1 以 下 是 神 人 摩 西 在 未 死 之 先 為 以 色 列 人 所 祝 的 福 ：

And this the blessing which Moses the man of God blessed the sons of Israel before his death,

2 他 說 ： 耶 和 華 從 西 乃 而 來 ， 從 西 珥 向 他 們 顯 現 ， 從 巴 蘭 山 發 出 光 輝 ， 從 萬 萬 聖 者 中 來 臨 ， 從 他 右 手 為 百 姓 傳 出 烈 火 的 律 法 。

and he saith: -- `Jehovah from Sinai hath come, And hath risen from Seir for them; He hath shone from mount Paran, And hath come myriads of holy ones; At His right hand springs for them.

3 他 疼 愛 百 姓 ； 眾 聖 徒 都 在 他 手 中 。 他 們 坐 在 他 的 腳 下 ， 領 受 他 的 言 語 。

Also He loving the peoples; All His holy ones in thy hand, And they -- they sat down at thy foot, He lifteth up at thy words.

4 摩 西 將 律 法 傳 給 我 們 ， 作 為 雅 各 會 眾 的 產 業 。

A law hath Moses commanded us, A possession of the assembly of Jacob.

5 百 姓 的 眾 首 領 ， 以 色 列 的 各 支 派 ， 一 同 聚 會 的 時 候 ， 耶 和 華 （ 原 文 作 他 ） 在 耶 書 崙 中 為 王 。

And he is in Jeshurun king, In the heads of the people gathering together, The tribes of Israel!

6 願 流 便 存 活 ， 不 至 死 亡 ； 願 他 人 數 不 致 稀 少 。

Let Reuben live, and not die, And let his men be a number.

7 為 猶 大 祝 福 說 ： 求 耶 和 華 俯 聽 猶 大 的 聲 音 ， 引 導 他 歸 於 本 族 ； 他 曾 用 手 為 自 己 爭 戰 ， 你 必 幫 助 他 攻 擊 敵 人 。

And this for Judah; and he saith: -- Hear, O Jehovah, the voice of Judah, And unto his people do Thou bring him in; His hand hath striven for him, And an help from his adversaries art Thou.

8 論 利 未 說 ： 耶 和 華 阿 ， 你 的 土 明 和 烏 陵 都 在 你 的 虔 誠 人 那 裡 。 你 在 瑪 撒 曾 試 驗 他 ， 在 米 利 巴 水 與 他 爭 論 。

And of Levi he said: -- Thy Thummim and thy Urim for thy pious one, Whom Thou hast tried in Massah, Thou dost strive with Him at the waters of Meribah;

9 他 論 自 己 的 父 母 說 ： 我 未 曾 看 見 ； 他 也 不 承 認 弟 兄 ， 也 不 認 識 自 己 的 兒 女 。 這 是 因 利 未 人 遵 行 你 的 話 ， 謹 守 你 的 約 。

Who is saying of his father and his mother, I have not seen him; And his brethren he hath not discerned, And his sons he hath not known; For they have observed Thy saying, And Thy covenant they keep.

10 他 們 要 將 你 的 典 章 教 訓 雅 各 ， 將 你 的 律 法 教 訓 以 色 列 。 他 們 要 把 香 焚 在 你 面 前 ， 把 全 牲 的 燔 祭 獻 在 你 的 壇 上 。

They teach Thy judgments to Jacob, And Thy law to Israel; They put perfume in Thy nose, And whole burnt-offering on Thine altar.

11 求 耶 和 華 降 福 在 他 的 財 物 上 ， 悅 納 他 手 裡 所 辦 的 事 。 那 些 起 來 攻 擊 他 和 恨 惡 他 的 人 ， 願 你 刺 透 他 們 的 腰 ， 使 他 們 不 得 再 起 來 。

Bless, O Jehovah, his strength, And the work of his hands Thou acceptest, Smite the loins of his withstanders, And of those hating him -- that they rise not!

12 論 便 雅 憫 說 ： 耶 和 華 所 親 愛 的 必 同 耶 和 華 安 然 居 住 ； 耶 和 華 終 日 遮 蔽 他 ， 也 住 在 他 兩 肩 之 中 。

Of Benjamin he said: -- The beloved of Jehovah doth tabernacle confidently by him, Covering him over all the day; Yea, between his shoulders He doth tabernacle.

13 論 約 瑟 說 ： 願 他 的 地 蒙 耶 和 華 賜 福 ， 得 天 上 的 寶 物 、 甘 露 ， 以 及 地 裡 所 藏 的 泉 水 ；

And of Joseph he said: -- Blessed of Jehovah his land, By precious things of the heavens, By dew, and by the deep crouching beneath,

14 得 太 陽 所 曬 熟 的 美 果 ， 月 亮 所 養 成 的 寶 物 ；

And by precious things -- fruits of the sun, And by precious things -- cast forth by the moons,

15 得 上 古 之 山 的 至 寶 ， 永 世 之 嶺 的 寶 物 ；

And by chief things -- of the ancient mountains, And by precious things -- of the age-during heights,

16 得 地 和 其 中 所 充 滿 的 寶 物 ， 並 住 荊 棘 中 上 主 的 喜 悅 。 願 這 些 福 都 歸 於 約 瑟 的 頭 上 ， 歸 於 那 與 弟 兄 迥 別 之 人 的 頂 上 。

And by precious things -- of earth and its fulness, And the good pleasure Of Him who is dwelling in the bush, -- Let it come for the head of Joseph, And for the crown of him Who is separate from his brethren.

