1 M arkuu dadkii badnaa arkay ayuu buur fuulay, markaasuu fadhiistay oo xertiisa ayaa u timid.

But seeing the crowds, he went up into the mountain, and having sat down, his disciples came to him;

2 K olkaasuu afkiisa kala qaaday oo wax baray, isagoo leh. Kuwa Barakaysan

and, having opened his mouth, he taught them, saying,

3 W axaa barakaysan kuwa xagga ruuxa ka masaakiin ah, waayo, boqortooyada jannada iyagaa leh.

Blessed the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of the heavens.

4 W axaa barakaysan kuwa baroorta, waayo, waa la qalbiqabowjin doonaa.

Blessed they that mourn, for they shall be comforted.

5 W axaa barakaysan kuwa camal qabow, waayo, dhulkay dhaxli doonaan.

Blessed the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.

6 W axaa barakaysan kuwa xaqnimada u gaajaysan oo u harraadsan, waayo, way dhergi doonaan.

Blessed they who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled.

7 W axaa barakaysan kuwa naxariista leh, waayo, waa loo naxariisan doonaa.

Blessed the merciful, for they shall find mercy.

8 W axaa barakaysan kuwa qalbiga ka daahirsan, waayo, Ilaah bay arki doonaan.

Blessed the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

9 W axaa barakaysan kuwa nabadda ka shaqeeyaa, waayo, waxaa loogu yeedhi doonaa wiilashii Ilaah.

Blessed the peace-makers, for they shall be called sons of God.

10 W axaa barakaysan kuwa xaqnimada aawadeed loo silciyo, waayo, boqortooyada jannada iyagaa leh.

Blessed they who are persecuted on account of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of the heavens.

11 W aad barakaysan tihiin goortii laydin caayo, oo laydin silciyo, oo wax walba oo xun oo been ah laydinka sheego aawaday.

Blessed are ye when they may reproach and persecute you, and say every wicked thing against you, lying, for my sake.

12 F arxa oo reyreeya, waayo, jannada abaalgudkiinnu waa ku weyn yahay, waayo, sidaasay u silcin jireen nebiyadii idinka horreeyey. Wixii Laga Bartay Cusbo Iyo Laambad

Rejoice and exult, for your reward is great in the heavens; for thus have they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

13 I dinku waxaad tihiin cusbadii dhulka, laakiin haddii cusbadu dhadhan beesho, maxaa lagu cusbaynayaa? Dabadeed waxba tari mayso in dibadda loo tuuro oo dadku ku tunto maahee.

Ye are the salt of the earth; but if the salt have become insipid, wherewith shall it be salted? It is no longer fit for anything but to be cast out and to be trodden under foot by men.

14 I dinku waxaad tihiin iftiinkii dunida. Magaalo buur ku taallu ma qarsoomi karto.

Ye are the light of the world: a city situated on the top of a mountain cannot be hid.

15 I lays looma shido in la hoos geliyo weel, laakiin waxaa la saaraa meeshii ilayska, oo wuu u iftiimaa kuwa guriga ku jira oo dhan.

Nor do light a lamp and put it under the bushel, but upon the lamp-stand, and it shines for all who are in the house.

16 S idaas oo kale iftiinkiinnu dadka hortiisa ha iftiimo, si ay shuqulladiinna wanaagsan u arkaan, oo ay Aabbihiinna jannada ku jira u ammaanaan. Sharcigii Hore Iyo Sharciga Ciise

Let your light thus shine before men, so that they may see your upright works, and glorify your Father who is in the heavens.

17 H a u malaynina inaan u imid inaan sharciga ama qorniintii nebiyada baabbi'iyo; uma aan iman inaan baabbi'iyo, laakiin waxaan u imid inaan wada oofiyo

Think not that I am come to make void the law or the prophets; I am not come to make void, but to fulfil.

18 R untii waxaan idinku leeyahay, Intaan cirka iyo dhulku idlaan, xaraf ama dhibic keliya ka idlaan mayso sharciga ilaa ay wada noqdaan.

For verily I say unto you, Until the heaven and the earth pass away, one iota or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law till all come to pass.

