1 A nd when they came nigh to Jerusalem, and came to Bethphage, unto the mount of the Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples,

耶 穌 和 門 徒 將 近 耶 路 撒 冷 ， 到 了 伯 法 其 ， 在 橄 欖 山 那 裡 。

2 s aying to them, `Go on to the village over-against you, and immediately ye shall find an ass bound, and a colt with her -- having loosed, bring ye to me;

耶 穌 就 打 發 兩 個 門 徒 ， 對 他 們 說 ： 你 們 往 對 面 村 子 裡 去 ， 必 看 見 一 匹 驢 拴 在 那 裡 ， 還 有 驢 駒 同 在 一 處 ； 你 們 解 開 ， 牽 到 我 這 裡 來 。

3 a nd if any one may say anything to you, ye shall say, that the lord hath need of them, and immediately he will send them.'

若 有 人 對 你 們 說 甚 麼 ， 你 們 就 說 ： 主 要 用 他 。 那 人 必 立 時 讓 你 們 牽 來 。

4 A nd all this came to pass, that it might be fulfilled that was spoken through the prophet, saying,

這 事 成 就 是 要 應 驗 先 知 的 話 ， 說 ：

5 ` Tell ye the daughter of Zion, Lo, thy king doth come to thee, meek, and mounted on an ass, and a colt, a foal of a beast of burden.'

要 對 錫 安 的 居 民 （ 原 文 是 女 子 ） 說 ： 看 哪 ， 你 的 王 來 到 你 這 裡 ， 是 溫 柔 的 ， 又 騎 著 驢 ， 就 是 騎 著 驢 駒 子 。

6 A nd the disciples having gone and having done as Jesus commanded them,

門 徒 就 照 耶 穌 所 吩 咐 的 去 行 ，

7 b rought the ass and the colt, and did put on them their garments, and set upon them;

牽 了 驢 和 驢 駒 來 ， 把 自 己 的 衣 服 搭 在 上 面 ， 耶 穌 就 騎 上 。

8 a nd the very great multitude spread their own garments in the way, and others were cutting branches from the trees, and were strewing in the way,

眾 人 多 半 把 衣 服 鋪 在 路 上 ； 還 有 人 砍 下 樹 枝 來 鋪 在 路 上 。

9 a nd the multitudes who were going before, and who were following, were crying, saying, `Hosanna to the Son of David, blessed is he who is coming in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.'

前 行 後 隨 的 眾 人 喊 著 說 ： 和 散 那 （ 原 有 求 救 的 意 思 ， 在 此 是 稱 頌 的 話 ） 歸 於 大 衛 的 子 孫 ！ 奉 主 名 來 的 是 應 當 稱 頌 的 ！ 高 高 在 上 和 散 那 ！

10 A nd he having entered into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, `Who is this?'

耶 穌 既 進 了 耶 路 撒 冷 ， 合 城 都 驚 動 了 ， 說 ： 這 是 誰 ？

11 A nd the multitudes said, `This is Jesus the prophet, who from Nazareth of Galilee.'

眾 人 說 ： 這 是 加 利 利 拿 撒 勒 的 先 知 耶 穌 。

12 A nd Jesus entered into the temple of God, and did cast forth all those selling and buying in the temple, and the tables of the money-changers he overturned, and the seats of those selling the doves,

耶 穌 進 了 神 的 殿 ， 趕 出 殿 裡 一 切 作 買 賣 的 人 ， 推 倒 兌 換 銀 錢 之 人 的 桌 子 ， 和 賣 鴿 子 之 人 的 凳 子 ；

13 a nd he saith to them, `It hath been written, My house a house of prayer shall be called, but ye did make it a den of robbers.'

對 他 們 說 ： 經 上 記 著 說 ： 我 的 殿 必 稱 為 禱 告 的 殿 ， 你 們 倒 使 他 成 為 賊 窩 了 。

14 A nd there came to him blind and lame men in the temple, and he healed them,

在 殿 裡 有 瞎 子 、 瘸 子 到 耶 穌 跟 前 ， 他 就 治 好 了 他 們. 。

15 a nd the chief priests and the scribes having seen the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, `Hosanna to the Son of David,' were much displeased;

祭 司 長 和 文 士 看 見 耶 穌 所 行 的 奇 事 ， 又 見 小 孩 子 在 殿 裡 喊 著 說 ： 和 散 那 歸 於 大 衛 的 子 孫 ！ 就 甚 惱 怒 ，

16 a nd they said to him, `Hearest thou what these say?' And Jesus saith to them, `Yes, did ye never read, that, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings Thou didst prepare praise?'

