2 T ake a census of all the congregation of the Israelites from twenty years old and upward, by their fathers’ houses, all in Israel able to go to war.

你 們 要 將 以 色 列 全 會 眾 ， 按 他 們 的 宗 族 ， 凡 以 色 列 中 從 二 十 歲 以 外 、 能 出 去 打 仗 的 ， 計 算 總 數 。

3 A nd Moses and Eleazar the priest told in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho,

摩 西 和 祭 司 以 利 亞 撒 在 摩 押 平 原 與 耶 利 哥 相 對 的 約 但 河 邊 向 以 色 列 人 說 ：

4 A census of the people shall be taken from twenty years old and upward, as the Lord commanded Moses. And the Israelites who came forth out of the land of Egypt were:

將 你 們 中 間 從 二 十 歲 以 外 的 計 算 總 數 ； 是 照 耶 和 華 吩 咐 出 埃 及 地 的 摩 西 和 以 色 列 人 的 話 。

5 R euben, the firstborn of Israel, the sons of Reuben: of Hanoch, the family of the Hanochites; of Pallu, the family of the Palluites;

以 色 列 的 長 子 是 流 便 。 流 便 的 眾 子 ： 屬 哈 諾 的 ， 有 哈 諾 族 ； 屬 法 路 的 ， 有 法 路 族 ；

6 O f Hezron, the family of the Hezronites; of Carmi, the family of the Carmites.

屬 希 斯 倫 的 ， 有 希 斯 倫 族 ； 屬 迦 米 的 ， 有 迦 米 族 ；

7 T hese are the families of the Reubenites; and their number was 43, 730.

這 就 是 流 便 的 各 族 ； 其 中 被 數 的 ， 共 有 四 萬 三 千 七 百 三 十 名 。

8 A nd the son of Pallu: Eliab.

法 路 的 兒 子 是 以 利 押 。

9 T he sons of Eliab: Nemuel, Dathan, and Abiram. These are the Dathan and Abiram chosen from the congregation who contended against Moses and Aaron in the company of Korah when they contended against the Lord.

以 利 押 的 眾 子 是 尼 母 利 、 大 坍 、 亞 比 蘭 。 這 大 坍 、 亞 比 蘭 ， 就 是 從 會 中 選 召 的 ， 與 可 拉 一 黨 同 向 耶 和 華 爭 鬧 的 時 候 也 向 摩 西 、 亞 倫 爭 鬧 ；

10 A nd the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up together with Korah, when that company died and the fire devoured 250 men; and they became a sign.

按 著 家 族 ， 迦 得 的 眾 子 ： 屬 洗 分 的 ， 有 洗 分 族 ； 屬 哈 基 的 ， 有 哈 基 族 ； 屬 書 尼 的 ， 有 書 尼 族 ；

16 O f Ozni, the family of the Oznites; of Eri, the family of the Erites;

屬 阿 斯 尼 的 ， 有 阿 斯 尼 族 ； 屬 以 利 的 ， 有 以 利 族 ；

屬 亞 律 的 ， 有 亞 律 族 ； 屬 亞 列 利 的 ， 有 亞 列 利 族 。

18 T hese, the families of the sons of Gad according to their numbering, totaled 40, 500.

這 就 是 迦 得 子 孫 的 各 族 ， 照 他 們 中 間 被 數 的 ， 共 有 四 萬 零 五 百 名 。

19 T he sons of Judah were Er and Onan, but Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan.

猶 大 的 兒 子 是 珥 和 俄 南 。 這 珥 和 俄 南 死 在 迦 南 地 。

20 A nd the sons of Judah according to their families were: of Shelah, the family of the Shelanites; of Perez, the family of the Perezites; of Zerah, the family of the Zerahites.

21 A nd the sons of Perez were: of Hezron, the family of the Hezronites; of Hamul, the family of the Hamulites.

法 勒 斯 的 兒 子 ： 屬 希 斯 倫 的 ， 有 希 斯 倫 族 ； 屬 哈 母 勒 的 ， 有 哈 母 勒 族 。

這 就 是 猶 大 的 各 族 ， 照 他 們 中 間 被 數 的 ， 共 有 七 萬 六 千 五 百 名 。

23 T he sons of Issachar after their families: of Tola, the family of the Tolaites; of Puvah, the family of the Punites;

按 著 家 族 ， 以 薩 迦 的 眾 子 ： 屬 陀 拉 的 ， 有 陀 拉 族 ； 屬 普 瓦 的 ， 有 普 瓦 族 ；

屬 雅 述 的 ， 有 雅 述 族 ； 屬 伸 崙 的 ， 有 伸 崙 族 。

這 就 是 以 薩 迦 的 各 族 ， 照 他 們 中 間 被 數 的 ， 共 有 六 萬 四 千 三 百 名 。

這 就 是 西 布 倫 的 各 族 ， 照 他 們 中 間 被 數 的 ， 共 有 六 萬 零 五 百 名 。

28 T he sons of Joseph after their families were Manasseh and Ephraim.

按 著 家 族 ， 約 瑟 的 兒 子 有 瑪 拿 西 、 以 法 蓮 。

29 T he sons of Manasseh: of Machir, the family of the Machirites (and Machir was the father of Gilead); of Gilead, the family of the Gileadites.

