1 A n Instruction of Asaph. Give ear, O my people, to my law, Incline your ear to sayings of my mouth.

（ 亚 萨 的 训 诲 诗 。 ） 我 的 民 哪 ， 你 们 要 留 心 听 我 的 训 诲 ， 侧 耳 听 我 口 中 的 话 。

2 I open with a simile my mouth, I bring forth hidden things of old,

我 要 开 口 说 比 喻 ； 我 要 说 出 古 时 的 谜 语 ，

3 T hat we have heard and do know, And our fathers have recounted to us.

是 我 们 所 听 见 、 所 知 道 的 ， 也 是 我 们 的 祖 宗 告 诉 我 们 的 。

4 W e do not hide from their sons, To a later generation recounting praises of Jehovah, And His strength, and His wonders that He hath done.

我 们 不 将 这 些 事 向 他 们 的 子 孙 隐 瞒 ， 要 将 耶 和 华 的 美 德 和 他 的 能 力 ， 并 他 奇 妙 的 作 为 ， 述 说 给 後 代 听 。

5 A nd He raiseth up a testimony in Jacob, And a law hath placed in Israel, That He commanded our fathers, To make them known to their sons.

因 为 ， 他 在 雅 各 中 立 法 度 ， 在 以 色 列 中 设 律 法 ； 是 他 吩 咐 我 们 祖 宗 要 传 给 子 孙 的 ，

6 S o that a later generation doth know, Sons who are born, do rise and recount to their sons,

使 将 要 生 的 後 代 子 孙 可 以 晓 得 ； 他 们 也 要 起 来 告 诉 他 们 的 子 孙 ，

7 A nd place in God their confidence, And forget not the doings of God, But keep His commands.

好 叫 他 们 仰 望 神 ， 不 忘 记 神 的 作 为 ， 惟 要 守 他 的 命 令 。

8 A nd they are not like their fathers, A generation apostate and rebellious, A generation! it hath not prepared its heart, Nor stedfast with God its spirit.

不 要 像 他 们 的 祖 宗 ， 是 顽 梗 悖 逆 、 居 心 不 正 之 辈 ， 向 着 神 ， 心 不 诚 实 。

9 S ons of Ephraim -- armed bearers of bow, Have turned in a day of conflict.

以 法 莲 的 子 孙 带 着 兵 器 ， 拿 着 弓 ， 临 阵 之 日 转 身 退 後 。

10 T hey have not kept the covenant of God, And in His law they have refused to walk,

他 们 不 遵 守 神 的 约 ， 不 肯 照 他 的 律 法 行 ；

11 A nd they forget His doings, And His wonders that He shewed them.

又 忘 记 他 所 行 的 和 他 显 给 他 们 奇 妙 的 作 为 。

12 B efore their fathers He hath done wonders, In the land of Egypt -- the field of Zoan.

他 在 埃 及 地 ， 在 琐 安 田 ， 在 他 们 祖 宗 的 眼 前 施 行 奇 事 。

13 H e cleft a sea, and causeth them to pass over, Yea, He causeth waters to stand as a heap.

他 将 海 分 裂 ， 使 他 们 过 去 ， 又 叫 水 立 起 如 垒 。

14 A nd leadeth them with a cloud by day, And all the night with a light of fire.

他 白 日 用 云 彩 ， 终 夜 用 火 光 引 导 他 们 。

15 H e cleaveth rocks in a wilderness, And giveth drink -- as the great deep.

他 在 旷 野 分 裂 磐 石 ， 多 多 地 给 他 们 水 喝 ， 如 从 深 渊 而 出 。

16 A nd bringeth out streams from a rock, And causeth waters to come down as rivers.

他 使 水 从 磐 石 涌 出 ， 叫 水 如 江 河 下 流 。

17 A nd they add still to sin against Him, To provoke the Most High in the dry place.

他 们 却 仍 旧 得 罪 他 ， 在 乾 燥 之 地 悖 逆 至 高 者 。

18 A nd they try God in their heart, To ask food for their lust.

他 们 心 中 试 探 神 ， 随 自 己 所 欲 的 求 食 物 ，

19 A nd they speak against God -- they said: `Is God able to array a table in a wilderness?'

并 且 妄 论 神 说 ： 神 在 旷 野 岂 能 摆 设 筵 席 麽 ？

20 L o, He hath smitten a rock, And waters flow, yea, streams overflow. `Also -- bread He able to give? Doth He prepare flesh for His people?'

