1 Y ahweh is my shepherd: I shall lack nothing.

اللهُ راعِيَّ، فلَنْ يَنقُصَنِي شَيءٌ.

2 H e makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.

فِي مَراعٍ خَصبَةٍ يُسكِنُنِي. إلَى جَداوِلَ هادِئَةٍ يَقُودُنِي.

3 H e restores my soul. He guides me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

يُنعِشُ رُوحِي، وَعَلَى طُرُقٍ صالِحَةٍ يَهدِينِي،

4 E ven though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

حَتَّى حِينَ أمشِي فِي وادِي المَوْتِ المُظلِمِ، لَنْ أخشَى شَرّاً لِأنَّكَ أنتَ مَعِي. عَصاكَ وَعُكّازَكَ يُشَجِّعانَنِي.

5 Y ou prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil. My cup runs over.

أعدَدْتَ لِي مائِدَةً أمامَ أعدائِيَ. بِزَيتٍ مَسَحْتَ رَأْسِي. كَأْسِي امتَلأتْ وَفاضَتْ.

6 S urely goodness and loving kindness shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in Yahweh’s house forever.

الخَيرُ وَالرَّحمَةُ يِتبَعانَنِي كُلَّ أيّامِ حَياتِي. وَسَأمكُثُ فِي بَيتِ اللهِ طَوالَ حَياتِي.
