1 “ Don’t let your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me.

你 们 心 里 不 要 忧 愁 ； 你 们 信 神 ， 也 当 信 我 。

2 I n my Father’s house are many homes. If it weren’t so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you.

在 我 父 的 家 里 有 许 多 住 处 ； 若 是 没 有 ， 我 就 早 已 告 诉 你 们 了 。 我 去 原 是 为 你 们 预 备 地 方 去 。

3 I f I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and will receive you to myself; that where I am, you may be there also.

我 若 去 为 你 们 预 备 了 地 方 ， 就 必 再 来 接 你 们 到 我 那 里 去 ， 我 在 那 里 ， 叫 你 们 也 在 那 里 。

4 W here I go, you know, and you know the way.”

我 往 那 里 去 ， 你 们 知 道 ； 那 条 路 ， 你 们 也 知 道 （ 有 古 卷 作 ： 我 往 那 里 去 ， 你 们 知 道 那 条 路 ） 。

5 T homas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going. How can we know the way?”

多 马 对 他 说 ： 主 阿 ， 我 们 不 知 道 你 往 那 里 去 ， 怎 麽 知 道 那 条 路 呢 ？

6 J esus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

耶 稣 说 我 就 是 道 路 、 真 理 、 生 命 ； 若 不 藉 着 我 ， 没 有 人 能 到 父 那 里 去 。

7 I f you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on, you know him, and have seen him.”

你 们 若 认 识 我 ， 也 就 认 识 我 的 父 。 从 今 以 後 ， 你 们 认 识 他 ， 并 且 已 经 看 见 他 。

8 P hilip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and that will be enough for us.”

腓 力 对 他 说 ： 求 主 将 父 显 给 我 们 看 ， 我 们 就 知 足 了 。

9 J esus said to him, “Have I been with you such a long time, and do you not know me, Philip? He who has seen me has seen the Father. How do you say, ‘Show us the Father?’

耶 稣 对 他 说 ： 腓 力 ， 我 与 你 们 同 在 这 样 长 久 ， 你 还 不 认 识 我 麽 ？ 人 看 见 了 我 ， 就 是 看 见 了 父 ； 你 怎 麽 说 将 父 显 给 我 们 看 呢 ？

10 D on’t you believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I tell you, I speak not from myself; but the Father who lives in me does his works.

我 在 父 里 面 ， 父 在 我 里 面 ， 你 不 信 麽 ？ 我 对 你 们 所 说 的 话 ， 不 是 凭 着 自 己 说 的 ， 乃 是 住 在 我 里 面 的 父 做 他 自 己 的 事 。

11 B elieve me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me; or else believe me for the very works’ sake.

你 们 当 信 我 ， 我 在 父 里 面 ， 父 在 我 里 面 ； 即 或 不 信 ， 也 当 因 我 所 做 的 事 信 我 。

12 M ost certainly I tell you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also; and he will do greater works than these, because I am going to my Father.

我 实 实 在 在 的 告 诉 你 们 ， 我 所 做 的 事 ， 信 我 的 人 也 要 做 ， 并 且 要 做 比 这 更 大 的 事 ， 因 为 我 往 父 那 里 去 。

13 W hatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

你 们 奉 我 的 名 无 论 求 甚 麽 ， 我 必 成 就 ， 叫 父 因 儿 子 得 荣 耀 。

14 I f you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.

你 们 若 奉 我 的 名 求 甚 麽 ， 我 必 成 就 。

15 I f you love me, keep my commandments.

你 们 若 爱 我 ， 就 必 遵 守 我 的 命 令 。

16 I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, that he may be with you forever,—

我 要 求 父 ， 父 就 另 外 赐 给 你 们 一 位 保 惠 师 （ 或 作 ： 训 慰 师 ； 下 同 ） ， 叫 他 永 远 与 你 们 同 在 ，

17 t he Spirit of truth, whom the world can’t receive; for it doesn’t see him, neither knows him. You know him, for he lives with you, and will be in you.

