1 И Господното слово дойде към мене и рече:

And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying:

2 С ине човешки, пророкувай против Израилевите пророци, които пророкуват, и кажи на ония, които пророкуват от своето си сърце: Слушайте словото Господно.

Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say unto them that prophesy out of their own heart, Hear ye the word of Jehovah.

3 Т ака казва Господ Иеова: Горко на глупавите пророци, Които се водят по своя си дух, Без да са видели някое <видение>!

Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!

4 И зраилю, твоите пророци са Като лисици в развалините.

O Israel, thy prophets have been like foxes in desert places.

5 В ие не се изкачихте в проломите, Нито издигнахте ограда за Израилевия дом, За да устои в боя в деня Господен.

Ye have not gone up into the breaches, nor made up the fence for the house of Israel, to stand in the battle in the day of Jehovah.

6 О ния видяха суети и лъжливи предсказания, Които казват: Господ говори, Когато Господ не ги е пратил, И които направиха човеците да се надяват, Че думата <им> щяла да се изпълни.

They have seen vanity and lying divination, that say, Jehovah saith! and Jehovah hath not sent them; and they make to hope that the word will be fulfilled.

7 Н е видяхте ли суетни видения, И не говорихте ли лъжливи предсказания, Когато казвате: Господ рече, При все, че не съм говорил?

Have ye not seen a vain vision, and spoken a lying divination, when ye say, Jehovah saith; and I have not spoken?

8 З атова, така казва Господ Иеова: Понеже говорихте суети и видяхте лъжи, Затова, ето, Аз съм против вас, Казва Господ Иеова.

Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because ye speak vanity, and have seen lies, therefore behold, I am against you, saith the Lord Jehovah.

9 И ръката Ми ще бъде против пророците, Които гледат суети и предсказват лъжи; Те не ще бъдат в съвета на людете Ми, Нито ще бъдат записани в списъка на Израилевия дом, Нито ще влязат в Израилевата земя; И ще познаете, че Аз съм Господ Иеова.

And my hand shall be against the prophets that see vanity and that divine lies: they shall not be in the council of my people, neither shall they be written in the register of the house of Israel, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel: and ye shall know that I the Lord Jehovah.

10 П онеже, да! понеже измамиха людете Ми Като казваха: Мир! а пък няма мир; И когато някои градяха една слабичка стена, Ето, те я мажеха с кал,

Because, yea because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace! and there is no peace; and one buildeth up a wall, and lo, they daub it with untempered —

11 К ажи на ония, които я мажат с кал, че ще падне, <Понеже> ще вали пороен дъжд, И ти, голяма, каменна градушка, ще паднеш <върху нея>, И бурен вятър ще я съсипе.

say unto them which daub it with untempered that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing rain, and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall, and a stormy wind shall burst forth.

12 Е то, когато падне стената, няма ли да ви рекат: Где е калта, с която мазахте?

And lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing with which ye have daubed ?

13 З атова, така казва Господ Иеова: Непременно ще я съсипя в яростта Си с бурен вятър, В гнева Ми ще вали пороен дъжд, И в яростта Ми <ще падне> голяма градушка от камъни, за да я разруша.

Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will cause to burst forth a stormy wind in my fury; and there shall be an overflowing rain in mine anger, and hail-stones in fury for utter destruction.

14 Т ака ще съборя стената, Която измазахте с кал, И <така> ще я съсипя на земята, Щото ще се открият основите й; Тя ще падне, и вие ще загинете всред нея; И ще познаете, че Аз съм Господ.

And I will break down the wall that ye have daubed with untempered, and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered; and it shall fall, and ye shall be destroyed in the midst thereof; and ye shall know that I Jehovah.

15 Т ака ще изчерпя яростта Си върху стената И върху ония, които са я измазали с кал, И ще ви река: Няма стената, Нито ония, които я измазаха, <именно>,

And I will accomplish my fury upon the wall, and upon them that daub it with untempered, and will say unto you, The wall is no, neither they that daubed it,

16 И зраилевите пророци, които пророкуват за Ерусалим, И които виждат видения на мир за него, Когато няма мир, казва Господ Иеова.

the prophets of Israel who prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and who see a vision of peace for her, and there is no peace, saith the Lord Jehovah.

17 И ти, сине човешки, Насочи лицето си <и> против дъщерите на людете си, Които пророкуват от своето си сърце; И пророкувай против тях, като речеш:

And thou, son of man, set thy face against the daughters of thy people, who prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy against them,

18 Т ака казва Господ Иеова: Горко на жените които пришиват възглавнички на всеки лакът, И правят покривала за главите на <лица от> всякакъв ръст, за да ловят души! Ще ловите ли душите на людете Ми, И ще пазите ли души живи за себе си?

and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Woe unto the women that sew pillows for all wrists, and that make veils for the head of every stature to catch souls! Will ye catch the souls of my people, and will ye save your own souls alive?

19 К ато лъжете людете Ми, които слушат лъжи, Ще Ме оскверните ли между людете Ми За шепи ечемик и късчета хляб, Та да убивате души, които не трябваше да умрат, И да опазите живи души, които не трябваше да живеят?

And will ye profane me among my people for handfuls of barley and for morsels of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that listen to lying?

20 З атова, така казва Господ Иеова: Ето, Аз съм против възглавничките ви, С които ловите души като птици; Ще ги отдера от мишниците ви, И ще оставя да избягат душите, Душите, които вие ловите като птици.

Wherefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against your pillows, that the souls which ye catch by their means may fly away; and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, the souls that ye catch, that they may fly away.

21 Щ е раздера и покривалата ви, И ще избавя людете Си от ръката ви, Та няма вече да бъдат в ръката ви за лов; И ще познаете, че Аз съм Господ.

And I will tear your veils and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and ye shall know that I Jehovah.

22 З ащото с лъжите оскърбихте сърцето на праведния, Когото Аз не оскърбих; И укрепихте ръцете на злодееца За да се не върне от нечестивия си път, Та да се спаси животът му.

Because with falsehood ye have grieved the heart of the righteous, whom I have not made sad; and have strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, to save his life:

23 З атова няма вече да виждате суети, Нито ще предсказвате вече предсказания; И ще избавя людете Си от ръката ви! И ще познаете, че Аз съм Господ.

therefore ye shall no more see vanity, nor divine divinations; and I will deliver my people out of your hand: and ye shall know that I Jehovah.