他 曾 击 打 磐 石 ， 使 水 涌 出 ， 成 了 江 河 ； 他 还 能 赐 粮 食 麽 ？ 还 能 为 他 的 百 姓 预 备 肉 麽 ？

21 T herefore hath Jehovah heard, And He sheweth Himself wroth, And fire hath been kindled against Jacob, And anger also hath gone up against Israel,

所 以 ， 耶 和 华 听 见 就 发 怒 ； 有 烈 火 向 雅 各 烧 起 ； 有 怒 气 向 以 色 列 上 腾 ；

22 F or they have not believed in God, Nor have they trusted in His salvation.

因 为 他 们 不 信 服 神 ， 不 倚 赖 他 的 救 恩 。

23 A nd He commandeth clouds from above, Yea, doors of the heavens He hath opened.

他 却 吩 咐 天 空 ， 又 敞 开 天 上 的 门 ，

24 A nd He raineth on them manna to eat, Yea, corn of heaven He hath given to them.

降 吗 哪 ， 像 雨 给 他 们 吃 ， 将 天 上 的 粮 食 赐 给 他 们 。

25 F ood of the mighty hath each eaten, Venison He sent to them to satiety.

各 人 （ 或 译 ： 人 ） 吃 大 能 者 的 食 物 ； 他 赐 下 粮 食 ， 使 他 们 饱 足 。

26 H e causeth an east wind to journey in the heavens, And leadeth by His strength a south wind,

他 领 东 风 起 在 天 空 ， 又 用 能 力 引 了 南 风 来 。

27 A nd He raineth on them flesh as dust, And as sand of the seas -- winged fowl,

他 降 肉 ， 像 雨 在 他 们 当 中 ， 多 如 尘 土 ， 又 降 飞 鸟 ， 多 如 海 沙 ，

28 A nd causeth to fall in the midst of His camp, Round about His tabernacles.

落 在 他 们 的 营 中 ， 在 他 们 住 处 的 四 面 。

29 A nd they eat, and are greatly satisfied, And their desire He bringeth to them.

他 们 吃 了 ， 而 且 饱 足 ； 这 样 就 随 了 他 们 所 欲 的 。

30 T hey have not been estranged from their desire, Yet their food in their mouth,

他 们 贪 而 无 厌 ， 食 物 还 在 他 们 口 中 的 时 候 ，

31 A nd the anger of God hath gone up against them, And He slayeth among their fat ones, And youths of Israel He caused to bend.

神 的 怒 气 就 向 他 们 上 腾 ， 杀 了 他 们 内 中 的 肥 壮 人 ， 打 倒 以 色 列 的 少 年 人 。

32 W ith all this they have sinned again, And have not believed in His wonders.

虽 是 这 样 ， 他 们 仍 旧 犯 罪 ， 不 信 他 奇 妙 的 作 为 。

33 A nd He consumeth in vanity their days, And their years in trouble.

因 此 ， 他 叫 他 们 的 日 子 全 归 虚 空 ， 叫 他 们 的 年 岁 尽 属 惊 恐 。

34 I f He slew them, then they sought Him, And turned back, and sought God earnestly,

他 杀 他 们 的 时 候 ， 他 们 才 求 问 他 ， 回 心 转 意 ， 切 切 地 寻 求 神 。

35 A nd they remember that God their rock, And God Most High their redeemer.

他 们 也 追 念 神 是 他 们 的 磐 石 ， 至 高 的 神 是 他 们 的 救 赎 主 。

36 A nd -- they deceive Him with their mouth, And with their tongue do lie to Him,

他 们 却 用 口 谄 媚 他 ， 用 舌 向 他 说 谎 。

37 A nd their heart hath not been right with Him, And they have not been stedfast in His covenant.

因 他 们 的 心 向 他 不 正 ， 在 他 的 约 上 也 不 忠 心 。

38 A nd He -- the Merciful One, Pardoneth iniquity, and destroyeth not, And hath often turned back His anger, And waketh not up all His fury.

