1 A ti es debida la alabanza en Sión, oh Dios, Y a ti se cumplirán los votos.

Praise waiteth for thee, O God, in Sion: and unto thee shall the vow be performed.

2 T ú oyes la oración; A ti vendrá toda carne, a causa de sus culpas.

O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come.

3 L as iniquidades prevalecen contra mí; Mas nuestras rebeliones tú las perdonas.

Iniquities prevail against me: as for our transgressions, thou shalt purge them away.

4 B ienaventurado el que tú escoges y atraes a ti, Para que habite en tus atrios; Seremos saciados del bien de tu casa, De la santidad de tu templo.

Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple.

5 C on portentos de justicia nos respondes, Oh Dios de nuestra salvación, Esperanza de todos los términos de la tierra, Y de los más remotos confines del mar.

By terrible things in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation; who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off upon the sea:

6 T ú, el que afianza los montes con su poder, Ceñido de valentía;

which by his strength setteth fast the mountains; being girded with power:

7 E l que sosiega el estruendo de los mares, el bramido de sus olas, Y el tumulto de las naciones.

which stilleth the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the people.

8 P or tanto, los habitantes de los confines de la tierra se sobrecogen ante sus señales portentosas. Tú haces alegrar las puertas de la aurora y del ocaso.

They also that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at thy tokens: thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice.

9 C uidas de la tierra, y la riegas; En gran manera la enriqueces; Con el río de Dios, lleno de aguas, Preparas el grano de ellos, cuando así la dispones.

Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it: thou greatly enrichest it with the river of God, which is full of water: thou preparest them corn, when thou hast so provided for it.

10 H aces que se empapen sus surcos, Igualas sus terrones; La ablandas con lluvias, Bendices sus renuevos.

Thou waterest the ridges thereof abundantly: thou settlest the furrows thereof: thou makest it soft with showers: thou blessest the springing thereof.

11 T ú coronas el año con tus bienes, Y tus nubes destilan abundancia.

Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.

12 D estilan sobre los pastos del páramo, Y los collados se ciñen de alegría.

They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness: and the little hills rejoice on every side.

13 S e cubren de manadas los llanos, Y los valles se cubren de mieses; Dan voces de júbilo, y aun cantan.

The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing.
