1 B endeciré al Señor en todo tiempo; su alabanza estará siempre en mi boca.

I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

2 A labaré al Señor con toda el alma. ¡Escuchen, gente humilde, y alégrense también!

My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.

3 ¡ Únanse a mí, y reconozcan su grandeza! ¡Exaltemos a una voz su nombre!

O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.

4 B usqué al Señor, y él me escuchó, y me libró de todos mis temores.

I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

5 L os que a él acuden irradian alegría; no tienen por qué esconder su rostro.

They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.

6 E ste pobre clamó, y el Señor lo oyó y lo libró de todas sus angustias.

This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

7 P ara defender a los que temen al Señor, su ángel acampa alrededor de ellos.

The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

8 ¡ Prueben ustedes mismos la bondad del Señor! ¡Dichoso aquél que en él confía!

O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

9 U stedes, sus fieles, teman al Señor, pues a quienes le temen nunca les falta nada.

O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.

10 L os cachorros del león chillan de hambre, pero los que buscan al Señor lo tienen todo.

The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing.

11 H ijos míos, acérquense y escúchenme; voy a enseñarles a honrar al Señor.

Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the Lord.

12 ¿ Quién de ustedes anhela vivir mucho tiempo? ¿Quién quiere vivir y llegar a ver el bien?

What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?

13 E viten entonces que su lengua hable mal; eviten que sus labios profieran mentiras.

Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.

14 A pártense del mal y practiquen el bien; busquen la paz, y no la abandonen.

Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

15 E l Señor no aparta sus ojos de los justos; sus oídos están siempre atentos a su clamor.

The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.

16 E l Señor vigila a los que hacen el mal Para borrar de la tierra su memoria.

The face of the Lord is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

17 L os justos gimen, y el Señor los escucha y los libra de todas sus angustias.

The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

18 C ercano está el Señor para salvar a los que tienen roto el corazón y el espíritu.

The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

19 E l justo pasa por muchas aflicciones, pero el Señor lo libra de todas ellas.

Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.

20 E l Señor le cuida cada uno de sus huesos, y ni uno solo de ellos se le quebrará.

He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.

21 A l malvado lo destruye su propia maldad; y los que odian al justo recibirán condenación.

Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.

22 E l Señor rescata el alma de sus siervos; no serán condenados los que en él confían.

The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.