但 他 有 怜 悯 ， 赦 免 他 们 的 罪 孽 ， 不 灭 绝 他 们 ， 而 且 屡 次 消 他 的 怒 气 ， 不 发 尽 他 的 忿 怒 。

39 A nd He remembereth that they flesh, A wind going on -- and it returneth not.

他 想 到 他 们 不 过 是 血 气 ， 是 一 阵 去 而 不 返 的 风 。

40 H ow often do they provoke Him in the wilderness, Grieve Him in the desolate place?

他 们 在 旷 野 悖 逆 他 ， 在 荒 地 叫 他 担 忧 ， 何 其 多 呢 ！

41 Y ea, they turn back, and try God, And the Holy One of Israel have limited.

他 们 再 三 试 探 神 ， 惹 动 以 色 列 的 圣 者 。

42 T hey have not remembered His hand The day He ransomed them from the adversary.

他 们 不 追 念 他 的 能 力 （ 原 文 是 手 ） 和 赎 他 们 脱 离 敌 人 的 日 子 ；

43 W hen He set His signs in Egypt, And His wonders in the field of Zoan,

他 怎 样 在 埃 及 地 显 神 迹 ， 在 琐 安 田 显 奇 事 ，

44 A nd He turneth to blood their streams, And their floods they drink not.

把 他 们 的 江 河 并 河 的 水 都 变 为 血 ， 使 他 们 不 能 喝 。

45 H e sendeth among them the beetle, and it consumeth them, And the frog, and it destroyeth them,

他 叫 苍 蝇 成 群 落 在 他 们 当 中 ， 嘬 尽 他 们 ， 又 叫 青 蛙 灭 了 他 们 ，

46 A nd giveth to the caterpillar their increase, And their labour to the locust.

把 他 们 的 土 产 交 给 蚂 蚱 ， 把 他 们 辛 苦 得 来 的 交 给 蝗 虫 。

47 H e destroyeth with hail their vine, And their sycamores with frost,

他 降 冰 雹 打 坏 他 们 的 葡 萄 树 ， 下 严 霜 打 坏 他 们 的 桑 树 ，

48 A nd delivereth up to the hail their beasts, And their cattle to the burning flames.

又 把 他 们 的 牲 畜 交 给 冰 雹 ， 把 他 们 的 群 畜 交 给 闪 电 。

49 H e sendeth on them the fury of His anger, Wrath, and indignation, and distress -- A discharge of evil messengers.

他 使 猛 烈 的 怒 气 和 忿 怒 、 恼 恨 、 苦 难 成 了 一 群 降 灾 的 使 者 ， 临 到 他 们 。

50 H e pondereth a path for His anger, He kept not back their soul from death, Yea, their life to the pestilence He delivered up.

他 为 自 己 的 怒 气 修 平 了 路 ， 将 他 们 交 给 瘟 疫 ， 使 他 们 死 亡 ，

51 A nd He smiteth every first-born in Egypt, The first-fruit of the strong in tents of Ham.

在 埃 及 击 杀 一 切 长 子 ， 在 含 的 帐 棚 中 击 杀 他 们 强 壮 时 头 生 的 。

52 A nd causeth His people to journey as a flock, And guideth them as a drove in a wilderness,

他 却 领 出 自 己 的 民 如 羊 ， 在 旷 野 引 他 们 如 羊 群 。

53 A nd He leadeth them confidently, And they have not been afraid, And their enemies hath the sea covered.

他 领 他 们 稳 稳 妥 妥 地 ， 使 他 们 不 致 害 怕 ； 海 却 淹 没 他 们 的 仇 敌 。

54 A nd He bringeth them in unto the border of His sanctuary, This mountain His right hand had got,

他 带 他 们 到 自 己 圣 地 的 边 界 ， 到 他 右 手 所 得 的 这 山 地 。

55 A nd casteth out nations from before them, And causeth them to fall in the line of inheritance, And causeth the tribes of Israel to dwell in their tents,