19 S idaa darteed kii jebiya qaynuunnadan kuwa ugu yar midkood, oo sidaas dadka u bara, waxaa loogu yeedhi doonaa kan uga yar boqortooyadii jannada, laakiin kii yeela oo bara, waxaa loogu yeedhi doonaa kan weyn boqortooyadii jannada.

Whosoever then shall do away with one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of the heavens; but whosoever shall practise and teach, he shall be called great in the kingdom of the heavens.

20 W aayo, waxaan idinku leeyahay, Xaqnimadiinnu haddaanay ka badnaan tan culimmada iyo Farrisiinta, geliba maysaan boqortooyadii jannada. Cadhada Iyo Dhiigqabidda

For I say unto you, that unless your righteousness surpass of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no wise enter into the kingdom of the heavens.

21 W aad maqasheen in kuwii hore lagu yidhi, Waa inaanad dhiig qabin; kii dhiig qabaa wuxuu galabsadaa xukunka.

Ye have heard that it was said to the ancients, Thou shalt not kill; but whosoever shall kill shall be subject to the judgment.

22 L aakiin waxaan idinku leeyahay, Mid walba oo walaalkiis u cadhoodaa wuxuu galabsadaa xukunka, oo kii walaalkiis ku yidhaahda, Nacas yahow, wuxuu galabsadaa in shirka la geeyo, oo kii yidhaahda, Doqon yahow, wuxuu galabsadaa jahannamada dabka ah.

But I say unto you, that every one that is lightly angry with his brother shall be subject to the judgment; but whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be subject to the sanhedrim; but whosoever shall say, Fool, shall be subject to the penalty of the hell of fire.

23 H addaba haddaad hadiyaddaada meesha allabariga keento, oo meeshaas aad ku xusuusatid in walaalkaa wax kuu haysto,

If therefore thou shouldest offer thy gift at the altar, and there shouldest remember that thy brother has something against thee,

24 h adiyaddaada ku dhaaf meeshii allabariga horteeda, tag, oo horta walaalkaa la soo heshii, dabadeed kaalay oo hadiyaddaada bixi.

leave there thy gift before the altar, and first go, be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.

25 D haqso cadowgaaga ula heshii intaad jidka kula socoto, si aan cadowgu xaakinka kuugu dhiibin, xaakinkuna askariga kuugu dhiibin, oo xabsi lagugu tuurin.

Make friends with thine adverse party quickly, whilst thou art in the way with him; lest some time the adverse party deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison.

26 R untii waxaan kugu leeyahay, Halkaas ka soo bixi maysid ilaa aad siisid beesadda ugu dambaysa. Daahirla'aanta

Verily I say to thee, Thou shalt in no wise come out thence till thou hast paid the last farthing.

27 W aad maqasheen in la yidhi, Waa inaanad sinaysan.

Ye have heard that it has been said, Thou shalt not commit adultery.

28 L aakiin waxaan idinku leeyahay, Nin walba oo qof dumar ah damac u eegaa, durba qalbigiisuu kaga sinaystay.

But I say unto you, that every one who looks upon a woman to lust after her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

29 H addii ishaada midig ku xumayso, iska bixi oo iska tuur, waayo, waxaa kuu wanaagsan in xubnahaaga mid kaa lunto intii jidhkaaga oo dhan jahannamada lagu tuuri lahaa.

But if thy right eye be a snare to thee, pluck it out and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members perish, and not thy whole body be cast into hell.

30 G acantaada midig hadday ku xumayso, iska jar oo iska tuur, waayo, waxaa kuu wanaagsan in xubnahaaga mid kaa lunto intii jidhkaaga oo dhan jahannamada geli lahaa.

And if thy right hand be a snare to thee, cut it off and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members perish, and not thy whole body be cast into hell.

31 W axaana la yidhi, Ku alla kii naagtiisa furaa, warqaddii furniinka ha siiyo.

It has been said too, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a letter of divorce.

