1 ¶ The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 H e makes me to lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside the still waters.
3 H e restores my soul: he leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
4 Y ea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff shall comfort me.
5 T hou shalt prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; thou hast anointed my head with oil; my cup is running over.
6 S urely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will rest in the house of the LORD for ever.
