1 S olamente en Dios descansa mi alma; De él viene mi salvación.

Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.

2 S olamente él es mi roca y mi salvación; Es mi refugio, no resbalaré mucho.

He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.

3 ¿ Hasta cuándo maquinaréis contra un hombre, Tratando todos vosotros de aplastarle Como pared que se desploma y como cerca que se derrumba?

How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall ye be, and as a tottering fence.

4 S olamente consultan para arrojarle de su altura. Aman la mentira; Con su boca bendicen, pero maldicen en su corazón. Selah

They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.

5 A lma mía, reposa solamente en Dios, Porque de él procede mi esperanza.

My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.

6 S olamente él es mi roca y mi salvación. Es mi refugio, no resbalaré.

He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.

7 E n Dios está mi salvación y mi gloria; En Dios está mi roca fuerte, y mi refugio.

In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.

8 E sperad en él en todo tiempo, oh pueblos; Derramad delante de él vuestro corazón; Dios es nuestro refugio. Selah

Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.

9 P or cierto, como un soplo son los hijos de los hombres, mentira los hijos de los notables; Pesándolos a todos juntos en la balanza, Serán más leves que un soplo.

Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity.

10 N o confiéis en la violencia, Ni en la rapiña; no os envanezcáis: Si se aumentan las riquezas, no pongáis el corazón en ellas.

Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them.

11 U na cosa ha dicho Dios; Dos veces la he oído yo: Que de Dios es el poder,

God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.

12 Y tuya, oh Señor, es la misericordia; Porque tú pagas a cada uno conforme a su obra.

Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.
