1 N o te impacientes a causa de los malvados, Ni tengas envidia de los que hacen iniquidad.

Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.

2 P orque como hierba serán pronto cortados, Y como el césped verde se secarán.

For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.

3 C onfía en Jehová, y haz el bien; Habita tu tierra y cultiva la fidelidad.

Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.

4 P on asimismo tu delicia en Jehová, Y él te concederá las peticiones de tu corazón.

Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

5 E ncomienda a Jehová tu camino, Y confía en él; y él actuará.

Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

6 E xhibirá tu justicia como la luz, Y tu derecho como el mediodía.

And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.

7 G uarda silencio ante Jehová, y espera en él. No te alteres con motivo del que prospera en su camino, Por el hombre que hace maldades.

Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

8 D eja la ira, y depón el enojo; No te excites en manera alguna a hacer lo malo.

Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.

9 P orque los malhechores serán destruidos, Pero los que esperan en Jehová, heredarán la tierra.

For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth.

10 P ues de aquí a poco no existirá el malvado; Observarás su lugar, y ya no estará allí.

For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.

11 P ero los mansos heredarán la tierra, Y se recrearán con abundancia de paz.

But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

12 M aquina el impío contra el justo, Y rechina contra él sus dientes;

The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth.

13 E l Señor se reirá de él; Porque ve que le llega su día.

The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming.

14 L os impíos desenvainan espada y entesan su arco, Para derribar al pobre y al menesteroso, Para matar a los de recto proceder.

The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation.

15 S u espada entrará en su mismo corazón, Y su arco será quebrado.

Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.

16 M ás vale lo poco del justo, Que las muchas riquezas del impío.

A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked.

17 P orque los brazos de los impíos serán quebrados; Mas el que sostiene a los justos es Jehová.

For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the Lord upholdeth the righteous.

18 C onoce Jehová los días de los íntegros, Y la heredad de ellos será para siempre.

The Lord knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever.

19 N o serán avergonzados en tiempo de escasez, Y en los días de hambre serán saciados.

They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.

20 M as los impíos perecerán, Y los enemigos de Jehová como la lozanía de los prados Serán consumidos; se disiparán como el humo.

But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the Lord shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.

21 E l impío toma prestado, y no devuelve; Mas el justo tiene misericordia, y da.

The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth.

22 L os que Dios bendice heredarán la tierra; Y los que él maldice serán destruidos.

For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.

23 P or Jehová son afianzados los pasos del hombre, Y él aprueba su camino.

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.

24 C uando cayere, no quedará postrado, Porque Jehová sostiene su mano.

Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.

25 J oven fui, y ya he envejecido, Y no he visto al justo desamparado, Ni a su descendencia mendigando el pan.

I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

26 E n todo tiempo tiene misericordia y presta; Y su descendencia es una bendición.

He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed.

27 A pártate del mal, y haz el bien, Y tendrás para siempre una morada.

Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore.

28 P orque Jehová ama la rectitud, Y no desampara a sus santos. Para siempre serán guardados; Mas la descendencia de los impíos será destruida.

For the Lord loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.

29 L os justos heredarán la tierra, Y vivirán para siempre sobre ella.

The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.

30 L a boca del justo derrama sabiduría, Y su lengua habla rectitud.

The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment.

31 L a ley de su Dios está en su corazón; Por tanto, sus pies no resbalarán.

The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.

32 A cecha el impío al justo, Y procura matarlo.

The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him.

33 J ehová no lo dejará en sus manos, Ni permitirá que lo condenen cuando lo lleven a los tribunales.

The Lord will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.

34 E spera en Jehová, y guarda su camino, Y él te exaltará para heredar la tierra, Y verás la destrucción de los malvados.

Wait on the Lord, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.

35 V i yo al impío sumamente enaltecido, Y que prosperaba como un cedro frondoso.

I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree.

36 P ero pasé de nuevo, y he aquí ya no estaba; Lo busqué, y no fue hallado.

Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found.

37 C onsidera al íntegro, y mira al justo; Porque hay un porvenir dichoso para él y para su posteridad.

Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.

38 M as los transgresores serán todos a una destruidos; La posteridad de los impíos será extinguida.

But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off.

39 L a salvación de los justos viene de Jehová, Y él es su refugio en el tiempo de la angustia.

But the salvation of the righteous is of the Lord: he is their strength in the time of trouble.

40 J ehová les ayudará y los librará; Los libertará de los impíos, y los salvará, Por cuanto en él esperaron.

And the Lord shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.
