1 Ц арює Господь, і народи тремтять, сидить на Херувимах, і трясеться земля!

The Lord reigneth; let the people tremble: he sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth be moved.

2 В еликий Господь на Сіоні, і піднесений Він над усіма народами!

The Lord is great in Zion; and he is high above all the people.

3 Х ай ім'я Твоє славлять, велике й грізне воно!

Let them praise thy great and terrible name; for it is holy.

4 А сила Царя любить право, справедливість Ти міцно поставив, Ти Якову право та правду вчинив!

The king's strength also loveth judgment; thou dost establish equity, thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob.

5 З величуйте Господа, нашого Бога, і вклоняйтесь підніжкові ніг Його, Він бо Святий!

Exalt ye the Lord our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.

6 М ойсей й Аарон серед священиків Його, а Самуїл серед тих, що кличуть імення Його. Вони кликали до Господа, і Він вислухав їх,

Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the Lord, and he answered them.

7 у стовпі хмари до них говорив. Вони зберігали свідоцтва Його й постанови, що Він дав був для них.

He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.

8 Г осподи, Боже наш, Ти вислуховував їх, Ти був для них Богом вибачливим, але мстився за їхні діла.

Thou answeredst them, O Lord our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions.

9 З величуйте Господа, нашого Бога, і вклоняйтеся перед горою святою Його, бо Святий Господь, Бог наш!

Exalt the Lord our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the Lord our God is holy.
