¶ Job answered and said,

2 N gươi đã phù trợ kẻ không quyền dường nào! Tiếp cứu cánh tay chẳng sức lực,

How hast thou helped the one who has no power? Hast thou saved with thy arm the one who has no strength?

3 K huyên luận kẻ vô tri, Và tỏ biết bao sự khôn sáng chơn thật!

How hast thou counselled the one that has no wisdom? and how hast thou plentifully declared the thing as it is?

4 N gười đã giảng luận cho ai? Linh hồn của ai bởi người mà ra?

To whom hast thou uttered words, and whose is the spirit that comes forth from thee?

5 K ẻ qua đời run rảy Dưới nước lớn, và muôn vật ở đó cũng vậy.

¶ Dead things are formed under the waters and of its dwelling places.

Sheol is naked before him, and hell has no covering.

7 C húa trải bắc cực ra trên vùng trống, Treo trái đất trong khoảng không không.

He stretches out the north wind over the empty place and hangs the earth upon nothing.

8 N gài ém nước trong các áng mây Ngài, Mà áng mây không bứt ra vì nước ấy.

He binds up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under them.

9 N gài che khuất bề mặt của ngai Ngài, Và trải mây Ngài ở trên nó.

He holds back the face of his throne and spreads his cloud upon it.

10 N gài đã vẽ một vòng tròn trên mặt nước, Cho đến nơi giới cực của ánh sáng và tối tăm giáp nhau.

He has compassed the waters with bounds until the end of light and darkness.

11 N hưng trụ của các từng trời rúng động, Và sững sờ khi Đức Chúa Trời hăm dọa.

The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof.

12 N gài lấy quyền năng mình mà khiến biển dậy lên, Và nhờ sự khôn ngoan mình mà đánh vỡ Ra-háp.

He divides the sea with his power, and by his intelligence he smites its pride.

13 T hần Chúa điểm trang các từng trời; Tay Chúa đấm lũng rắn thoảng qua lẹ.

By his spirit he has adorned the heavens; his hand has formed the fleeing serpent.

14 K ìa, ấy chỉ là biên giới của các đường lối Ngài; Ta được nghe tiếng nói về Chúa xầm xì nhỏ thay! Nhưng ai hiểu rõ tiếng sấm của quyền năng Ngài?

Behold, these are parts of his ways; but how little a portion have we heard of him? For the thunder of his power, who shall understand?