對 他 說 ： 這 些 人 所 說 的 ， 你 聽 見 了 麼 ？ 耶 穌 說 ： 是 的 。 經 上 說 你 從 嬰 孩 和 吃 奶 的 口 中 完 全 了 讚 美 的 話 ， 你 們 沒 有 念 過 麼 ？

17 A nd having left them, he went forth out of the city to Bethany, and did lodge there,

於 是 離 開 他 們 ， 出 城 到 伯 大 尼 去 ， 在 那 裡 住 宿 。

18 a nd in the morning turning back to the city, he hungered,

早 晨 回 城 的 時 候 ， 他 餓 了 ，

19 a nd having seen a certain fig-tree on the way, he came to it, and found nothing in it except leaves only, and he saith to it, `No more from thee may fruit be -- to the age;' and forthwith the fig-tree withered.

看 見 路 旁 有 一 棵 無 花 果 樹 ， 就 走 到 跟 前 ， 在 樹 上 找 不 著 甚 麼 ， 不 過 有 葉 子 ， 就 對 樹 說 ： 從 今 以 後 ， 你 永 不 結 果 子 。 那 無 花 果 樹 就 立 刻 枯 乾 了 。

20 A nd the disciples having seen, did wonder, saying, `How did the fig-tree forthwith wither?'

門 徒 看 見 了 ﹐ 便 希 奇 說 ： 無 花 果 樹 怎 麼 立 刻 枯 乾 了 呢 ？

21 A nd Jesus answering said to them, `Verily I say to you, If ye may have faith, and may not doubt, not only this of the fig-tree shall ye do, but even if to this mount ye may say, Be lifted up and be cast into the sea, it shall come to pass;

耶 穌 回 答 說 ： 我 實 在 告 訴 你 們 ， 你 們 若 有 信 心 ， 不 疑 惑 ， 不 但 能 行 無 花 果 樹 上 所 行 的 事 ， 就 是 對 這 座 山 說 ： 你 挪 開 此 地 ， 投 在 海 裡 ！ 也 必 成 就 。

22 a nd all -- as much as ye may ask in the prayer, believing, ye shall receive.'

你 們 禱 告 ， 無 論 求 甚 麼 ， 只 要 信 ， 就 必 得 著 。

23 A nd he having come to the temple, there came to him when teaching the chief priests and the elders of the people, saying, `By what authority dost thou do these things? and who gave thee this authority?'

耶 穌 進 了 殿 ， 正 教 訓 人 的 時 候 ， 祭 司 長 和 民 間 的 長 老 來 問 他 說 ： 你 仗 著 甚 麼 權 柄 做 這 些 事 ？ 給 你 這 權 柄 的 是 誰 呢 ？

24 A nd Jesus answering said to them, `I will ask you -- I also -- one word, which if ye may tell me, I also will tell you by what authority I do these things;

耶 穌 回 答 說 ： 我 也 要 問 你 們 一 句 話 ， 你 們 若 告 訴 我 ， 我 就 告 訴 你 們 我 仗 著 甚 麼 權 柄 做 這 些 事 。

25 t he baptism of John, whence was it? -- from heaven, or from men?' And they were reasoning with themselves, saying, `If we should say, From heaven; he will say to us, Wherefore, then, did ye not believe him?

約 翰 的 洗 禮 是 從 那 裡 來 的 ？ 是 從 天 上 來 的 ？ 是 從 人 間 來 的 呢 ？ 他 們 彼 此 商 議 說 ： 我 們 若 說 從 天 上 來 ， 他 必 對 我 們 說 ： 這 樣 ， 你 們 為 甚 麼 不 信 他 呢 ？

26 a nd if we should say, From men, we fear the multitude, for all hold John as a prophet.'

若 說 從 人 間 來 ， 我 們 又 怕 百 姓 ， 因 為 他 們 都 以 約 翰 為 先 知 。

27 A nd answering Jesus they said, `We have not known.' He said to them -- he also -- `Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.

於 是 回 答 耶 穌 說 ： 我 們 不 知 道 。 耶 穌 說 ： 我 也 不 告 訴 你 們 我 仗 著 甚 麼 權 柄 做 這 些 事 。

28 ` And what think ye? A man had two children, and having come to the first, he said, Child, go, to-day be working in my vineyard.'

又 說 ： 一 個 人 有 兩 個 兒 子 。 他 來 對 大 兒 子 說 ： 我 兒 ， 你 今 天 到 葡 萄 園 裡 去 做 工 。

29 A nd he answering said, `I will not,' but at last, having repented, he went.

他 回 答 說 ： 我 不 去 ， 以 後 自 己 懊 悔 ， 就 去 了 。

30 ` And having come to the second, he said in the same manner, and he answering said, I, sir, and went not;

又 來 對 小 兒 子 也 是 這 樣 說 。 他 回 答 說 ： 父 阿 ， 我 去 ， 他 卻 不 去 。

31 w hich of the two did the will of the father?' They say to him, `The first.' Jesus saith to them, `Verily I say to you, that the tax-gatherers and the harlots do go before you into the reign of God,

你 們 想 ， 這 兩 個 兒 子 是 那 一 個 遵 行 父 命 呢 ？ 他 們 說 ： 大 兒 子 。 耶 穌 說 ： 我 實 在 告 訴 你 們 ， 稅 吏 和 娼 妓 倒 比 你 們 先 進 神 的 國 。

32 f or John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye did not believe him, and the tax-gatherers and the harlots did believe him, and ye, having seen, repented not at last -- to believe him.

