1 I am the man that hath seen affliction by the rod of his wrath.

我 是 因 耶 和 华 忿 怒 的 杖 ， 遭 遇 困 苦 的 人 。

2 M e hath he led, and brought into darkness, and not into light.

他 引 导 我 ， 使 我 行 在 黑 暗 中 ， 不 行 在 光 明 里 。

3 S urely against me hath he turned again and again his hand all the day.

他 真 是 终 日 再 三 反 手 攻 击 我 。

4 M y flesh and my skin hath he wasted away, he hath broken my bones.

他 使 我 的 皮 肉 枯 乾 ； 他 折 断 （ 或 译 ： 压 伤 ） 我 的 骨 头 。

5 H e hath built against me, and encompassed with gall and toil.

他 筑 垒 攻 击 我 ， 用 苦 楚 （ 原 文 是 苦 胆 ） 和 艰 难 围 困 我 。

6 H e hath made me to dwell in dark places as those that have been long dead.

他 使 我 住 在 幽 暗 之 处 ， 像 死 了 许 久 的 人 一 样 。

7 H e hath hedged me about that I cannot get out: he hath made my chain heavy.

他 用 篱 笆 围 住 我 ， 使 我 不 能 出 去 ； 他 使 我 的 铜 炼 沉 重 。

8 E ven when I cry and shout, he shutteth out my prayer.

我 哀 号 求 救 ； 他 使 我 的 祷 告 不 得 上 达 。

9 H e hath inclosed my ways with hewn stone, he hath made my paths crooked.

他 用 凿 过 的 石 头 挡 住 我 的 道 ； 他 使 我 的 路 弯 曲 。

10 H e is unto me a bear lying in wait, a lion in secret places.

他 向 我 如 熊 埋 伏 ， 如 狮 子 在 隐 密 处 。

11 H e hath turned aside my ways, and pulled me in pieces; he hath made me desolate.

他 使 我 转 离 正 路 ， 将 我 撕 碎 ， 使 我 凄 凉 。

12 H e hath bent his bow, and set me as a mark for the arrow.

他 张 弓 将 我 当 作 箭 靶 子 。

13 H e hath caused the arrows of his quiver to enter into my reins.

他 把 箭 袋 中 的 箭 射 入 我 的 肺 腑 。

14 I am become a derision to all my people; their song all the day.

我 成 了 众 民 的 笑 话 ； 他 们 终 日 以 我 为 歌 曲 。

15 H e hath sated me with bitterness, he hath made me drunk with wormwood.

他 用 苦 楚 充 满 我 ， 使 我 饱 用 茵 ? 。

16 H e hath also broken my teeth with gravel stones, he hath covered me with ashes.

他 又 用 沙 石 碜 断 我 的 牙 ， 用 灰 尘 将 我 蒙 蔽 。

17 A nd thou hast removed my soul far off from peace: I have forgotten prosperity.

你 使 我 远 离 平 安 ， 我 忘 记 好 处 。

18 A nd I said, My strength is perished, and my hope in Jehovah.

我 就 说 ： 我 的 力 量 衰 败 ； 我 在 耶 和 华 那 里 毫 无 指 望 ！

19 R emember thou mine affliction and my wandering, the wormwood and the gall.

耶 和 华 啊 ， 求 你 记 念 我 如 茵 ? 和 苦 胆 的 困 苦 窘 迫 。

20 M y soul hath constantly in remembrance, and is humbled in me.

我 心 想 念 这 些 ， 就 在 里 面 忧 闷 。

21 — This I recall to heart, therefore have I hope.

我 想 起 这 事 ， 心 里 就 有 指 望 。

22 I t is of Jehovah's loving-kindness we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not;

我 们 不 致 消 灭 ， 是 出 於 耶 和 华 诸 般 的 慈 爱 ； 是 因 他 的 怜 悯 不 致 断 绝 。

23 t hey are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

每 早 晨 ， 这 都 是 新 的 ； 你 的 诚 实 极 其 广 大 ！

24 J ehovah is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.

我 心 里 说 ： 耶 和 华 是 我 的 分 ， 因 此 ， 我 要 仰 望 他 。

25 J ehovah is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul seeketh him.

凡 等 候 耶 和 华 ， 心 里 寻 求 他 的 ， 耶 和 华 必 施 恩 给 他 。

26 I t is good that one should both wait, and that in silence, for the salvation of Jehovah.

人 仰 望 耶 和 华 ， 静 默 等 候 他 的 救 恩 ， 这 原 是 好 的 。

27 I t is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth:

人 在 幼 年 负 轭 ， 这 原 是 好 的 。

28 H e sitteth solitary and keepeth silence, because he hath laid it upon him;

他 当 独 坐 无 言 ， 因 为 这 是 耶 和 华 加 在 他 身 上 的 。

29 h e putteth his mouth in the dust, if so be there may be hope;

他 当 口 贴 尘 埃 ， 或 者 有 指 望 。

30 h e giveth his cheek to him that smiteth him; he is filled full with reproach.

他 当 由 人 打 他 的 腮 颊 ， 要 满 受 凌 辱 。

31 F or the Lord will not cast off for ever;

因 为 主 必 不 永 远 丢 弃 人 。

32 b ut if he have caused grief, he will have compassion according to the multitude of his loving-kindnesses:

主 虽 使 人 忧 愁 ， 还 要 照 他 诸 般 的 慈 爱 发 怜 悯 。

33 f or he doth not willingly afflict or grieve the children of men.

