1 E n cuanto a la colecta para los santos, haced vosotros también de la manera que ordené a las iglesias de Galacia.

Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye.

2 C ada primer día de la semana, cada uno de vosotros ponga aparte algo, según haya prosperado, guardándolo, para que cuando yo llegue no se hagan entonces colectas.

Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.

3 Y cuando yo llegue, enviaré con cartas a quienes vosotros hayáis designado, para que lleven vuestro donativo a Jerusalén.

And when I come, whomsoever ye shall approve by your letters, them will I send to bring your liberality unto Jerusalem.

And if it be meet that I go also, they shall go with me.

5 I ré a vosotros, cuando haya pasado por Macedonia, pues tengo que pasar por Macedonia.

Now I will come unto you, when I shall pass through Macedonia: for I do pass through Macedonia.

6 Y podrá ser que me quede con vosotros, o aun pase el invierno, para que vosotros me encaminéis adonde haya de ir.

And it may be that I will abide, yea, and winter with you, that ye may bring me on my journey whithersoever I go.

7 P orque no quiero veros ahora de paso, pues espero permanecer con vosotros algún tiempo, si el Señor lo permite.

For I will not see you now by the way; but I trust to tarry a while with you, if the Lord permit.

8 P ero me quedaré en Éfeso hasta Pentecostés;

But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost.

9 p orque se me ha abierto una puerta grande y eficaz, y son muchos los adversarios.

For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.

10 Y si llega Timoteo, mirad que esté con vosotros sin temor, porque él trabaja en la obra del Señor como yo también.

Now if Timotheus come, see that he may be with you without fear: for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do.

11 P or tanto, nadie le menosprecie, sino encaminadle en paz, para que venga a mí, porque le espero con los hermanos.

Let no man therefore despise him: but conduct him forth in peace, that he may come unto me: for I look for him with the brethren.

12 A cerca del hermano Apolos, mucho le rogué que fuese a vosotros con los hermanos, mas de ninguna manera tuvo voluntad de ir por ahora; pero irá cuando tenga oportunidad. Saludos finales

As touching our brother Apollos, I greatly desired him to come unto you with the brethren: but his will was not at all to come at this time; but he will come when he shall have convenient time.

13 V elad, estad firmes en la fe; portaos varonilmente, y sed fuertes.

Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.

14 T odas vuestras cosas sean hechas con amor.

Let all your things be done with charity.

15 H ermanos, ya sabéis que la familia de Estéfanas es las primicias de Acaya, y que ellos se han puesto al servicio de los santos.

I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,)

16 O s ruego que os sometáis a personas como ellos, y a todos los que colaboran y trabajan con afán.

that ye submit yourselves unto such, and to every one that helpeth with us, and laboureth.

17 M e alegro de la presencia de Estéfanas, de Fortunato y de Acaico, pues ellos han suplido vuestra ausencia.

I am glad of the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus: for that which was lacking on your part they have supplied.

18 P orque han tranquilizado mi espíritu y el vuestro; reconoced, pues, a tales personas.

For they have refreshed my spirit and yours: therefore acknowledge ye them that are such.

19 L as iglesias de Asia os saludan. Aquila y Priscila, con la iglesia que está en su casa, os envían muchos saludos en el Señor.

The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house.

20 O s saludan todos los hermanos. Saludaos los unos a los otros con beso santo.

All the brethren greet you. Greet ye one another with an holy kiss.

21 Y o, Pablo, os escribo esta salutación de mi propia mano.

22 S i alguno no ama al Señor Jesucristo, sea anatema. El Señor viene.

If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.

23 L a gracia del Señor Jesucristo esté con vosotros.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

24 M i amor en Cristo Jesús esté con todos vosotros. Amén.