因 為 約 翰 遵 著 義 路 到 你 們 這 裡 來 ， 你 們 卻 不 信 他 ； 稅 吏 和 娼 妓 倒 信 他 。 你 們 看 見 了 ， 後 來 還 是 不 懊 悔 去 信 他 。

33 ` Hear ye another simile: There was a certain man, a householder, who planted a vineyard, and did put a hedge round it, and digged in it a wine-press, and built a tower, and gave it out to husbandmen, and went abroad.

你 們 再 聽 一 個 比 喻 ： 有 個 家 主 栽 了 一 個 葡 萄 園 ， 周 圍 圈 上 籬 笆 ， 裡 面 挖 了 一 個 壓 酒 池 ， 蓋 了 一 座 樓 ， 租 給 園 戶 ， 就 往 外 國 去 了 。

34 ` And when the season of the fruits came nigh, he sent his servants unto the husbandmen, to receive the fruits of it,

收 果 子 的 時 候 近 了 ， 就 打 發 僕 人 到 園 戶 那 裡 去 收 果 子 。

35 a nd the husbandmen having taken his servants, one they scourged, and one they killed, and one they stoned.

園 戶 拿 住 僕 人 ， 打 了 一 個 ， 殺 了 一 個 ， 用 石 頭 打 死 一 個 。

36 ` Again he sent other servants more than the first, and they did to them in the same manner.

主 人 又 打 發 別 的 僕 人 去 ， 比 先 前 更 多 ； 園 戶 還 是 照 樣 待 他 們 。

37 ` And at last he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son;

後 來 打 發 他 的 兒 子 到 他 們 那 裡 去 ， 意 思 說 ： 他 們 必 尊 敬 我 的 兒 子 。

38 a nd the husbandmen having seen the son, said among themselves, This is the heir, come, we may kill him, and may possess his inheritance;

不 料 ， 園 戶 看 見 他 兒 子 ， 就 彼 此 說 ： 這 是 承 受 產 業 的 。 來 罷 ， 我 們 殺 他 ， 佔 他 的 產 業 ！

39 a nd having taken him, they cast out of the vineyard, and killed him;

他 們 就 拿 住 他 ， 推 出 葡 萄 園 外 ， 殺 了 。

40 w henever therefore the lord of the vineyard may come, what will he do to these husbandmen?'

園 主 來 的 時 候 要 怎 樣 處 治 這 些 園 戶 呢 ？

41 T hey say to him, `Evil men -- he will evilly destroy them, and the vineyard will give out to other husbandmen, who will give back to him the fruits in their seasons.'

他 們 說 ： 要 下 毒 手 除 滅 那 些 惡 人 ， 將 葡 萄 園 另 租 給 那 按 著 時 候 交 果 子 的 園 戶 。

42 J esus saith to them, `Did ye never read in the Writings, A stone that the builders disallowed, it became head of a corner; from the Lord hath this come to pass, and it is wonderful in our eyes.

耶 穌 說 ： 經 上 寫 著 ： 匠 人 所 棄 的 石 頭 已 作 了 房 角 的 頭 塊 石 頭 。 這 是 主 所 做 的 ， 在 我 們 眼 中 看 為 希 奇 。 這 經 你 們 沒 有 念 過 麼 ？

43 ` Because of this I say to you, that the reign of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth its fruit;

所 以 我 告 訴 你 們 ， 神 的 國 必 從 你 們 奪 去 ， 賜 給 那 能 結 果 子 的 百 姓 。

44 a nd he who is falling on this stone shall be broken, and on whomsoever it may fall it will crush him to pieces.'

誰 掉 在 這 石 頭 上 ， 必 要 跌 碎 ； 這 石 頭 掉 在 誰 的 身 上 ， 就 要 把 誰 砸 得 稀 爛 。

45 A nd the chief priests and the Pharisees having heard his similes, knew that of them he speaketh,

祭 司 長 和 法 利 賽 人 聽 見 他 的 比 喻 ， 就 看 出 他 是 指 著 他 們 說 的 。

46 a nd seeking to lay hold on him, they feared the multitudes, seeing they were holding him as a prophet.

他 們 想 要 捉 拿 他 ， 只 是 怕 眾 人 ， 因 為 眾 人 以 他 為 先 知 。
