Исав си взе жена от Ханаанските дъщери: Ада, дъщеря на хетееца Елон; и Оливема, Анаевата дъщеря, внука на евееца Севегон;

3 a nd Bashemath Ishmael’s daughter, sister of Nebajoth.

и Исмаиловата дъщеря Васемата, сестра на Навиота.

4 A nd Adah bare to Esau Eliphaz; and Bashemath bare Reuel;

Ада роди на Исава Елифаза; Васемата роди Рагуила.

5 a nd Aholibamah bare Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah: these are the sons of Esau, which were born unto him in the land of Canaan.

А Оливема роди Еуса, Иеглома и Корея. Тия са синовете на Исава, които му се родиха в Ханаанската земя.

6 A nd Esau took his wives, and his sons, and his daughters, and all the persons of his house, and his cattle, and all his beasts, and all his substance, which he had got in the land of Canaan; and went into the country from the face of his brother Jacob.

А Исав взе жените си, синовете си, дъщерите си и всичките човеци от дома си, добитъка си, всичките си животни и цялото си имущество, което беше придобил в Ханаанската земя, та отиде в една земя далеч от брата си Якова.

7 F or their riches were more than that they might dwell together; and the land wherein they were strangers could not bear them because of their cattle.

Защото имуществото им беше толкова много, щото не можеха да живеят заедно; земята гдето престояваха не можеше да ги побере поради добитъка им.

8 T hus dwelt Esau in mount Seir: Esau is Edom.

И така, Исав се засели на Сиирската поляна. Исав е Едом.

9 A nd these are the generations of Esau the father of the Edomites in mount Seir:

Ето потомството на Исава, праотец на едомците в Сиирската поляна;

10 t hese are the names of Esau’s sons; Eliphaz the son of Adah the wife of Esau, Reuel the son of Bashemath the wife of Esau.

ето имената на Исавовите синове: Елифаз, син от Исавовата жена Ада; Рагуил, син от Исавовата жена Васемата.

11 A nd the sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, and Gatam, and Kenaz.

А синовете на Елифаза бяха: Теман, Омар, Сефо, Готом и Кенез.

12 A nd Timna was concubine to Eliphaz Esau’s son; and she bare to Eliphaz Amalek: these were the sons of Adah Esau’s wife.

А Тамна беше наложница на Исавовия син Елифаза и роди на Елифаза Амалика; тия са синовете от Исавовата жена Ада.

13 A nd these are the sons of Reuel; Nahath, and Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah: these were the sons of Bashemath Esau’s wife.

И ето синовете на Рагуила: Нахат, Зара, Сама и Миза; тия са синовете от Исавовата жена Васемата.

14 A nd these were the sons of Aholibamah, the daughter of Anah the daughter of Zibeon, Esau’s wife: and she bare to Esau Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah.

И ето синовете от Оливема, Анаевата дъщеря, Севегоновата внука, Исавовата жена: тя роди на Исава Еуса, Еглома и Корея.

15 T hese were dukes of the sons of Esau: the sons of Eliphaz the firstborn son of Esau; duke Teman, duke Omar, duke Zepho, duke Kenaz,

Ето първенците на Исавовите синове; синовете на Исавовия първороден Елифаз: главатар Теман, главатар Омар, главатар Сефо, главатар Кенез,

16 d uke Korah, duke Gatam, and duke Amalek: these are the dukes that came of Eliphaz in the land of Edom; these were the sons of Adah.

главатар Корей, главатар Готом, главатар Амалик; тия са главатарите произлезли от Елифаза в Едомската земя; тия са синовете от Ада.

17 A nd these are the sons of Reuel Esau’s son; duke Nahath, duke Zerah, duke Shammah, duke Mizzah: these are the dukes that came of Reuel in the land of Edom; these are the sons of Bashemath Esau’s wife.

И ето синовете на Исавовия син Рагуила; главатар Нахат, главатар Зара, главатар Сама, главатар Миза; тия са главатарите произлезли от Рагуила в Едомската земя; тия са синовете от Исавовата жена Васемата.

