1 F or this reason I Paul, prisoner of the Christ Jesus for you nations,

بِسَبَبِ هَذا، فَإنِّي أنا بُولُسُ سَجِينُ خِدمَةِ المَسِيحِ يَسُوعَ لِمَنفَعَتِكُمْ أنتُمْ غَيرَ اليَهُودِ.

2 ( if indeed ye have heard of the administration of the grace of God which has been given to me towards you,

وَلا بُدَّ أنَّكُمْ سَمِعْتُمْ عَنِ الخِدمَةِ الَّتِي أوكَلَها اللهُ فِي نِعمَتِهِ إلَيَّ مِنْ أجلِ مَنفَعَتِكُمْ.

3 t hat by revelation the mystery has been made known to me, (according as I have written before briefly,

وَتَعرِفُونَ أيضاً أنَّ اللهَ أعلَنَ لِي سِرَّ مَشِيئَتِهِ، كَما كَتَبْتُ إلَيكُمْ سابِقاً باختِصارٍ.

4 b y which, in reading it, ye can understand my intelligence in the mystery of the Christ,)

فَإذا قَرَأْتُمْ ما كَتَبتُ، سَتُدرِكُونَ مَدَى مَعرِفَتِي المُتَبَصِّرَةَ بِسِرِّ المَسِيحِ.

5 w hich in other generations has not been made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets in Spirit,

وَهُوَ سِرٌّ لَمْ يُعلَنْ لِبَشَرٍ فِي الأجيالِ السّابِقَةِ، بِالطَّرِيقَةِ الَّتِي أعلَنَهُ اللهُ بِها الآنَ بِالرُّوحِ لِرُسُلِهِ وَأنبِيائِهِ القِدِّيسِينَ.

6 t hat the nations should be joint heirs, and a joint body, and joint partakers of promise in Christ Jesus by the glad tidings;

وَهوَ أنَّ غَيرَ اليَهُودِ هُمْ شُرَكاءٌ فِي المِيراثِ مَعَ اليَهُودِ، وَأعضاءٌ فِي جَسَدٍ واحِدٍ، وَشُرَكاءٌ فِي نَوالِ الوَعدِ الَّذِي فِي بِشارَةِ المَسِيحِ،

7 o f which I am become minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me, according to the working of his power.

الَّتي صِرتُ أنا مَسؤُولاً عَنْ إعلانِها. وَهَذا كُلُّهُ بِفَضلِ عَطِيَّةِ نِعمَةِ اللهِ الَّتِي أعطانِي إيّاها بِعَمَلِ قُوَّتِهِ.

8 T o me, less than the least of all saints, has this grace been given, to announce among the nations the glad tidings of the unsearchable riches of the Christ,

فَمَعَ أنَّنِي أقَلُّ المُؤمِنِينَ، إلّا أنَّ اللهَ أعطانِي هَذِهِ النِّعمَةَ لِأُبَشِّرَ غَيرَ اليَهُودِ بِغِنَى المَسِيحِ الَّذِي لا يُمْكِنُ تَخَيُّلُهُ.

9 a nd to enlighten all what is the administration of the mystery hidden throughout the ages in God, who has created all things,

وَقَدْ أوكَلَ إلَيَّ أنْ أُوَضِّحَ لِلجَمِيعِ سِرَّهُ الَّذِي كانَ مَكتُوماً مُنذُ بَدءِ الزَّمَنِ فِي اللهِ خالِقِ كُلِّ الأشياءِ.

10 i n order that now to the principalities and authorities in the heavenlies might be made known through the assembly the all-various wisdom of God,

أمّا الآنَ، فَاللهُ يُرِيدُ لِلكَنِيسَةِ أنْ تَكُونَ إعلاناً لِلرُّؤَساءِ وَالقُوّاتِ فِي العالَمِ السَّماوِيّ عَنْ حِكمَةِ اللهِ مُتَعَدِّدَةِ الوُجُوهِ،

11 a ccording to purpose of the ages, which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord,

وَفْقاً لِقَصدِهِ الأزَلِيِّ الَّذِي حَقَّقَهُ فِي المَسِيحِ يَسُوعَ رَبِّنا.

12 i n whom we have boldness and access in confidence by the faith of him.

فَفِي المَسِيحِ، وَبِالإيمانِ بِهِ، لَنا امتِيازُ الدُّخُولِ إلَى حَضرَةِ اللهِ بِجُرأةٍ وَثِقَةٍ.

13 W herefore I beseech not to faint through my tribulations for you, which is your glory.

لِهَذا أُصَلِّي ألّا تَجعَلُوا المِحَنَ الَّتِي أمُرُّ بِها مِنْ أجلِكُمْ تُثَبِّطُ عَزائِمَكُمْ، فَهِيَ مَصدَرُ إكرامٍ لَكُمْ! مَحَبَّةُ المَسِيح

14 F or this reason I bow my knees to the Father,

لِذَلِكَ أركَعُ عَلَى رٌكبَتَيَّ لِلآبِ،

15 o f whom every family in heavens and on earth is named,

الَّذِي تَنتَمِي إلَيهِ كُلُّ أُمَّةٍ فِي السَّماءِ وَالأرْضِ.

16 i n order that he may give you according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with power by his Spirit in the inner man;

وَأسألُهُ، حَسَبَ غِناهُ المَجِيدِ، أنْ يُقَوِّيَكُمْ بِشِدَّةٍ مِنَ الدّاخِلِ بِرُوحِهِ.

17 t hat the Christ may dwell, through faith, in your hearts, being rooted and founded in love,

وَأنْ يَسكُنَ المَسِيحُ فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ بِالإيمانِ بَينَما تَتَرَسَّخُ جُذُورُكُمْ وَأُسُسُكُمْ فِي المَحَبَّةِ.

18 i n order that ye may be fully able to apprehend with all the saints what the breadth and length and depth and height;

لِكَي تَكُونَ لَكُمْ وَلِكُلِّ المُؤمِنِينَ القُدرَةُ عَلَى استِيعابِ مَحَبَّةِ المَسِيحِ فِي كُلِّ أبْعادِها: عَرضاً وَطُولاً وَعُلُوّاً وَعُمقاً.

19 a nd to know the love of the Christ which surpasses knowledge; that ye may be filled to all the fulness of God.

وَأصَلِّي أنْ تَعرِفُوا قَدرَ ما يُمكِنُكُمْ مِنْ مَحَبَّةِ المَسِيحِ الَّتِي تَفُوقُ كُلَّ مَعرِفَةٍ، لِكَي تَمتَلِئُوا بِاللهِ فِي كُلِّ مِلئِهِ.

20 B ut to him that is able to do far exceedingly above all which we ask or think, according to the power which works in us,

وَاللهُ قادِرٌ أنْ يَفعَلَ أكثَرَ جِدّاً مِمّا نَطلُبُ أوْ نَتَخَيَّلُ، حَسَبَ شِدَّةِ قُوَّتِهِ العامِلَةِ فِينا.

21 t o him be glory in the assembly in Christ Jesus unto all generations of the age of ages. Amen).

لَهُ المَجدُ فِي الكَنِيسَةِ وَفِي المَسِيحِ يَسُوعَ إلَى كُلِّ الأجيالِ، وَإلَى أبَدِ الآبِدِينَ. آمِين.
