1 E stas cosas habló Jesús, y levantando los ojos al cielo, dijo: Padre, la hora ha llegado; glorifica a tu Hijo, para que también tu Hijo te glorifique a ti;

Jesus spoke these things; and lifting up His eyes to heaven, He said, “Father, the hour has come; glorify Your Son, that the Son may glorify You,

2 c omo le has dado potestad sobre toda carne, para que dé vida eterna a todos los que le diste.

even as You gave Him authority over all flesh, that to all whom You have given Him, He may give eternal life.

3 Y esta es la vida eterna: que te conozcan a ti, el único Dios verdadero, y a Jesucristo, a quien has enviado.

This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

4 Y o te he glorificado en la tierra; he acabado la obra que me diste que hiciese.

I glorified You on the earth, having accomplished the work which You have given Me to do.

5 A hora pues, Padre, glorifícame tú al lado tuyo, con aquella gloria que tuve contigo antes que el mundo fuese.

Now, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.

6 H e manifestado tu nombre a los hombres que del mundo me diste; tuyos eran, y me los diste, y han guardado tu palabra.

“ I have manifested Your name to the men whom You gave Me out of the world; they were Yours and You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word.

7 A hora han conocido que todas las cosas que me has dado, proceden de ti;

Now they have come to know that everything You have given Me is from You;

8 p orque las palabras que me diste, les he dado; y ellos las recibieron, y han conocido verdaderamente que salí de ti, y han creído que tú me enviaste.

for the words which You gave Me I have given to them; and they received them and truly understood that I came forth from You, and they believed that You sent Me.

9 Y o ruego por ellos; no ruego por el mundo, sino por los que me diste; porque tuyos son,

I ask on their behalf; I do not ask on behalf of the world, but of those whom You have given Me; for they are Yours;

10 y todo lo mío es tuyo, y lo tuyo mío; y he sido glorificado en ellos.

and all things that are Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine; and I have been glorified in them.

11 Y ya no estoy en el mundo; mas éstos están en el mundo, y yo voy a ti. Padre santo, a los que me has dado, guárdalos en tu nombre, para que sean uno, así como nosotros.

I am no longer in the world; and yet they themselves are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep them in Your name, the name which You have given Me, that they may be one even as We are.

12 C uando estaba con ellos en el mundo, yo los guardaba en tu nombre; a los que me diste, yo los guardé, y ninguno de ellos se perdió, sino el hijo de perdición, para que la Escritura se cumpliese.

While I was with them, I was keeping them in Your name which You have given Me; and I guarded them and not one of them perished but the son of perdition, so that the Scripture would be fulfilled. The Disciples in the World

13 P ero ahora voy a ti; y hablo esto en el mundo, para que tengan mi gozo cumplido en sí mismos.

But now I come to You; and these things I speak in the world so that they may have My joy made full in themselves.

14 Y o les he dado tu palabra; y el mundo los aborreció, porque no son del mundo, como tampoco yo soy del mundo.

I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

15 N o ruego que los quites del mundo, sino que los guardes del mal.

I do not ask You to take them out of the world, but to keep them from the evil one.

16 N o son del mundo, como tampoco yo soy del mundo.

They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

17 S antifícalos en tu verdad; tu palabra es verdad.

Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth.

18 C omo tú me enviaste al mundo, así yo los he enviado al mundo.

As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.

19 Y por ellos yo me santifico a mí mismo, para que también ellos sean santificados en la verdad.

For their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they themselves also may be sanctified in truth.

20 M as no ruego solamente por éstos, sino también por los que han de creer en mí por la palabra de ellos,

“I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word;

21 p ara que todos sean uno; como tú, oh Padre, en mí, y yo en ti, que también ellos sean uno en nosotros; para que el mundo crea que tú me enviaste.

that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me. Their Future Glory

22 L a gloria que me diste, yo les he dado, para que sean uno, así como nosotros somos uno.

The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one;

23 Y o en ellos, y tú en mí, para que sean perfectos en unidad, para que el mundo conozca que tú me enviaste, y que los has amado a ellos como también a mí me has amado.

I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me.

24 P adre, aquellos que me has dado, quiero que donde yo estoy, también ellos estén conmigo, para que vean mi gloria que me has dado; porque me has amado desde antes de la fundación del mundo.

Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.

25 P adre justo, el mundo no te ha conocido, pero yo te he conocido, y éstos han conocido que tú me enviaste.

“O righteous Father, although the world has not known You, yet I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me;

26 Y les he dado a conocer tu nombre, y lo daré a conocer aún, para que el amor con que me has amado, esté en ellos, y yo en ellos.

and I have made Your name known to them, and will make it known, so that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.”
