1 S ing ye unto Jehovah a new song: for he hath done wondrous things; his right hand and his holy arm hath wrought salvation for him.

(Ein Psalm.) Singet dem HERRN ein neues Lied; denn er tut Wunder. Er siegt mit seiner Rechten und mit seinem heiligen Arm.

2 J ehovah hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the nations.

Der HERR läßt sein Heil verkündigen; vor den Völkern läßt er seine Gerechtigkeit offenbaren.

3 H e hath remembered his loving-kindness and his faithfulness toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

Er gedenkt an seine Gnade und Wahrheit dem Hause Israel; aller Welt Enden sehen das Heil unsers Gottes.

4 S hout aloud unto Jehovah, all the earth; break forth and shout for joy, and sing psalms.

Jauchzet dem HERRN, alle Welt; singet, rühmet und lobet!

5 S ing psalms unto Jehovah with the harp: with the harp, and the voice of a song;

Lobet den HERRN mit Harfen, mit Harfen und Psalmen!

6 W ith trumpets and sound of cornet, make a joyful noise before the King, Jehovah.

Mit Drommeten und Posaunen jauchzet vor dem HERRN, dem König!

7 L et the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein;

Das Meer brause und was darinnen ist, der Erdboden und die darauf wohnen.

8 L et the floods clap hands; let the mountains sing for joy together,

Die Wasserströme frohlocken, und alle Berge seien fröhlich

9 B efore Jehovah, for he cometh to judge the earth: he will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with equity.

vor dem HERRN; denn er kommt das Erdreich zu richten. Er wird den Erdboden richten mit Gerechtigkeit und die Völker mit Recht.