因 他 并 不 甘 心 使 人 受 苦 ， 使 人 忧 愁 。

34 T o crush under foot all the prisoners of the earth,

人 将 世 上 被 囚 的 踹 （ 原 文 是 压 ） 在 脚 下 ，

35 t o turn aside the right of a man before the face of the Most High,

或 在 至 高 者 面 前 屈 枉 人 ，

36 t o wrong a man in his cause,—will not the Lord see it?

或 在 人 的 讼 事 上 颠 倒 是 非 ， 这 都 是 主 看 不 上 的 。

37 W ho is he that saith, and there cometh to pass, what the Lord hath not commanded?

除 非 主 命 定 ， 谁 能 说 成 就 成 呢 ？

38 O ut of the mouth of the Most High doth not there proceed evil and good?

祸 福 不 都 出 於 至 高 者 的 口 吗 ？

39 W herefore doth a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins?

活 人 因 自 己 的 罪 受 罚 ， 为 何 发 怨 言 呢 ？

40 L et us search and try our ways, and turn again to Jehovah.

我 们 当 深 深 考 察 自 己 的 行 为 ， 再 归 向 耶 和 华 。

41 L et us lift up our heart with hands unto God in the heavens.

我 们 当 诚 心 向 天 上 的 神 举 手 祷 告 。

42 W e have transgressed and have rebelled: thou hast not pardoned.

我 们 犯 罪 背 逆 ， 你 并 不 赦 免 。

43 T hou hast covered thyself with anger, and pursued us; thou hast slain, thou hast not spared.

你 自 被 怒 气 遮 蔽 ， 追 赶 我 们 ； 你 施 行 杀 戮 ， 并 不 顾 惜 。

44 T hou hast covered thyself with a cloud, that prayer should not pass through.

你 以 黑 云 遮 蔽 自 己 ， 以 致 祷 告 不 得 透 入 。

45 T hou hast made us the offscouring and refuse in the midst of the peoples.

你 使 我 们 在 万 民 中 成 为 污 秽 和 渣 滓 。

46 A ll our enemies have opened their mouth against us.

我 们 的 仇 敌 都 向 我 们 大 大 张 口 。

47 F ear and the pit are come upon us, devastation and ruin.

恐 惧 和 陷 坑 ， 残 害 和 毁 灭 ， 都 临 近 我 们 。

48 M ine eye runneth down with streams of water for the ruin of the daughter of my people.

因 我 众 民 遭 的 毁 灭 ， 我 就 眼 泪 下 流 如 河 。

49 M ine eye poureth down, and ceaseth not, without any intermission,

我 的 眼 多 多 流 泪 ， 总 不 止 息 ，

50 t ill Jehovah look down and behold from the heavens.

直 等 耶 和 华 垂 顾 ， 从 天 观 看 。

51 M ine eye affecteth my soul, because of all the daughters of my city.

因 我 本 城 的 众 民 ， 我 的 眼 ， 使 我 的 心 伤 痛 。

52 T hey that are mine enemies without cause have chased me sore like a bird.

无 故 与 我 为 仇 的 追 逼 我 ， 像 追 雀 鸟 一 样 。

53 T hey have cut off my life in a pit, and cast a stone upon me.

他 们 使 我 的 命 在 牢 狱 中 断 绝 ， 并 将 一 块 石 头 抛 在 我 身 上 。

54 W aters streamed over my head; I said, I am cut off.

众 水 流 过 我 头 ， 我 说 ： 我 命 断 绝 了 ！

55 I called upon thy name, Jehovah, out of the lowest pit.

耶 和 华 啊 ， 我 从 深 牢 中 求 告 你 的 名 。

56 T hou hast heard my voice: hide not thine ear at my sighing, at my cry.

你 曾 听 见 我 的 声 音 ； 我 求 你 解 救 ， 你 不 要 掩 耳 不 听 。

57 T hou drewest near in the day that I called upon thee; thou saidst, Fear not.

我 求 告 你 的 日 子 ， 你 临 近 我 ， 说 ： 不 要 惧 怕 ！

58 L ord, thou hast pleaded the cause of my soul, thou hast redeemed my life.

主 啊 ， 你 伸 明 了 我 的 冤 ； 你 救 赎 了 我 的 命 。

59 J ehovah, thou hast seen my wrong: judge thou my cause.

耶 和 华 啊 ， 你 见 了 我 受 的 委 屈 ； 求 你 为 我 伸 冤 。

60 T hou hast seen all their vengeance, all their imaginations against me.

他 们 仇 恨 我 ， 谋 害 我 ， 你 都 看 见 了 。

61 T hou hast heard their reproach, O Jehovah, all their imaginations against me;

耶 和 华 啊 ， 你 听 见 他 们 辱 骂 我 的 话 ， 知 道 他 们 向 我 所 设 的 计 ，

62 t he lips of those that rise up against me and their meditation against me all the day.

并 那 些 起 来 攻 击 我 的 人 口 中 所 说 的 话 ， 以 及 终 日 向 我 所 设 的 计 谋 。

63 B ehold thou their sitting down and their rising up: I am their song.

求 你 观 看 ， 他 们 坐 下 ， 起 来 ， 都 以 我 为 歌 曲 。

64 R ender unto them a recompence, O Jehovah, according to the work of their hands;

耶 和 华 啊 ， 你 要 按 着 他 们 手 所 做 的 向 他 们 施 行 报 应 。

65 g ive them obduracy of heart, thy curse unto them;

你 要 使 他 们 心 里 刚 硬 ， 使 你 的 咒 诅 临 到 他 们 。

66 p ursue them in anger, and destroy them from under the heavens of Jehovah.

你 要 发 怒 追 赶 他 们 ， 从 耶 和 华 的 天 下 除 灭 他 们 。
