1 I ncline thine ear, Jehovah, answer me; for I am afflicted and needy.

أمِلْ إلَيَّ أُذُنَكَ يا اللهُ! أجِبنِي، فَأنا بائِسٌ وَمِسكِينٌ.

2 K eep my soul, for I am godly; O thou my God, save thy servant who confideth in thee.

احْرُسْ نَفسِي لِأنِّي أتَّقِيكَ، أنقِذنِي فَأنا أتَّكِلُ عَلَيكَ وَأنتَ إلَهِي.

3 B e gracious unto me, O Lord; for unto thee do I call all the day.

ارحَمْنِي يا رَبُّ، فَأنا أسْتَنْجِدُ بِكَ طَوالَ اليَومِ.

4 R ejoice the soul of thy servant; for unto thee, Lord, do I lift up my soul.

فَرِّحْ يا اللهُ نَفسَ عَبدِكَ، لِأنِّي وَضَعتُ حَياتِي بَينَ يَدَيكَ.

5 F or thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive, and art of great loving-kindness unto all that call upon thee.

فَأنتَ صالِحٌ يا رَبُّ، وَغَفّارٌ وَمَملُوءٌ مَحَبَّةً لِكُلِّ الَّذِينَ يَدعُونَكَ!

6 G ive ear, O Jehovah, unto my prayer, and attend to the voice of my supplications.

استَمِعْ يا اللهُ إلَى صَلاتِي. اسْمَعْ طِلباتِي!

7 I n the day of my distress I will call upon thee, for thou wilt answer me.

فِي ضِيقاتِي أدعُوكَ لأنَّكَ تُنَجِّينِي.

8 A mong the gods there is none like unto thee, Lord, and there is nothing like unto thy works.

يا رَبُّ ما مِنْ إلَهٍ آخَرَ مِثلَكَ! وَما مِنْ أحَدٍ يَفعَلُ ما تَفعَلُ!

9 A ll nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord, and shall glorify thy name.

يا رَبُّ، أنتَ صَنَعتَ كُلَّ الشُّعُوبِ، وَكُلُّهُمْ إلَيكَ سَيَأتُونَ وَيَنُوحُونَ أمامَكَ وَيُكرِمُونَ اسْمَكَ.

10 F or thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art God, thou alone.

فَأنتَ عَظِيمٌ وَصانِعُ العَجائِبِ. أنتَ وَحدَكَ اللهُ!

11 T each me thy way, Jehovah; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.

عَلِّمنِي يا اللهُ طُرُقَكَ لِأحيا فِي أمانَتِكَ. رَكِّزْ كِيانِي كُلَّهُ عَلَى تَوقِيرِ اسْمِكَ.

12 I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with my whole heart; and I will glorify thy name for evermore.

مِنْ كُلِّ كِيانِي أُسَبِّحُكَ يا إلَهِي ، وَإلَى الأبَدِ سَأُكْرِمُ اسْمَكَ!

13 F or great is thy loving-kindness toward me, and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest Sheol.

لأنَّ رَحْمَتَكَ لِيَ عَظِيمَةٌ، وَلِأنَّكَ مِنَ المَوتِ خَلَّصتَ حَياتِي!

14 O God, the proud are risen against me, and the assembly of the violent seek after my soul, and they have not set thee before them.

يا اللهُ، هَجَمَ بَعضُ المُتَغَطرِسِينَ عَلَيَّ. عِصابَةُ قُساةٍ يَسعُونَ إلَى مَوتِي، وَهُمْ لا يَتَّقُونَكَ.

15 B ut thou, Lord, art a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in goodness and truth.

أمّا أنتَ يا رَبُّ فَإلَهٌ رَحُومٌ وَمُنعِمٌ، بَطِيئُ الغَضَبِ، مُسرِعٌ إلَى الرَّحمَةِ وَالأمانَةِ.

16 T urn toward me, and be gracious unto me; give thy strength unto thy servant, and save the son of thine handmaid.

فَانتَبِهْ لِي وَارحَمْنِي. أعطِنِي أنا عَبدَكَ قُوَّتَكَ، وَأنقِذِ ابْنَ أمَتِكَ.

17 S hew me a token for good, that they which hate me may see it, and be ashamed; for thou, Jehovah, hast helped me and comforted me.

أعطِنِي عَلامَةً عَلَى صَلاحِكَ يا اللهُ! فَيَراها أعدائِي فَيَخزُونَ. عِندَئِذٍ سَيَعرِفُونَ أنَّكَ يا اللهُ أعَنتَنِي وَعَزَّيتَنِي!
