1 M ay Yahweh answer you in the day of trouble. May the name of the God of Jacob set you up on high,

لَيْتَ اللهَ يَستَجِيبُ لَكَ فِي ضِيقِكَ. لَيْتَ اسْمَ إلَهِ يَعقُوبَ يَرْفَعُكَ وَيَحْمِيكَ.

2 s end you help from the sanctuary, grant you support from Zion,

لَيْتَهُ يُرسِلُ لَكَ عَوْناً مِنْ هَيكَلِ قُدْسِهِ. لَيْتَهُ يَسنِدُكَ مِنْ صِهْيَوْنَ.

3 r emember all your offerings, and accept your burnt sacrifice. Selah.

لَيْتَهُ يَتَذَكَّرُ كُلَّ تَقدِماتِكَ مِنَ الدَّقِيقِ، وَيَقبَلُ ذَبِيحَتَكَ. سِلاهْ

4 M ay He grant you your heart’s desire, and fulfill all your counsel.

لَيتَهُ يُعطِيكَ مُشْتَهَياتِ قَلْبِكَ، لَيتَهُ يُنجِحُ كُلَّ خُطَطِكَ.

5 W e will triumph in your salvation. In the name of our God, we will set up our banners. May Yahweh grant all your requests.

لَيتَنا نَفرَحُ بِنَصْرِكَ، وَنَبْتَهِجُ بِاسْمِ إلَهِنا. وَلَيتَ اللهَ يُحَقِّقُ كُلَّ طِلْباتِكَ.

6 N ow I know that Yahweh saves his anointed. He will answer him from his holy heaven, with the saving strength of his right hand.

عَرَفْتُ الآنَ أنَّ اللهَ سَيُنَجِّي مَلِكَهُ المَمسُوحَ. سَيَستَجِيبُ مِنْ سَماواتِهِ المُقَدَّسَةِ، وَبِيَمِينِهِ سَيُحرِزُ نَصْراً عَظِيماً.

7 S ome trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we trust the name of Yahweh our God.

بَعضُهُمْ يَفتَخِرُ بِمَركَباتِهِ، وَبَعضُهُمْ بِخَيلِهِ. أمّا نَحنُ فَنَذْكُرُ اسْمَ إلَهِنا وَنَفْتَخِرُ بِهِ.

8 T hey are bowed down and fallen, but we rise up, and stand upright.

هَؤُلاءِ يَسقُطُونَ وَيُخضَعُونَ. أمّا نَحنُ فَنَصْمِدُ وَنَغلِبُ.

9 S ave, Yahweh! Let the King answer us when we call!

يَستِجِيبُ لَنا اللهُ حِينَ نَدعُوهُ، وَسَيَنصُرُ المَلِكَ.