瑪 拿 西 的 眾 子 ： 屬 瑪 吉 的 ， 有 瑪 吉 族 ； 瑪 吉 生 基 列 ； 屬 基 列 的 ， 有 基 列 族 。

32 O f Shemida, the family of the Shemidaites; and of Hepher, the family of the Hepherites.

屬 示 米 大 的 ， 有 示 米 大 族 ； 屬 希 弗 的 ， 有 希 弗 族 ； 。

33 Z elophehad son of Hepher had no sons, but only daughters, and their names were Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.

希 弗 的 兒 子 西 羅 非 哈 沒 兒 子 ， 只 有 女 兒 。 西 羅 非 哈 女 兒 的 名 字 就 是 瑪 拉 、 挪 阿 、 曷 拉 、 密 迦 、 得 撒 。

34 T hese are the families of Manasseh, and their number was 52, 700.

這 就 是 瑪 拿 西 的 各 族 ； 他 們 中 間 被 數 的 ， 共 有 五 萬 二 千 七 百 名 。

35 T hese are the sons of Ephraim according to their families: of Shuthelah, the family of the Shuthelahites; of Becher, the family of the Becherites; of Tahan, the family of the Tahanites.

按 著 家 族 ， 以 法 蓮 的 眾 子 ： 屬 書 提 拉 的 ， 有 書 提 拉 族 ； 屬 比 結 的 ， 有 比 結 族 ； 屬 他 罕 的 ， 有 他 罕 族 。

36 A nd these are the sons of Shuthelah: of Eran, the family of the Eranites.

書 提 拉 的 眾 子 ： 屬 以 蘭 的 ， 有 以 蘭 族 。

37 T hese, the families of the sons of Ephraim according to their number, totaled 32, 500. These are the sons of Joseph after their families.

這 就 是 以 法 蓮 子 孫 的 各 族 ， 照 他 們 中 間 被 數 的 ， 共 有 三 萬 二 千 五 百 名 。 按 著 家 族 ， 這 都 是 約 瑟 的 子 孫 。

38 T he sons of Benjamin according to their families: of Bela, the family of the Belaites; of Ashbel, the family of the Ashbelites; of Ahiram, the family of the Ahiramites;

按 著 家 族 ， 便 雅 憫 眾 子 ， 屬 比 拉 的 ， 有 比 拉 族 ； 屬 亞 實 別 的 ， 有 亞 實 別 族 ； 屬 亞 希 蘭 的 ， 有 亞 希 蘭 族 ；

比 拉 的 眾 子 是 亞 勒 、 乃 幔 。 屬 亞 勒 的 ， 有 亞 勒 族 ； 屬 乃 幔 的 ， 有 乃 幔 族 。

41 T hese are the sons of Benjamin according to their families; and their number was 45, 600.

按 著 家 族 ， 這 就 是 便 雅 憫 的 子 孫 ， 其 中 被 數 的 ， 共 有 四 萬 五 千 六 百 名 。

42 T hese are the sons of Dan according to their families: of Shuham, the family of the Shuhamites. These are the families of Dan according to their families.

按 著 家 族 ， 但 的 眾 子 ： 屬 書 含 的 ， 有 書 含 族 。 按 著 家 族 ， 這 就 是 但 的 各 族 。

43 A ll the families of the Shuhamites according to their number were 64, 400.

照 其 中 被 數 的 ， 書 含 所 有 的 各 族 ， 共 有 六 萬 四 千 四 百 名 。

44 O f the sons of Asher according to their families: of Imnah, the family of the Imnites; of Ishvi, the family of the Ishvites; of Beriah, the family of the Beriites.

按 著 家 族 ， 亞 設 的 眾 子 ： 屬 音 拿 的 ， 有 音 拿 族 ； 屬 亦 施 韋 的 ， 有 亦 施 韋 族 ； 屬 比 利 亞 的 ， 有 比 利 亞 族 。

45 O f the sons of Beriah: of Heber, the family of the Heberites; of Malchiel, the family of the Malchielites.

比 利 亞 的 眾 子 ： 屬 希 別 的 ， 有 希 別 族 ； 屬 瑪 結 的 ， 有 瑪 結 族 。

46 A nd the name of the daughter of Asher was Serah.

亞 設 的 女 兒 名 叫 西 拉 。

47 T hese, the families of the sons of Asher according to their number, totaled 53, 400.

這 就 是 亞 設 子 孫 的 各 族 ， 照 他 們 中 間 被 數 的 ， 共 有 五 萬 三 千 四 百 名 。

48 O f the sons of Naphtali after their families: of Jahzeel, the family of the Jahzeelites; of Guni, the family of the Gunites;

