1 O Senhor reina, tremam os povos; ele está entronizado sobre os querubins, estremeça a terra.

The Lord reigneth; let the people tremble: he sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth be moved.

2 O Senhor é grande em Sião, e exaltado acima de todos os povos.

The Lord is great in Zion; and he is high above all the people.

3 L ouvem o teu nome, grande e tremendo; pois é santo.

Let them praise thy great and terrible name; for it is holy.

4 É s Rei poderoso que amas a justiça; estabeleces a eqüidade, executas juízo e justiça em Jacó.

The king's strength also loveth judgment; thou dost establish equity, thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob.

5 E xaltai o Senhor nosso Deus, e prostrai-vos diante do escabelo de seus pés; porque ele é santo.

Exalt ye the Lord our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.

6 M oisés e Arão entre os seus sacerdotes, e Samuel entre os que invocavam o seu nome, clamavam ao Senhor, e ele os ouvia.

Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the Lord, and he answered them.

7 N a coluna de nuvem lhes falava; eles guardavam os seus testemunhos, e os estatutos que lhes dera.

He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.

8 T u os ouviste, Senhor nosso Deus; tu foste para eles um Deus perdoador, embora vingador dos seus atos.

Thou answeredst them, O Lord our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions.

9 E xaltai o Senhor nosso Deus e adorai-o no seu santo monte, porque o Senhor nosso Deus é santo.

Exalt the Lord our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the Lord our God is holy.
