God be gracious unto us, and bless us, cause his face to shine upon us; Selah,

2 d aß man auf Erden erkenne seinen Weg, unter allen Heiden sein Heil.

That thy way may be known upon earth, thy salvation among all nations.

3 E s danken dir, Gott, die Völker; es danken dir alle Völker.

Let the peoples praise thee, O God, let all the peoples praise thee.

4 D ie Völker freuen sich und jauchzen, daß du die Leute recht richtest und regierest die Leute auf Erden. (Sela.)

Let the nations rejoice and sing for joy: for thou wilt judge the peoples equitably; and the nations upon earth, thou wilt guide them. Selah.

5 E s danken dir, Gott, die Völker; es danken dir alle Völker.

Let the peoples praise thee, O God; let all the peoples praise thee.

6 D as Land gibt sein Gewächs. Es segne uns Gott, unser Gott.

The earth will yield her increase; God, our God, will bless us:

7 E s segne uns Gott, und alle Welt fürchte ihn!

God will bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.
