or the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

فَكَما تَعلُو السَّماواتِ عَنِ الأرْضِ، هَكَذا تَعلُو طُرُقِي عَنْ طُرُقِكُمْ، وَأفكارِي عَنْ أفكارِكُمْ.

10 F or as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:

«وَكَما يَنزِلُ المَطَرُ وَالثَّلجُ مِنَ السَّماءِ وَلا يَعُودانِ إلَى هُناكَ إلّا بَعدَ أنْ يَروِيا الأرْضَ، وَيَجعَلانِها تَلِدُ وَتُنبِتُ لِتُعطِيَ بُذُوراً لِلزّارِعِ وَطَعاماً لِلآكِلِ،

11 s o shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall do that which I please, and it shall accomplish that for which I send it.

هَكَذا كَلِمَتِي الَّتِي أقُولُها، فَهِيَ لَنْ تَرجِعَ إلَيَّ بِغَيرِ نَتِيجَةٍ، لَكِنَّها سَتُنجِزُ ما أُخَطِّطُ لَهُ، وَسَتَنجَحُ فِي عَمَلِ ما أرسَلتُها لأجلِ عَمَلِهِ.

12 F or ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace; the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

«لأنَّكُمْ سَتَخرُجُونَ بِفَرَحٍ، وَسَتُقادُونَ بِسَلامٍ. الجِبالُ وَالتِّلالُ سَتَهتِفُ أمامَكُمْ بِالتَّرَنُّمِ، وَكُلُّ أشجارِ الحُقُولِ سَتُصَفِّقُ بِأيدِيها.

13 I nstead of the thorn shall come up the cypress, and instead of the nettle shall come up the myrtle; and it shall be to Jehovah for a name, for an everlasting sign shall not be cut off.

سَيَنمُو السَّروُ مَكانَ الشَّوكِ، وَنَباتُ الآسِ مَكانَ العَوسَجِ. سَيَكُونُ هَذا لِلتَّذكِيرِ باللهِ ، عَلامَةً أبَدِيَّةً لا تَزُولُ.»
