1 A nd at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince who standeth for the children of thy people; and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

En aquel tiempo se levantará Miguel, el gran príncipe que está de parte de los hijos de tu pueblo; y será tiempo de angustia, cual nunca lo hubo hasta entonces, desde que existen las naciones; pero en aquel tiempo serán salvados todos los que de tu pueblo se hallen escritos en el libro.

2 A nd many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Y muchos de los que duermen en el polvo de la tierra serán despertados, unos para vida eterna, y otros para vergüenza y confusión perpetua.

3 A nd they that are wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

Los entendidos resplandecerán como el resplandor del firmamento; y los que enseñaron a muchos la justicia, como las estrellas a perpetua eternidad.

4 B ut thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Y tú, Daniel, guarda en secreto las palabras y sella el libro hasta el tiempo del fin. Muchos correrán de aquí para allá, y la ciencia se aumentará.

5 T hen I, Daniel, looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on the brink of the river on this side, and the other on the brink of the river on that side.

Y yo, Daniel, miré, y he aquí otros dos que estaban en pie, el uno a este lado del río, y el otro al otro lado.

6 A nd one said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?

Y dijo uno al varón vestido de lino, que estaba sobre las aguas del río: ¿Cuándo será el cumplimiento de estas maravillas?

7 A nd I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and a half; and when they have made an end of breaking in pieces the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

Y oí al varón vestido de lino, que estaba sobre las aguas del río, el cual alzó su diestra y su siniestra al cielo, y juró por el que vive por los siglos, que será por un tiempo, tiempos, y la mitad de un tiempo. Y cuando se acabe la dispersión del poder del pueblo santo, todas estas cosas serán cumplidas.

8 A nd I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my lord, what shall be the issue of these things?

Y yo oí, mas no entendí. Y dije: Señor mío, ¿cuál será el fin de estas cosas?

9 A nd he said, Go thy way, Daniel; for the words are shut up and sealed till the time of the end.

Él respondió: Anda, Daniel, pues estas palabras están cerradas y selladas hasta el tiempo del fin.

10 M any shall purify themselves, and make themselves white, and be refined; but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand; but they that are wise shall understand.

Muchos serán lavados, y emblanquecidos y purificados; los impíos procederán impíamente, y ninguno de los impíos entenderá, pero los entendidos comprenderán.

11 A nd from the time that the continual burnt-offering shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand and two hundred and ninety days.

Y desde el tiempo en que sea quitado el continuo sacrificio hasta la abominación desoladora, habrá mil doscientos noventa días.

12 B lessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

Bienaventurado el que espere, y llegue a mil trescientos treinta y cinco días.

13 B ut go thou thy way till the end be; for thou shalt rest, and shalt stand in thy lot, at the end of the days.

Y tú caminarás hacia tu fin, y reposarás, y te levantarás para recibir tu heredad al fin de los días.
