1 I saw the Lord standing at the altar, and He said, Smite the tops of the pillars until the thresholds tremble, and shatter them on the heads of all of the people; and the remainder of them I will slay with the sword. He who flees of them shall not get away, and he who escapes of them shall not be delivered.

Vi al Señor que estaba sobre el altar, y dijo: Derriba el capitel, y estremézcanse las puertas, y hazlos pedazos sobre la cabeza de todos; y al postrero de ellos mataré a espada; no habrá de ellos quien huya, ni quien escape.

2 T hough they dig into Sheol (Hades, the dark abode of the gathered dead), from there shall My hand take them; though they climb up to heaven, from there will I bring them down;

Aunque cavasen hasta el Seol, de allá los tomará mi mano; y aunque subieren hasta el cielo, de allá los haré descender.

3 A nd though they hide themselves on the top of Carmel, from there I will search out and take them; and though they hide from My sight at the bottom of the sea, there I will command the serpent and it shall bite them.

Si se escondieren en la cumbre del Carmelo, allí los buscaré y los tomaré; y aunque se escondieren de delante de mis ojos en lo profundo del mar, allí mandaré a la serpiente y los morderá.

4 A nd though they go into captivity before their enemies, there will I command the sword and it shall slay them, and I will set My eyes upon them for evil and not for good.

Y si fueren en cautiverio delante de sus enemigos, allí mandaré la espada, y los matará; y pondré sobre ellos mis ojos para mal, y no para bien.

5 T he Lord God of hosts, it is He Who touches the earth and it melts, and all who dwell in it mourn; it shall rise like the Nile, all of it, and it shall sink again like the Nile of Egypt.

El Señor, Jehová de los ejércitos, es el que toca la tierra, y se derretirá, y llorarán todos los que en ella moran; y crecerá toda como un río, y mermará luego como el río de Egipto.

6 I t is He Who builds His upper chambers in the heavens and Who founds His vault over the earth, Who calls to the waters of the sea and pours them out on the face of the earth—The Lord is His name.

El edificó en el cielo sus cámaras, y ha establecido su expansión sobre la tierra; él llama las aguas del mar, y sobre la faz de la tierra las derrama; Jehová es su nombre.

7 Y ou are no more to Me than these Cushites, says the Lord. I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt, but have I not brought the Philistines out of Caphtor and the Syrians from Kir?

Hijos de Israel, ¿no me sois vosotros como hijos de etíopes, dice Jehová? ¿No hice yo subir a Israel de la tierra de Egipto, y a los filisteos de Caftor, y de Kir a los arameos?

8 B ehold, the eyes of the Lord God are upon the sinful kingdom and I will destroy it from the surface of the ground, except that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, says the Lord.

He aquí los ojos de Jehová el Señor están contra el reino pecador, y yo lo asolaré de la faz de la tierra; mas no destruiré del todo la casa de Jacob, dice Jehová.

9 F or behold, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations and cause it to move to and fro as grain is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least kernel fall upon the earth and be lost.

Porque he aquí yo mandaré y haré que la casa de Israel sea zarandeada entre todas las naciones, como se zarandea el grano en una criba, y no cae un granito en la tierra.

10 A ll the sinners of My people shall die by the sword, who say, The evil shall not overtake or meet us.

A espada morirán todos los pecadores de mi pueblo, que dicen: No se acercará, ni nos alcanzará el mal. Restauración futura de Israel

11 I n that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David, the fallen hut or booth, and close up its breaches; and I will raise up its ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old,

En aquel día yo levantaré el tabernáculo caído de David, y cerraré sus portillos y levantaré sus ruinas, y lo edificaré como en el tiempo pasado;

12 T hat they may possess the remnant of Edom and of all the nations that are called by My name, says the Lord Who does this.

para que aquellos sobre los cuales es invocado mi nombre posean el resto de Edom, y a todas las naciones, dice Jehová que hace esto.

13 B ehold, the days are coming, says the Lord, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him who sows the seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine and all the hills shall melt.

He aquí vienen días, dice Jehová, en que el que ara alcanzará al segador, y el pisador de las uvas al que lleve la simiente; y los montes destilarán mosto, y todos los collados se derretirán.

14 A nd I will bring back the exiles of My people Israel, and they shall build the waste cities and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards and drink the wine from them; they shall also make gardens and eat the fruit of them.

Y traeré del cautiverio a mi pueblo Israel, y edificarán ellos las ciudades asoladas, y las habitarán; plantarán viñas, y beberán el vino de ellas, y harán huertos, y comerán el fruto de ellos.

15 A nd I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be torn up out of their land which I gave them, says the Lord your God.

Pues los plantaré sobre su tierra, y nunca más serán arrancados de su tierra que yo les di, ha dicho Jehová Dios tuyo.
