1 T hen showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at Joshua’s right hand to be his adversary and to accuse him.

Me mostró al sumo sacerdote Josué, el cual estaba delante del ángel de Jehová, y Satanás estaba a su mano derecha para acusarle.

2 A nd the Lord said to Satan, The Lord rebuke you, O Satan! Even the Lord, Who chooses Jerusalem, rebuke you! Is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?

Y dijo Jehová a Satanás: Jehová te reprenda, oh Satanás; Jehová que ha escogido a Jerusalén te reprenda. ¿No es éste un tizón arrebatado del incendio?

3 N ow Joshua was clothed with filthy garments and was standing before the Angel.

Y Josué estaba vestido de vestiduras viles, y estaba delante del ángel.

4 A nd He spoke to those who stood before Him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And He said to, Behold, I have caused your iniquity to pass from you, and I will clothe you with rich apparel.

Y habló el ángel, y mandó a los que estaban delante de él, diciendo: Quitadle esas vestiduras viles. Y a él le dijo: Mira que he quitado de ti tu pecado, y te he hecho vestir de ropas de gala.

5 A nd I said, Let them put a clean turban on his head. So they put a clean turban on his head and clothed him with garments. And the Angel of the Lord stood by.

Después dijo: Pongan mitra limpia sobre su cabeza. Y pusieron una mitra limpia sobre su cabeza, y le vistieron las ropas. Y el ángel de Jehová estaba en pie.

6 A nd the Angel of the Lord protested and affirmed to Joshua, saying,

Y el ángel de Jehová amonestó a Josué, diciendo:

7 T hus says the Lord of hosts: If you will walk in My ways and keep My charge, then also you shall rule My house and have charge of My courts, and I will give you access and places to walk among these who stand here.

Así dice Jehová de los ejércitos: Si anduvieres por mis caminos, y si guardares mi ordenanza, también tú gobernarás mi casa, también guardarás mis atrios, y entre éstos que aquí están te daré lugar.

8 H ear now, O Joshua the high priest, you and your colleagues who sit before you—for they are men who are a sign or omen —for behold, I will bring forth My servant the Branch.

Escucha pues, ahora, Josué sumo sacerdote, tú y tus amigos que se sientan delante de ti, porque son varones simbólicos. He aquí, yo traigo a mi siervo el Renuevo.

9 F or behold, upon the stone which I have set before Joshua, upon that one stone are seven eyes or facets. Behold, I will carve upon it its inscription, says the Lord of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity and guilt of this land in a single day.

Porque he aquí aquella piedra que puse delante de Josué; sobre esta única piedra hay siete ojos; he aquí yo grabaré su escultura, dice Jehová de los ejércitos, y quitaré el pecado de la tierra en un día.

10 I n that day, says the Lord of hosts, you shall invite each man his neighbor under his own vine and his own fig tree.

En aquel día, dice Jehová de los ejércitos, cada uno de vosotros convidará a su compañero, debajo de su vid y debajo de su higuera.
