Se retorció entre sus pies, quedó tendido; Entre sus pies quedó encorvado; Cayó donde se retorció, y quedó muerto.

28 T hrough the window she looked forth, and cried, The mother of Sisera cried through the lattice, Why is his chariot so long in coming? Why tarry the wheels of his chariots?

La madre de Sísara se asoma a la ventana, Y por entre las celosías a voces dice: ¿Por qué tarda su carro en venir? ¿Por qué las ruedas de sus carros se detienen?

29 H er wise ladies answered her, Yea, she returned answer to herself,

Las más avisadas de sus damas le respondían, Y aun ella se respondía a sí misma:

30 H ave they not found, have they not divided the spoil? A damsel, two damsels to every man; To Sisera a spoil of dyed garments, A spoil of dyed garments embroidered, Of dyed garments embroidered on both sides, on the necks of the spoil?

¿Será que han hallado botín, y lo están repartiendo? A cada uno una doncella, o dos; Las vestiduras de colores para Sísara, Las vestiduras bordadas de colores; La ropa de color bordada de ambos lados, para los jefes de los que tomaron el botín.

31 S o let all thine enemies perish, O Jehovah: But let them that love him be as the sun when he goeth forth in his might. And the land had rest forty years.

Así perezcan todos tus enemigos, oh Jehová; Mas los que te aman, sean como el sol cuando nace con todo su fulgor. Y la tierra reposó cuarenta años.
