1 A todos los sedientos: Venid a las aguas; y a los que no tienen dinero: Venid, comprad y comed. Sí, venid, comprad sin dinero y sin precio, vino y leche.

Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

2 ¿ Por qué gastáis el dinero en lo que no es pan, y vuestro jornal en lo que no sacia? Oídme atentamente, y comed de lo bueno, y se deleitará vuestra alma con lo más sustancioso.

Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.

3 I nclinad vuestro oído, y venid a mí; oíd, y vivirá vuestra alma; y haré con vosotros un pacto eterno, las misericordiosas y firmes promesas hechas a David.

Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

4 H e aquí que yo lo di por testigo a los pueblos, por jefe y por caudillo a las gentes.

Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.

5 H e aquí, llamarás a naciones que no conociste, y naciones que no te conocían correrán a ti, por causa de Jehová tu Dios, y del Santo de Israel porque te ha honrado.

Behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the Lord thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee.

6 B uscad a Jehová mientras puede ser hallado, llamadle en tanto que está cercano.

Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:

7 D eje el impío su camino, y el hombre inicuo sus pensamientos, y vuélvase a Jehová, el cual tendrá compasión de él, y a nuestro Dios, el cual será amplio en perdonar.

Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

8 P orque mis pensamientos no son vuestros pensamientos, ni vuestros caminos mis caminos, dice Jehová.

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.

9 P ues así como los cielos son más altos que la tierra, así son mis caminos más altos que vuestros caminos, y mis pensamientos más que vuestros pensamientos.

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

10 P orque como desciende de los cielos la lluvia y la nieve, y no vuelve allá, sino que riega la tierra, y la hace germinar y producir, y da semilla al que siembra, y pan al que come,

For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:

11 a sí será mi palabra que sale de mi boca; no volverá a mí vacía, sino que realizará lo que me place, y cumplirá aquello para lo que la envié.

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

12 P orque con alegría saldréis, y con paz seréis conducidos; los montes y los collados prorrumpirán en cánticos de júbilo delante de vosotros, y todos los árboles del campo darán palmadas de aplauso.

For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

13 E n lugar de la zarza crecerá el ciprés, y en lugar de la ortiga crecerá el mirto; y será a Jehová por memorial, por señal eterna que nunca será borrada.

Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the Lord for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.