18 A nd these are the sons of Aholibamah Esau’s wife; duke Jeush, duke Jaalam, duke Korah: these were the dukes that came of Aholibamah the daughter of Anah, Esau’s wife.

И ето синовете от Исавовата жена Оливема: главатар Еус, главатар Еглом, главатар Корей; тия са главатарите произлезли от Анаевата дъщеря Оливема, Исавовата жена.

19 T hese are the sons of Esau, who is Edom, and these are their dukes.

Тия са синовете на Исава, който е Едом, и тия са главатарите им.

20 T hese are the sons of Seir the Horite, who inhabited the land; Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah,

Ето синовете на Корееца Сиир, които живееха в оная земя: Лотан, Совал, Севегон, Ана,

21 a nd Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan: these are the dukes of the Horites, the children of Seir in the land of Edom.

Дисон, Асар и Дисан; тия са главатарите произлезли от хорейците, Сиировите чада, в Едомската земя.

22 A nd the children of Lotan were Hori and Hemam; and Lotan’s sister was Timna.

А синовете на Лотана бяха Хори и Емам; и Лотанова сестра беше Тамна.

23 A nd the children of Shobal were these; Alvan, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shepho, and Onam.

А ето синовете на Совала: Алван, Манахат, Гевал, Сефо и Онам.

24 A nd these are the children of Zibeon; both Ajah, and Anah: this was that Anah that found the mules in the wilderness, as he fed the asses of Zibeon his father.

И ето синовете на Севегона: Ая и Ана; Ана е тоя, който намери горещите извори в пустинята, като пасеше ослите на баща си Севегона.

25 A nd the children of Anah were these; Dishon, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah.

И ето Анаевите чада: Дисон и Оливема, Анаевата дъщеря.

26 A nd these are the children of Dishon; Hemdan, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.

И ето синовете на Дисона: Амадан, Асван, Итран и Харан.

27 T he children of Ezer are these; Bilhan, and Zaavan, and Akan.

Ето синовете на Асара: Валаан, Заван и Акан.

28 T he children of Dishan are these; Uz, and Aran.

29 T hese are the dukes that came of the Horites; duke Lotan, duke Shobal, duke Zibeon, duke Anah,

Ето главатарите произлезли от хорейците: главатар Лотан, главатар Совал, главатар Севегон, главатар Ана.

30 d uke Dishon, duke Ezer, duke Dishan: these are the dukes that came of Hori, among their dukes in the land of Seir.

Главатар Дисон, главатар Асар, главатар Дисан; тия са произлезлите от хорейците главатари, според главатарствата им в Сиирската земя.

31 A nd these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom, before there reigned any king over the children of Israel.

Ето и царете, които царуваха в Едомската земя, преди да се възцари цар над израилтяните.

32 A nd Bela the son of Beor reigned in Edom: and the name of his city was Dinhabah.

Царува, в Едом, Вела, син на Веора; а името на града му беше Денава.

33 A nd Bela died, and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.

Като умря Вела, възцари се вместо него Иовав, син на Зара, от Восора.

34 A nd Jobab died, and Husham of the land of Temani reigned in his stead.

Като умря Иовав, възцари се вместо него Хусам, от земята на теманците.

35 A nd Husham died, and Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Avith.

Като умря Хусам, възцари се вместо него Адад, син на Вадада, който порази мадиамците на моавското поле; а името на града му беше Авит.

36 A nd Hadad died, and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.

Като умря Адад, възцари се вместо него Самла, от Марсека.

37 A nd Samlah died, and Saul of Rehoboth by the river reigned in his stead.

Като умря Самла, възцари се вместо него Саул, от Роовот, който е при Ефрат.

38 A nd Saul died, and Baal-hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.

Като умря Саул, възцари се вместо него Вааланан, син на Аховора.

39 A nd Baal-hanan the son of Achbor died, and Hadar reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Pau; and his wife’s name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.