就 是 真 理 的 圣 灵 ， 乃 世 人 不 能 接 受 的 ； 因 为 不 见 他 ， 也 不 认 识 他 。 你 们 却 认 识 他 ， 因 他 常 与 你 们 同 在 ， 也 要 在 你 们 里 面 。

18 I will not leave you orphans. I will come to you.

我 不 撇 下 你 们 为 孤 儿 ， 我 必 到 你 们 这 里 来 。

19 Y et a little while, and the world will see me no more; but you will see me. Because I live, you will live also.

还 有 不 多 的 时 候 ， 世 人 不 再 看 见 我 ， 你 们 却 看 见 我 ； 因 为 我 活 着 ， 你 们 也 要 活 着 。

20 I n that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.

到 那 日 ， 你 们 就 知 道 我 在 父 里 面 ， 你 们 在 我 里 面 ， 我 也 在 你 们 里 面 。

21 O ne who has my commandments, and keeps them, that person is one who loves me. One who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will reveal myself to him.”

有 了 我 的 命 令 又 遵 守 的 ， 这 人 就 是 爱 我 的 ； 爱 我 的 必 蒙 我 父 爱 他 ， 我 也 要 爱 他 ， 并 且 要 向 他 显 现 。

22 J udas (not Iscariot) said to him, “Lord, what has happened that you are about to reveal yourself to us, and not to the world?”

犹 大 （ 不 是 加 略 人 犹 大 ） 问 耶 稣 说 ： 主 阿 ， 为 甚 麽 要 向 我 们 显 现 ， 不 向 世 人 显 现 呢 ？

23 J esus answered him, “If a man loves me, he will keep my word. My Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our home with him.

耶 稣 回 答 说 ： 人 若 爱 我 ， 就 必 遵 守 我 的 道 ； 我 父 也 必 爱 他 ， 并 且 我 们 要 到 他 那 里 去 ， 与 他 同 住 。

24 H e who doesn’t love me doesn’t keep my words. The word which you hear isn’t mine, but the Father’s who sent me.

不 爱 我 的 人 就 不 遵 守 我 的 道 。 你 们 所 听 见 的 道 不 是 我 的 ， 乃 是 差 我 来 之 父 的 道 。

25 I have said these things to you, while still living with you.

我 还 与 你 们 同 住 的 时 候 ， 已 将 这 些 话 对 你 们 说 了 。

26 B ut the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you.

但 保 惠 师 ， 就 是 父 因 我 的 名 所 要 差 来 的 圣 灵 ， 他 要 将 一 切 的 事 指 教 你 们 ， 并 且 要 叫 你 们 想 起 我 对 你 们 所 说 的 一 切 话 。

27 P eace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.

我 留 下 平 安 给 你 们 ； 我 将 我 的 平 安 赐 给 你 们 。 我 所 赐 的 ， 不 像 世 人 所 赐 的 。 你 们 心 里 不 要 忧 愁 ， 也 不 要 胆 怯 。

28 Y ou heard how I told you, ‘I go away, and I come to you.’ If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I said ‘I am going to my Father;’ for the Father is greater than I.

你 们 听 见 我 对 你 们 说 了 ， 我 去 还 要 到 你 们 这 里 来 。 你 们 若 爱 我 ， 因 我 到 父 那 里 去 ， 就 必 喜 乐 ， 因 为 父 是 比 我 大 的 。

29 N ow I have told you before it happens so that, when it happens, you may believe.

现 在 事 情 还 没 有 成 就 ， 我 预 先 告 诉 你 们 ， 叫 你 们 到 事 情 成 就 的 时 候 就 可 以 信 。

30 I will no more speak much with you, for the prince of the world comes, and he has nothing in me.

以 後 我 不 再 和 你 们 多 说 话 ， 因 为 这 世 界 的 王 将 到 。 他 在 我 里 面 是 毫 无 所 有 ；

31 B ut that the world may know that I love the Father, and as the Father commanded me, even so I do. Arise, let us go from here.

但 要 叫 世 人 知 道 我 爱 父 ， 并 且 父 怎 样 吩 咐 我 ， 我 就 怎 样 行 。 起 来 ， 我 们 走 罢 ！
