1 T he Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

(109-1) ^^Псалом Давида.^^ Сказал Господь Господу моему: седи одесную Меня, доколе положу врагов Твоих в подножие ног Твоих.

2 T he Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

(109-2) Жезл силы Твоей пошлет Господь с Сиона: господствуй среди врагов Твоих.

3 T hy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

(109-3) В день силы Твоей народ Твой готов во благолепии святыни; из чрева прежде денницы подобно росе рождение Твое.

4 T he Lord hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.

(109-4) Клялся Господь и не раскается: Ты священник вовек по чину Мелхиседека.

5 T he Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.

(109-5) Господь одесную Тебя. Он в день гнева Своего поразит царей;

6 H e shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.

(109-6) совершит суд над народами, наполнит трупами, сокрушит голову в земле обширной.

7 H e shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.

(109-7) Из потока на пути будет пить, и потому вознесет главу.
