1 Y ahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

¶ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

2 Speak to the children of Israel, that they take an offering for me. From everyone whose heart makes him willing you shall take my offering.

Speak unto the sons of Israel that they bring me an offering; of every man that gives it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering.

3 T his is the offering which you shall take from them: gold, silver, brass,

And this shall be the offering which ye shall take of them: gold and silver and brass

4 b lue, purple, scarlet, fine linen, goats’ hair,

and blue and purple and scarlet and fine linen and goats’ hair

5 r ams’ skins dyed red, sea cow hides, acacia wood,

and rams’ skins dyed red and badgers’ skins and cedar wood,

6 o il for the light, spices for the anointing oil and for the sweet incense,

7 o nyx stones, and stones to be set for the ephod and for the breastplate.

9 A ccording to all that I show you, the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all of its furniture, even so you shall make it.

According to all that I show thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its vessels, even so shall ye make it.

10 They shall make an ark of acacia wood. Its length shall be two and a half cubits, its width a cubit and a half, and a cubit and a half its height.

¶ And they shall make an ark of cedar wood; two cubits and a half shall be its length, and a cubit and a half its breadth, and a cubit and a half its height.

11 Y ou shall overlay it with pure gold. You shall overlay it inside and outside, and you shall make a gold molding around it.

And thou shalt cover it with pure gold; within and without shalt thou cover it and shalt make upon it a moulding of gold round about.

12 Y ou shall cast four rings of gold for it, and put them in its four feet. Two rings shall be on the one side of it, and two rings on the other side of it.

And thou shalt cast four rings of gold for it and put them in the four corners thereof, and two rings shall be in the one side of it and two rings in the other side of it.

13 Y ou shall make poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold.

And thou shalt make staves of cedar wood and overlay them with gold.

14 Y ou shall put the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark to carry the ark.

And thou shalt put the staves into the rings by the sides of the ark, that the ark may be borne with them.

15 T he poles shall be in the rings of the ark. They shall not be taken from it.

The staves shall be in the rings of the ark; they shall not be taken from it.

16 Y ou shall put the testimony which I shall give you into the ark.

And thou shalt put into the ark the testimony which I shall give thee.

17 Y ou shall make a mercy seat of pure gold. Two and a half cubits shall be its length, and a cubit and a half its width.

And thou shalt make a seat of reconciliation of pure gold; two cubits and a half shall be its length and a cubit and a half its breadth.

18 Y ou shall make two cherubim of hammered gold. You shall make them at the two ends of the mercy seat.

And thou shalt make two cherubim of gold; of beaten work shalt thou make them, in the two ends of the seat of reconciliation.

19 M ake one cherub at the one end, and one cherub at the other end. You shall make the cherubim on its two ends of one piece with the mercy seat.

And make one cherub on the one end and the other cherub on the other end: even of the seat of reconciliation shall ye make the cherubim on the two ends thereof.

20 T he cherubim shall spread out their wings upward, covering the mercy seat with their wings, with their faces toward one another. The faces of the cherubim shall be toward the mercy seat.

And the cherubim shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the seat of reconciliation with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the seat of reconciliation shall the faces of the cherubim be.

21 Y ou shall put the mercy seat on top of the ark, and in the ark you shall put the testimony that I will give you.

And thou shalt put the seat of reconciliation above upon the ark, and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee.

22 T here I will meet with you, and I will tell you from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim which are on the ark of the testimony, all that I command you for the children of Israel.

And there I will meet with thee, and I will speak with thee from above the seat of reconciliation, from between the two cherubim which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the sons of Israel.

23 You shall make a table of acacia wood. Two cubits shall be its length, and a cubit its width, and one and a half cubits its height.

¶ Thou shalt likewise make a table of cedar wood; two cubits shall be its length and a cubit its breadth, and a cubit and a half its height.

24 Y ou shall overlay it with pure gold, and make a gold molding around it.

And thou shalt cover it with pure gold and make a moulding of gold round about it.

25 Y ou shall make a rim of a hand width around it. You shall make a golden molding on its rim around it.

And thou shalt make unto it a border of a handbreadth round about, and thou shalt make a golden moulding to its border round about.

26 Y ou shall make four rings of gold for it, and put the rings in the four corners that are on its four feet.

And thou shalt make for it four rings of gold and put the rings in the four corners that are on the four feet thereof.

27 t he rings shall be close to the rim, for places for the poles to carry the table.

Over against the border shall the rings be for places of the staves to bear the table.

28 Y ou shall make the poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold, that the table may be carried with them.

And thou shalt make the staves of cedar wood and cover them with gold, that the table may be borne with them.

29 Y ou shall make its dishes, its spoons, its ladles, and its bowls to pour out offerings with. You shall make them of pure gold.

And thou shalt make the dishes thereof and spoons thereof and covers thereof and bowls thereof to cover the bread; of pure gold shalt thou make them.

30 Y ou shall set bread of the presence on the table before me always.

And thou shalt set the showbread upon the table before me always.

31 You shall make a lamp stand of pure gold. Of hammered work shall the lamp stand be made, even its base, its shaft, its cups, its buds, and its flowers, shall be of one piece with it.

¶ And thou shalt make a lampstand of pure gold; of beaten work shall the lampstand be made; its base and its branches, its bowls, its knops, and its flowers shall be of the same.

32 T here shall be six branches going out of its sides: three branches of the lamp stand out of its one side, and three branches of the lamp stand out of its other side;

And six branches shall come out of the sides of it, three branches of the lampstand out of the one side and three branches of the lampstand out of the other side,

33 t hree cups made like almond blossoms in one branch, a bud and a flower; and three cups made like almond blossoms in the other branch, a bud and a flower, so for the six branches going out of the lamp stand;

three bowls made like unto almonds with a knop and a flower in one branch, and three bowls made like almonds in the other branch with a knop and a flower; thus in the six branches that come out of the lampstand.

34 a nd in the lamp stand four cups made like almond blossoms, its buds and its flowers;

And in the lampstand shall be four bowls made like unto almonds with their knops and their flowers.

35 a nd a bud under two branches of one piece with it, and a bud under two branches of one piece with it, and a bud under two branches of one piece with it, for the six branches going out of the lamp stand.

And there shall be a knop under two branches of the same, and another knop under two branches of the same, and another knop under two branches of the same, according to the six branches that proceed out of the lampstand.

36 T heir buds and their branches shall be of one piece with it, all of it one beaten work of pure gold.

Their knops and their branches shall be of the same; all of it shall be one beaten work of pure gold.

37 Y ou shall make its lamps seven, and they shall light its lamps to give light to the space in front of it.

And thou shalt make its seven lamps; and they shall light its lamps, that they may give light over against it.

38 I ts snuffers and its snuff dishes shall be of pure gold.

And its tongs, and its snuffdishes, shall be of pure gold.

39 I t shall be made of a talent of pure gold, with all these accessories.

Of a talent of pure gold shall he make it, with all these vessels.

40 S ee that you make them after their pattern, which has been shown to you on the mountain.

And look that thou make them after their pattern, which was showed thee in the mount.
