1 B ow down thine ear, O Lord, hear me: for I am poor and needy.

Inclina, oh Señor, tu oído y respóndeme, porque estoy afligido y necesitado.

2 P reserve my soul; for I am holy: O thou my God, save thy servant that trusteth in thee.

Guarda mi alma, pues soy piadoso; tú eres mi Dios; salva a tu siervo que en ti confía.

3 B e merciful unto me, O Lord: for I cry unto thee daily.

Ten piedad de mí, oh Señor, porque a ti clamo todo el día.

4 R ejoice the soul of thy servant: for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.

Alegra el alma de tu siervo, porque a ti, oh Señor, elevo mi alma.

5 F or thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.

Pues tú, Señor, eres bueno y perdonador, abundante en misericordia para con todos los que te invocan.

6 G ive ear, O Lord, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications.

Escucha, oh Señor, mi oración, y atiende a la voz de mis súplicas.

7 I n the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me.

En el día de la angustia te invocaré, porque tú me responderás.

8 A mong the gods there is none like unto thee, O Lord; neither are there any works like unto thy works.

No hay nadie como tú entre los dioses, oh Señor, ni hay obras como las tuyas.

9 A ll nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name.

Todas las naciones que tú has hecho vendrán y adorarán delante de ti, Señor, y glorificarán tu nombre.

10 F or thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art God alone.

Porque tú eres grande y haces maravillas; sólo tú eres Dios.

11 T each me thy way, O Lord; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.

Enséñame, oh Señor, tu camino; andaré en tu verdad; unifica mi corazón para que tema tu nombre.

12 I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore.

Te daré gracias, Señor mi Dios, con todo mi corazón, y glorificaré tu nombre para siempre.

13 F or great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell.

Porque grande es tu misericordia para conmigo, y has librado mi alma de las profundidades del Seol.

14 O God, the proud are risen against me, and the assemblies of violent men have sought after my soul; and have not set thee before them.

Oh Dios, los arrogantes se han levantado contra mí, y una banda de violentos ha buscado mi vida, y no te han tenido en cuenta.

15 B ut thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.

Mas tú, Señor, eres un Dios compasivo y lleno de piedad, lento para la ira y abundante en misericordia y fidelidad.

16 O turn unto me, and have mercy upon me; give thy strength unto thy servant, and save the son of thine handmaid.

Vuélvete hacia mí, y tenme piedad; da tu poder a tu siervo, y salva al hijo de tu sierva.

17 S hew me a token for good; that they which hate me may see it, and be ashamed: because thou, Lord, hast holpen me, and comforted me.

Muéstrame una señal de bondad, para que la vean los que me aborrecen y se avergüencen, porque tú, oh Señor, me has ayudado y consolado.