按 著 家 族 ， 拿 弗 他 利 的 眾 子 ： 屬 雅 薛 的 ， 有 雅 薛 族 ； 屬 沽 尼 的 ， 有 沽 尼 族 ；

49 O f Jezer, the family of the Jezerites; of Shillem, the family of the Shillemites.

屬 耶 色 的 ， 有 耶 色 族 ； 屬 示 冷 的 ， 有 示 冷 族 。

50 T hese are the families of Naphtali according to their families; and their number totaled 45, 400.

按 著 家 族 ， 這 就 是 拿 弗 他 利 的 各 族 ； 他 們 中 間 被 數 的 ， 共 有 四 萬 五 千 四 百 名 。

51 T his was the number of the Israelites, 601, 730.

以 色 列 人 中 被 數 的 ， 共 有 六 十 萬 零 一 千 七 百 三 十 名 。

52 A nd the Lord said to Moses,

耶 和 華 曉 諭 摩 西 說 ：

53 T o these the land shall be divided for inheritance according to the number of names.

你 要 按 著 人 名 的 數 目 將 地 分 給 這 些 人 為 業 。

54 T o a larger tribe you shall give the greater inheritance, and to a small tribe the less inheritance; to each tribe shall its inheritance be given according to its numbers.

人 多 的 ， 你 要 把 產 業 多 分 給 他 們 ； 人 少 的 ， 你 要 把 產 業 少 分 給 他 們 ； 要 照 被 數 的 人 數 ， 把 產 業 分 給 各 人 。

55 B ut the land shall be divided by lot; according to the names of the tribes of their fathers they shall inherit.

雖 是 這 樣 ， 還 要 拈 鬮 分 地 。 他 們 要 按 著 祖 宗 各 支 派 的 名 字 承 受 為 業 。

56 A ccording to the lot shall their inheritance be divided between the larger and the smaller.

要 按 著 所 拈 的 鬮 ， 看 人 數 多 ， 人 數 少 ， 把 產 業 分 給 他 們 。

57 A nd these were numbered of the Levites according to their families: of Gershon, the family of the Gershonites; of Kohath, the family of the Kohathites; of Merari, the family of the Merarites.

利 未 人 ， 按 著 他 們 的 各 族 被 數 的 ： 屬 革 順 的 ， 有 革 順 族 ； 屬 哥 轄 的 ， 有 哥 轄 族 ； 屬 米 拉 利 的 ， 有 米 拉 利 族 。

58 T hese are the families of Levi: the family of the Libnites, the family of the Hebronites, the family of the Mahlites, the family of the Mushites, the family of the Korahites. And Kohath was the father of Amram.

利 未 的 各 族 有 立 尼 族 、 希 伯 倫 族 、 瑪 利 族 、 母 示 族 、 可 拉 族 。 哥 轄 生 暗 蘭 。

59 A mram’s wife was Jochebed daughter of Levi, who was born to Levi in Egypt; and she bore to Amram Aaron, Moses, and Miriam their sister.

暗 蘭 的 妻 名 叫 約 基 別 ， 是 利 未 女 子 ， 生 在 埃 及 。 他 給 暗 蘭 生 了 亞 倫 、 摩 西 ， 並 他 們 的 姊 姊 米 利 暗 。

60 A nd to Aaron were born Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

亞 倫 生 拿 答 、 亞 比 戶 、 以 利 亞 撒 、 以 他 瑪 。

61 B ut Nadab and Abihu died when they offered strange and unholy fire before the Lord.

拿 答 、 亞 比 戶 在 耶 和 華 面 前 獻 凡 火 的 時 候 就 死 了 。

62 A nd those numbered of them were 23, 000, every male from a month old and upward; for they were not numbered among the Israelites, because there was no inheritance given them among the Israelites.

利 未 人 中 ， 凡 一 個 月 以 外 、 被 數 的 男 丁 ， 共 有 二 萬 三 千 。 他 們 本 來 沒 有 數 在 以 色 列 人 中 ； 因 為 在 以 色 列 人 中 ， 沒 有 分 給 他 們 產 業 。

63 T hese were those numbered by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who numbered the Israelites in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho.

這 些 就 是 被 摩 西 和 祭 司 以 利 亞 撒 所 數 的 ； 他 們 在 摩 押 平 原 與 耶 利 哥 相 對 的 約 但 河 邊 數 點 以 色 列 人 。

64 B ut among these there was not a man of those numbered by Moses and Aaron the priest when they numbered the Israelites in the Wilderness of Sinai.

但 被 數 的 人 中 ， 沒 有 一 個 是 摩 西 和 祭 司 亞 倫 從 前 在 西 乃 的 曠 野 所 數 的 以 色 列 人 ，

65 F or the Lord had said of them, They shall surely die in the wilderness. There was not left a man of them except Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.

因 為 耶 和 華 論 到 他 們 說 ： 他 們 必 要 死 在 曠 野 。 所 以 ， 除 了 耶 孚 尼 的 兒 子 迦 勒 和 嫩 的 兒 子 約 書 亞 以 外 ， 連 一 個 人 也 沒 有 存 留 。
