Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.

2 К расив по възвишеността си, радост на цялата земя, Е хълмът Сион, гдето по северните му страни Е градът на великия цар.

Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.

3 В палатите му Бог е познат като прибежище.

God is known in her palaces for a refuge.

4 З ащото, ето, царете се събраха; Всички преминаха.

For, lo, the kings were assembled, they passed by together.

5 Т е като видяха почудиха се, Смутиха се, спуснаха се на бяг.

They saw it, and so they marvelled; they were troubled, and hasted away.

6 Т репет ги обзе там, Болки като на раждаща жена.

Fear took hold upon them there, and pain, as of a woman in travail.

7 С източния вятър Ти съкрушаваш тарсийските кораби.

Thou breakest the ships of Tarshish with an east wind.

8 К аквото бяхме чули, това и видяхме В града на Господа на Силите, в града на нашия Бог, Който Бог и до века ще утвърди. (Села).

As we have heard, so have we seen in the city of the Lord of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it for ever. Selah.

9 Р азмишляваме, Боже, за Твоето милосърдие Всред Твоя храм.

We have thought of thy lovingkindness, O God, in the midst of thy temple.

10 С поред името Ти, Боже, е и хвалата Ти до краищата на земята; Десницата Ти е пълна с правда.

According to thy name, O God, so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness.

11 Н ека се весели хълмът Сион, Нека се радват Юдовите дъщери. Заради Твоите съдби.

Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of thy judgments.

12 О биколете Сион и обходете го; Пребройте кулите му;

Walk about Zion, and go round about her: tell the towers thereof.

13 О бърнете внимание в укрепленията му; Разгледайте палатите му; За да го разказвате на поколението подир вас.

Mark ye well her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that ye may tell it to the generation following.

14 З ащото Тоя Бог е наш Бог до вечни векове; Той ще ни ръководи дори до смърт.

For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.
