1 Е то потомството на Ноевите синове, Сима, Хама и Яфета; че и на тях се родиха синове след потопа.

Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, namely, of Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood.

2 Я фетови синове: Гомер, Магог, Мадай, Яван, Тувал, Мосох и Тирас.

The sons of Japheth: Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.

3 А Гомерови синове: Асханаз, Рифат и Тогарма.

And the sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.

4 А Яванови синове: Елисей, Тарсис, Китим и Доданим.

And the sons of Javan: Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.

5 О т тях се разделиха островите на народите, в техните земи, всеки според езика си, според племето си, в народите си.

Of these were the isles of the nations divided in their lands, every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.

6 Х амови синове: Хус, Мицраим, Фут и Ханаан.

And the sons of Ham: Cush, and Mizraim, and Put, and Canaan.

7 А Хусови синове: Сева, Евила, Савта, Раама и Савтека; а Раамови синове: Шева и Дедан.

And the sons of Cush: Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabteca; and the sons of Raamah: Sheba, and Dedan.

8 Х ус роди и Нимрода. Той пръв стана силен на земята.

And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.

9 Т ой беше голям ловец пред Господа; затова се казва: Като Нимрода, голям ловец пред Господа.

He was a mighty hunter before Jehovah: wherefore it is said, Like Nimrod a mighty hunter before Jehovah.

10 П ърво той царува над Вавилон Ерех, Акад и Халне, в Сенаарската земя.

And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.

11 О т тая земя излезе <и отиде> в Асирия, та съгради Ниневия, Роовот-Ир, Халах

Out of that land he went forth into Assyria, and builded Nineveh, and Rehoboth-ir, and Calah,

12 и Ресен между Ниневия и Халах (който е големият град).

and Resen between Nineveh and Calah (the same is the great city).

13 А Мицраим роди Лудим, Анамим, Леавим, Нафтухим,

And Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,

14 П атрусим, Каслухим (от които произлязоха филистимците) и Кафторим.

and Pathrusim, and Casluhim (whence went forth the Philistines), and Caphtorim.

15 А Ханаан роди: първородния си <син> Сидон, <после> Хет,

And Canaan begat Sidon his first-born, and Heth,

16 е вусейците, аморейците, гергесейците,

and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,

17 е вейците, арукейците, асенейците,

and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,

18 а рвадците, цемарейците и аматейците; и след това ханаанските племена се пръснаха.

and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite: and afterward were the families of the Canaanite spread abroad.

19 П ределът на ханаанците беше от Сидон, като се отива за Герар до Газа, и като се отива за Содом и Гомор, Адма и Цевоим до Лаша.

And the border of the Canaanite was from Sidon, as thou goest toward Gerar, unto Gaza; as thou goest toward Sodom and Gomorrah and Admah and Zeboiim, unto Lasha.

20 Т ия са Хамовите синове в земите си, в народите си, според племената си, според езиците си.

These are the sons of Ham, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, in their nations.

21 Р одиха се тъй също чада на Сима, баща на всичките Еверовци и по-стар брат на Яфета.

And unto Shem, the father of all the children of Eber, the elder brother of Japheth, to him also were children born.

22 С имови синове: Елам, Асур, Арфаксад, Луд и Арам.

The sons of Shem: Elam, and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram.

23 А Арамови синове: Уз, Ул, Гетер и Маш.

And the sons of Aram: Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash.

24 И Арфаксад роди Сала, а Сала роди Евера.

And Arpachshad begat Shelah; and Shelah begat Eber.

25 И на Евера се родиха двама сина; името на единия беше Фалек {Т.е., Разделение.}, защото в неговите дни се разпредели земята; а името на брата му беше Иоктан.

And unto Eber were born two sons: The name of the one was Peleg. For in his days was the earth divided. And his brother's name was Joktan.

26 И октан роди Алмодада, Шалефа, Хацармавета, Яраха.

And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,

27 А дорама, Узала, Дикла,

and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,

28 О вала, Авимаила, Шева,

and Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba,

29 О фира, Евила и Иовава; всички тия бяха Иоктанови синове.

and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab: all these were the sons of Joktan.

30 Т ехните поселения бяха от Меша, като се отива за Сефар, източната планина.

And their dwelling was from Mesha, as thou goest toward Sephar, the mountain of the east.

31 Т ия са Симовите синове в земите си, според племената си, според езиците си, според народите си.

These are the sons of Shem, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, after their nations.

32 Т ия са племената на Ноевите синове според поколенията им, в народите им; и от тях се отделиха народите по земята след потопа.

These are the families of the sons of Noah, after their generations, in their nations: and of these were the nations divided in the earth after the flood.
