1 ¶ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
2 C ommand the sons of Israel that they bring unto thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamps to burn continually.
“Command the children of Israel, that they bring to you pure olive oil beaten for the light, to cause a lamp to burn continually.
3 O utside the veil of the testimony, in the tabernacle of the testimony, shall Aaron order it from the evening unto the morning before the LORD continually; it shall be a perpetual statute for all your ages.
Outside of the veil of the Testimony, in the Tent of Meeting, shall Aaron keep it in order from evening to morning before Yahweh continually: it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations.
4 H e shall order the lamps upon the pure lampstand before the LORD continually.
He shall keep in order the lamps on the pure gold lamp stand before Yahweh continually.
5 A nd thou shalt take fine flour and bake twelve cakes thereof; each cake shall be of two-tenth deals.
“You shall take fine flour, and bake twelve cakes of it: two tenths of an ephah shall be in one cake.
6 A nd thou shalt set them in two orders, six in each order, upon the clean table before the LORD.
You shall set them in two rows, six on a row, on the pure gold table before Yahweh.
7 A nd thou shalt put pure frankincense upon each order, that it may be on the bread for an aroma and incense unto the LORD.
You shall put pure frankincense on each row, that it may be to the bread for a memorial, even an offering made by fire to Yahweh.
8 E very sabbath he shall set it in order before the LORD continually: an everlasting covenant of the sons of Israel.
Every Sabbath day he shall set it in order before Yahweh continually. It is on the behalf of the children of Israel an everlasting covenant.
9 A nd it shall belong to Aaron and his sons, and they shall eat it in the holy place, for it is most holy unto him of the offerings of the LORD on fire, by a perpetual statute.
It shall be for Aaron and his sons; and they shall eat it in a holy place: for it is most holy to him of the offerings of Yahweh made by fire by a perpetual statute.”
10 ¶ In that season the son of an Israelite woman, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the sons of Israel; and this son of the Israelite woman and a man of Israel strove together in the camp;

11 a nd the Israelite woman’s son pronounced the Name and cursed; and they brought him unto Moses. And his mother’s name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.
The son of the Israelite woman blasphemed the Name, and cursed; and they brought him to Moses. His mother’s name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.
12 A nd they put him in ward that the mind of the LORD might be showed them.
They put him in custody, until Yahweh’s will should be declared to them.
13 A nd the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
14 B ring forth the one that has blasphemed outside the camp and let all that heard him lay their hands upon his head, and let all the congregation stone him.
“Bring out of the camp him who cursed; and let all who heard him lay their hands on his head, and let all the congregation stone him.
15 A nd thou shalt speak unto the sons of Israel, saying, The man that speaks evil of his God shall bear his sin.
You shall speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘Whoever curses his God shall bear his sin.
16 A nd he that pronounces the name of the LORD shall surely be put to death; all the congregation shall certainly stone him; the same with the stranger as with the natural, if he pronounces the Name, he shall be put to death.
He who blasphemes Yahweh’s name, he shall surely be put to death. All the congregation shall certainly stone him. The foreigner as well as the native-born, when he blasphemes the Name, shall be put to death.
17 L ikewise he that kills any man shall surely be put to death.
“‘He who strikes any man mortally shall surely be put to death.
18 A nd he that kills an animal shall make it good: animal for animal.
He who strikes an animal mortally shall make it good, life for life.
19 A nd if a man causes a blemish in his neighbour; as he has done, so shall it be done to him;
If anyone injures his neighbor; as he has done, so shall it be done to him:
20 b reach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: as he has caused a blemish in a man, so shall it be done to him again.
fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; as he has injured someone, so shall it be done to him.
21 H e that kills an animal shall restore it, but he that kills a man shall be put to death.
He who kills an animal shall make it good; and he who kills a man shall be put to death.
22 Y e shall have one manner of law: as for the stranger, so shall it be for the natural; for I am the LORD your God.
You shall have one kind of law for the foreigner as well as the native-born; for I am Yahweh your God.’”
23 A nd Moses spoke to the sons of Israel that they should bring forth the one that had blasphemed out of the camp and stone him with stones. And the sons of Israel did as the LORD commanded Moses.
Moses spoke to the children of Israel; and they brought out him who had cursed out of the camp, and stoned him with stones. The children of Israel did as Yahweh commanded Moses.