他 在 他 们 面 前 赶 出 外 邦 人 ， 用 绳 子 将 外 邦 的 地 量 给 他 们 为 业 ， 叫 以 色 列 支 派 的 人 住 在 他 们 的 帐 棚 里 。

56 A nd they tempt and provoke God Most High, And His testimonies have not kept.

他 们 仍 旧 试 探 、 悖 逆 至 高 的 神 ， 不 守 他 的 法 度 ，

57 A nd they turn back, And deal treacherously like their fathers, They have been turned like a deceitful bow,

反 倒 退 後 ， 行 诡 诈 ， 像 他 们 的 祖 宗 一 样 ； 他 们 改 变 ， 如 同 翻 背 的 弓 。

58 A nd make Him angry with their high places, And with their graven images make Him zealous,

因 他 们 的 邱 坛 惹 了 他 的 怒 气 ； 因 他 们 雕 刻 的 偶 像 触 动 他 的 愤 恨 。

59 G od hath heard, and sheweth Himself wroth. And kicketh exceedingly against Israel.

神 听 见 就 发 怒 ， 极 其 憎 恶 以 色 列 人 。

60 A nd He leaveth the tabernacle of Shiloh, The tent He had placed among men,

甚 至 他 离 弃 示 罗 的 帐 幕 ， 就 是 他 在 人 间 所 搭 的 帐 棚 ；

61 A nd He giveth His strength to captivity, And His beauty into the hand of an adversary,

又 将 他 的 约 柜 （ 原 文 是 能 力 ） 交 与 人 掳 去 ， 将 他 的 荣 耀 交 在 敌 人 手 中 ；

62 A nd delivereth up to the sword His people, And with His inheritance shewed Himself angry.

并 将 他 的 百 姓 交 与 刀 剑 ， 向 他 的 产 业 发 怒 。

63 H is young men hath fire consumed, And His virgins have not been praised.

少 年 人 被 火 烧 灭 ； 处 女 也 无 喜 歌 。

64 H is priests by the sword have fallen, And their widows weep not.

祭 司 倒 在 刀 下 ， 寡 妇 却 不 哀 哭 。

65 A nd the Lord waketh as a sleeper, As a mighty one crying aloud from wine.

那 时 ， 主 像 世 人 睡 醒 ， 像 勇 士 饮 酒 呼 喊 。

66 A nd He smiteth His adversaries backward, A reproach age-during He hath put on them,

他 就 打 退 了 他 的 敌 人 ， 叫 他 们 永 蒙 羞 辱 ；

67 A nd He kicketh against the tent of Joseph, And on the tribe of Ephraim hath not fixed.

并 且 他 弃 掉 约 瑟 的 帐 棚 ， 不 拣 选 以 法 莲 支 派 ，

68 A nd He chooseth the tribe of Judah, With mount Zion that He loved,

却 拣 选 犹 大 支 派 ─ 他 所 喜 爱 的 锡 安 山 ；

69 A nd buildeth His sanctuary as a high place, Like the earth, He founded it to the age.

盖 造 他 的 圣 所 ， 好 像 高 峰 ， 又 像 他 建 立 永 存 之 地 ；

70 A nd He fixeth on David His servant, And taketh him from the folds of a flock,

又 拣 选 他 的 仆 人 大 卫 ， 从 羊 圈 中 将 他 召 来 ，

71 F rom behind suckling ones He hath brought him in, To rule over Jacob His people, And over Israel His inheritance.

叫 他 不 再 跟 从 那 些 带 奶 的 母 羊 ， 为 要 牧 养 自 己 的 百 姓 雅 各 和 自 己 的 产 业 以 色 列 。

72 A nd he ruleth them according to the integrity of his heart, And by the skilfulness of his hands leadeth them!

於 是 ， 他 按 心 中 的 纯 正 牧 养 他 们 ， 用 手 中 的 巧 妙 引 导 他 们 。