17 他 為 牛 群 中 頭 生 的 ， 有 威 嚴 ； 他 的 角 是 野 牛 的 角 ， 用 以 牴 觸 萬 邦 ， 直 到 地 極 。 這 角 是 以 法 蓮 的 萬 萬 ， 瑪 拿 西 的 千 千 。

His honour a firstling of his ox, And his horns horns of a reem; By them peoples he doth push together To the ends of earth; And they the myriads of Ephraim, And they the thousands of Manasseh.

18 論 西 布 倫 說 ： 西 布 倫 哪 ， 你 出 外 可 以 歡 喜 。 以 薩 迦 阿 ， 在 你 帳 棚 裡 可 以 快 樂 。

And of Zebulun he said: -- Rejoice, O Zebulun, in thy going out, And, O Issachar, in thy tents;

19 他 們 要 將 列 邦 召 到 山 上 ， 在 那 裡 獻 公 義 的 祭 ； 因 為 他 們 要 吸 取 海 裡 的 豐 富 ， 並 沙 中 所 藏 的 珍 寶 。

Peoples the mountain they call, There they sacrifice righteous sacrifices; For the abundance of the seas they suck, And hidden things hidden in the sand.

20 論 迦 得 說 ： 使 迦 得 擴 張 的 應 當 稱 頌 ！ 迦 得 住 如 母 獅 ； 他 撕 裂 膀 臂 ， 連 頭 頂 也 撕 裂 。

And of Gad he said: -- Blessed of the Enlarger Gad, As a lioness he doth tabernacle, And hath torn the arm -- also the crown!

21 他 為 自 己 選 擇 頭 一 段 地 ， 因 在 那 裡 有 設 立 律 法 者 的 分 存 留 。 他 與 百 姓 的 首 領 同 來 ； 他 施 行 耶 和 華 的 公 義 和 耶 和 華 與 以 色 列 所 立 的 典 章 。

And he provideth the first part for himself, For there the portion of the lawgiver is covered, And he cometh the heads of the people; The righteousness of Jehovah he hath done, And His judgments with Israel.

22 論 但 說 ： 但 為 小 獅 子 ， 從 巴 珊 跳 出 來 。

And of Dan he said: -- Dan a lion's whelp; he doth leap from Bashan.

23 論 拿 弗 他 利 說 ： 拿 弗 他 利 阿 ， 你 足 沾 恩 惠 ， 滿 得 耶 和 華 的 福 ， 可 以 得 西 方 和 南 方 為 業 。

And of Naphtali he said: -- O Naphtali, satisfied with pleasure, And full of the blessing of Jehovah, West and south possess thou.

24 論 亞 設 說 ： 願 亞 設 享 受 多 子 的 福 樂 ， 得 他 弟 兄 的 喜 悅 ， 可 以 把 腳 蘸 在 油 中 。

And of Asher he said: -- Blessed with sons Asher, Let him be accepted by his brethren, And dipping in oil his foot.

25 你 的 門 閂 （ 門 閂 或 作 ： 鞋 ） 是 銅 的 ， 鐵 的 。 你 的 日 子 如 何 ， 你 的 力 量 也 必 如 何 。

Iron and brass thy shoes, And as thy days -- thy strength.

26 耶 書 崙 哪 ， 沒 有 能 比 神 的 。 他 為 幫 助 你 ， 乘 在 天 空 ， 顯 其 威 榮 ， 駕 行 穹 蒼 。

There is none like the God of Jeshurun, Riding the heavens in thy help, And in His excellency the skies.

27 永 生 的 神 是 你 的 居 所 ； 他 永 久 的 膀 臂 在 你 以 下 。 他 在 你 前 面 攆 出 仇 敵 ， 說 ： 毀 滅 罷 。

A habitation the eternal God, And beneath arms age-during. And He casteth out from thy presence the enemy, and saith, `Destroy!'

28 以 色 列 安 然 居 住 ； 雅 各 的 本 源 獨 居 五 穀 新 酒 之 地 。 他 的 天 也 滴 甘 露 。

And Israel doth tabernacle confidence alone; The eye of Jacob unto a land of corn and wine; Also His heavens drop down dew.

29 以 色 列 阿 ， 你 是 有 福 的 ！ 誰 像 你 這 蒙 耶 和 華 所 拯 救 的 百 姓 呢 ？ 他 是 你 的 盾 牌 ， 幫 助 你 ， 是 你 威 榮 的 刀 劍 。 你 的 仇 敵 必 投 降 你 ； 你 必 踏 在 他 們 的 高 處 。

O thy happiness, O Israel! who is like thee? A people saved by Jehovah, The shield of thy help, And He who the sword of thine excellency: And thine enemies are subdued for thee, And thou on their high places dost tread.'