32 L aakiin waxaan idinku leeyahay, Mid walba oo naagtiisa furaa sababta sinada aawadeed maahee, wuxuu ka dhigayaa inay sinaysato, oo kii guursadaa tii la furayna waa sinaystaa. Dhaaraha Iyo Runsheegidda

But I say unto you, that whosoever shall put away his wife, except for cause of fornication, makes her commit adultery, and whosoever marries one that is put away commits adultery.

33 W eliba waad maqasheen in kuwii hore lagu yidhi, Waa inaanad nidarradaada jebin, laakiin waa inaad Rabbiga u yeeshaa nidarradaada.

Again, ye have heard that it has been said to the ancients, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt render to the Lord what thou hast sworn.

34 L aakiin waxaan idinku leeyahay, Ha dhaaraninaba; jannada ha ku dhaaranina, waayo, waa carshigii Ilaah.

But I say unto you, Do not swear at all; neither by the heaven, because it is throne of God;

35 D hulkana ha ku dhaaranina, waayo, waa meeshuu cagihiisa dhigo; Yeruusaalemna ha ku dhaaranina, waayo, waa magaaladii Boqorkii weynaa.

nor by the earth, because it is footstool of his feet; nor by Jerusalem, because it is city of the great King.

36 M adaxaagana ha ku dhaaran, waayo, tin keliya kama dhigi kartid caddaan ama madow.

Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.

37 L aakiin hadalkiinnu ha ahaado, Haah, haah, maya, maya; wixii intaas ka badan sharkuu ka yimaadaa. Aargudashada

But let your word be Yea, yea; Nay, nay; but what is more than these is from evil.

38 W aad maqasheen in la yidhi, Il il ha loo rido, iligna ilig ha loo rido.

Ye have heard that it has been said, Eye for eye and tooth for tooth.

39 L aakiin waxaan idinku leeyahay, Sharka ha hor istaagina, laakiin ku alla kii dhabanka midig kaa dharbaaxa, kan kalena u jeedi,

But I say unto you, not to resist evil; but whoever shall strike thee on thy right cheek, turn to him also the other;

40 o o kii doonaya inuu ku ashtakeeyo oo khamiiskaaga kaa qaato, maradaadana u daa,

and to him that would go to law with thee and take thy body coat, leave him thy cloak also.

41 o o ku alla kii kugu qasba inaad mayl la socotid, laba la soco.

And whoever will compel thee to go one mile, go with him two.

42 K ii wax kaa barya, sii, oo kii doonaya inuu wax kaa amaahdo ha ka sii jeesan. Jacaylka Iyo Dabeecadda Daahirka Ah

To him that asks of thee give, and from him that desires to borrow of thee turn not away.

43 W aad maqasheen in la yidhi, Waa inaad deriskaaga jeclaatid oo cadowgaaga necbaatid,

Ye have heard that it has been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour and hate thine enemy.

44 l aakiin waxaan idinku leeyahay, Cadowyadiinna jeclaada, u duceeya kuwa idin habaara, wax wanaagsan u sameeya kuwa idin neceb, oo Ilaah u barya kuwa idin caaya oo idin silciya,

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who persecute you,

45 s i aad u ahaataan wiilashii Aabbihiinna jannada ku jira, waayo, qorraxdiisa wuxuu u soo bixiya kuwa xun iyo kuwa wanaagsan, roobna wuu u di'iyaa kuwa xaqa ah iyo kuwa aan xaqa ahaynba.

that ye may be sons of your Father who is in heavens; for he makes his sun rise on evil and good, and sends rain on just and unjust.

46 W aayo, haddaad jeceshihiin kuwa idin jecel, abaalkee baad leedihiin? Cashuurqaadayaashu miyaanay sidaas oo kale samayn?

For if ye should love those who love you, what reward have ye? Do not also the tax-gatherers the same?

47 H addaad salaantaan walaalihiin oo keliya, maxaa dheeraad ah oo aad samaysaan? Dadka kale miyaanay sidaas oo kale samayn?

And if ye should salute your brethren only, what do ye extraordinary? Do not also the Gentiles the same?

48 S aas aawadeed u samaada sida Aabbihiinna jannadu u san yahay.

Be ye therefore perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect.
