1 A nd the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,

ثُمَّ أتَتْ إلَيَّ كَلِمَةُ اللهِ:

2 S on of man, set thy face against the children of Ammon, and prophesy against them;

«يا إنْسانُ، انظُرْ نَحوَ أرْضِ العَمُّونِيِّينَ وَتَكَلَّمْ ضِدَّهُمْ.

3 a nd say unto the children of Ammon, Hear the word of the Lord Jehovah. Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because thou saidst, Aha, against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was made desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity:

قُلْ للِعَمًّونِيِّينَ: ‹اسمَعُوا كَلامَ الرَّبُّ الإلَهُ. هَذا هُوَ ما يَقُولُهُ الرَّبُّ الإلَهُ: لأنَّكُمْ ضَحِكتُمْ عَلَى هَيكَلي حِينَ تَعَرَّضَ للِتَّنجِيسِ، وَعَلَى أرَضِ إسْرائِيلَ حِينَ تَعَرَّضَتْ للِخَرابِ، وَعَلَى بَيتِ يَهُوذا حِينَ أُخِذَ إلَى السَّبيِ،

4 t herefore behold, I will give thee to the children of the east for a possession, and they shall set their encampments in thee, and make their dwellings in thee; they shall eat thy fruits, and they shall drink thy milk.

فَإنِّي سَأُسَلِّمُكِ لِبَنِي الشَّرقِ فَيَسْتَولُوا عَلَيكِ. فَسَيُقِيمُونَ مُعَسْكَراتِهِمْ فِي أرْضِكِ، وَيَنْصِبُونَ خِيامَهُمْ فِي وَسَطِ شَعبِكَ. سَيَأكُلُونَ ثَمَرَكِ وَيَشرَبُونَ لَبَنَكَ.

5 A nd I will make Rabbah a pasture for camels, and the children of Ammon a couching-place for flocks: and ye shall know that I Jehovah.

وَسَأُحَوِّلُ مدِينَةَ رَبَّةِ عَمُّونَ إلَى حَقلٍ فارغٍ تَرعَى فِيهِ الجِمالُ وَالخِرافُ. حِينَئِذٍ، تَعلَمِينَ أنِّي أنا اللهُ.›

6 F or thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because thou hast clapped the hands, and stamped with the feet, and rejoiced with all the despite of thy soul against the land of Israel;

لأنَّ هَذا هُوَ ما يَقُولُهُ الرَّبُّ الإلَهُ: ‹لأنَّكِ استَمتَعتَ بِالسُّخْرِيَةِ وَالِاستِهزاءِ بِأرْضِ إسْرائِيلَ. فَأخَذتَ تُصَفِّقُ بِيَدَيكَ وَتَضرِبُ بِرِجلَيكَ.

7 t herefore behold, I will stretch out my hand upon thee, and will give thee for a spoil to the nations; and I will cut thee off from the peoples, and I will cause thee to perish out of the countries: I will destroy thee, and thou shalt know that I Jehovah.

فَإنِّي سَأمُدُّ يَدَيَّ وَأُعاقِبُكَ، وَاُسَلِّمُكَ غَنِيمَةً لِلأُمَمُ الأُخرَى! سَأعْزِلُكَ عَنِ الشُّعُوبِ، وَأطرُدُكَ مِنَ جَميعِ البِلادِ، وَسَأُحِطِّمُكِ. حِينَئِذٍ، تَعلَمُ أنِّي أنا اللهُ.›» نُبُوَّةٌ عَن مُوآب

8 T hus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because Moab and Seir do say, Behold, the house of Judah is like unto all the nations,

هَذا هُوَ ما يَقُولُهُ الرَّبُّ الإلَهُ: «قالَتْ مُوآبُ وَسَعِيرُ: ‹ها إنَّ بَيتَ يَهُوذا مِثلُ الأُمَمِ الأُخرَى، وَلا يَختَلِفُ عَنها.›

9 t herefore behold, I will open the side of Moab from the cities, from his cities even to the last of them, the glory of the country, Beth-jeshimoth, Baal-meon, and Kirjathaim,

لِذا فَإنِّي سَأُزِيلُ كُلَّ المُدُنِ القائِمَةِ عَلَى جِبالِ مُوآبَ، بِما فِيها المُدُنُ الواقِعَةُ عَلَى الحُدُودِ مَعَ أرْضِ إسْرائِيلَ الجَمِيلَةِ، مِنْ بَيتِ بَشِمُوتَ وَبَعلِ مَعُونَ وَحَتَّى قِرْيَتايِمْ.

