1 A , ki te kawea e tetahi he whakahere totokore ki a Ihowa, hei te paraoa pai he whakahere mana; a me riringi e ia he hinu ki runga ki taua mea, ka maka hoki i te parakihe ki runga:
¶ And when any person will offer a present unto the LORD, his offering shall be of fine flour; and he shall pour oil upon it and put frankincense thereon;
and he shall bring it to Aaron’s sons the priests, who shall take out a handful of the flour thereof, with its oil, with all its frankincense; and the priest shall incense it upon the altar, to be an offering on fire, of an aroma very acceptable unto the LORD.
3 A , ko te toenga o te whakahere totokore, ma Arona ratou ko ana tama: he mea tino tapu tena i roto i nga whakahere ahi a Ihowa.
And that which is left of the present shall be Aaron’s and his sons’; it is a thing most holy of the offerings on fire of the LORD.
4 A , ki te kawea e koe hei whakahere he whakahere totokore i tunua ki te oumu, hei nga keke paraoa, hei nga mea rewenakore, me konatunatu ki te hinu, hei nga keke angiangi ranei kahore nei he rewena, he mea pani ki te hinu.
And if thou shall offer a present baked in the oven, it shall be unleavened cakes of fine flour mingled with oil and unleavened wafers anointed with oil.
And if thy present is an offering baked in a pan, it shall be of fine flour unleavened, mingled with oil.
6 M e whatiwhati e koe, ka riringi ai ki te hinu: he whakahere totokore tena.
Thou shalt part it in pieces and pour oil thereon; it shall be a present.
7 N a, mehemea he whakahere totokore tau whakahere, he mea i paraipanatia, me hanga ki te paraoa, ki te hinu.
And if thy present is an offering cooked in a pot, it shall be made of fine flour with oil.
And thou shalt bring the present that is made of these things unto the LORD and offer it unto the priest, who shall bring it unto the altar.
And the priest shall take from that present a memorial thereof and shall incense it upon the altar; it shall be an offering on fire, of a very acceptable aroma unto the LORD.
10 A ma Arona ratou ko ana tama te toenga o te whakahere totokore: he mea tino tapu tena i roto i nga whakahere ahi a Ihowa.
And that which is left of the present shall be Aaron’s and his sons’; it is a thing most holy of the offerings on fire of the LORD.
11 K ei hanga ki te rewena tetahi whakahere totokore e kawea ana e koutou ma Ihowa: kei tahuna hoki e koutou he rewena, he honi ranei, i roto i tetahi o nga whakahere ahi a Ihowa.
¶ No present which ye shall offer unto the LORD shall be with leaven; for of nothing leavened, nor any honey, shall ye make any offering incensed unto the LORD.
12 N a, hei whakahere tuapora, me whakahere ena ma Ihowa: otiia e kore e tahuna ki te aata hei kakara reka.
In the offering of the firstfruits ye shall offer them unto the LORD, but they shall not be offered on the altar for an acceptable aroma.
13 M e kinaki ano ki te tote au whakahere totokore katoa ina whakaherea: kei whakamutua hoki te tote o te kawenata a tou Atua mo tau whakahere totokore: me whakahere he tote e koe ki runga i au whakahere katoa.
And every offering of thy present shalt thou season with salt, and thou shalt never allow the salt of the covenant of thy God to be lacking from thy present; with all thine offerings thou shalt offer salt.
And if thou offer a present of thy firstfruits unto the LORD, thou shalt offer for the offering of thy firstfruits green ears of grain dried by the fire, even grain beaten out of full ears.
15 M e riringi ano he hinu ki taua mea, me whakatakoto hoki he parakihe ki runga: he whakahere totokore tena.
And thou shalt put oil upon it and lay frankincense thereon: this shall be a present.
And the priest shall incense the memorial of it, part of the beaten grain thereof, and part of the oil thereof, with all the frankincense thereof: this shall be an offering on fire unto the LORD.