10 u nto the children of the east, with the children of Ammon; and I will give it them for a possession, that the children of Ammon may not be remembered among the nations:

وَسَأُسَلِّمُ مَعَها شَعْبَ عَمُّونَ مُلْكاً لِشُعُوبِ الشَّرقِ، فَلا تَعُودُ عَمُّونُ تًذْكَرُ بَينَ الأُمَمِ.

11 a nd I will execute judgments upon Moab, and they shall know that I Jehovah.

وَسَأُنَفِّذَ حُكمِي عَلَى مُوآبَ. حِينَئِذٍ، سَيَعرِفُونَ أنِّي أنا اللهُ.» نُبُوَّةٌ عَنْ أدُوم

12 T hus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because Edom hath dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and hath made himself very guilty, and revenged himself upon them,

هَذا هُوَ ما يَقُولُهُ الرَّبُّ الإلَهُ: «انتَقَمَتْ أدُومُ مِنْ بَيتِ يَهُوذا، وَقَدْ أساءَتْ إلَيْهِمْ جِدّاً.

13 t herefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will also stretch out my hand upon Edom; and will cut off man and beast from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; and unto Dedan shall they fall by the sword.

لِهَذا يَقُولُ الرَّبُّ الإلَهُ: ‹سَأُعاقِبُ أدُومَ، سَأقضِي عَلَى النّاسِ وَالحَيَواناتِ فِيها، وَأُحَوِّلُها إلَى صَحراءَ جافَّةٍ فارِغَةٍ. سَيَمُوتُ النّاسُ بِالسَّيفِ مِنْ تَيْمانَ وَحَتَّى دَدانَ.

14 A nd I will execute my vengeance upon Edom, by the hand of my people Israel; and they shall do in Edom according to mine anger and according to my fury; and they shall know my vengeance, saith the Lord Jehovah.

ثُمَّ سَأستَخدِمُ شَعبِي إسْرائِيلَ لِلِانتِقامِ مِنْ أدُومَ. فَيَنتَقِمُونَ مِنْ أدُومَ بِحَسَبِ غَضَبِي وَسَخَطِي، فَيَعرِفُ الأدُومِيُّونَ انتِقامِي.›» يَقُولُ الرّبُّ الإلَهُ. نُبُوَّةٌ عَن فِلِسطِين

15 T hus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with despite of soul, to destroy, from old hatred;

هَذا هُوَ ما يَقُولُهُ الرَّبُّ الإلَهُ: «انتَقَمَ الفِلِسطِيُّونَ. جَعَلَهُمْ كُرهُهُمُ الشَّدِيدُ وَالقَدِيمُ يَنتَقِمُونَ بِكُلِّ قُوَّةٍ وَإهانَةٍ مِنْ شَعبِي.

16 t herefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I stretch out my hands upon the Philistines, and I will cut off the Kerethites, and cause the remnant of the sea-coast to perish.

وَلِذا يَقُولُ الرَّبُّ الإلَهُ: ‹سَأُعاقِبُ الفِلِسطِيِّينَ، وَسَأستَأصِلُ الكرِيتِيِّينَ، وَأُهلِكُ ما يَتَبَقَّى مِنهُمْ عَلَى ساحِلِ البَحرِ.

17 A nd I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I Jehovah, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them.

وَهَكَذا فَإنِّي سَأنتَقِمُ مِنهُمْ بِشِدَّةٍ حِينَ أُعاقِبُهُمْ بِغَضَبِي، وَحِينَ أنتَقِمُ مِنهُمْ سَيَعرِفُونَ أنِّي أنا اللهُ.›»
