1 T aas daraaddeed aynu iska dayno ka hadlidda waxyaalihii ugu horreeyey ee Masiix, oo hore aynu ugu soconno kaamilnimada, oo yeynan mar kale dhigin aasaaska ka-toobadkeenidda shuqulladii dhintay, iyo iimaanka xagga Ilaah,

Wherefore leaving the doctrine of the first principles of Christ, let us press on unto perfection; not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,

2 i yo waxbaridda baabtiisyada, iyo gacmo-dul-saaridda, iyo sarakicidda kuwii dhintay, iyo xukunka weligiis ah.

of the teaching of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

3 O o tan waynu samayn doonnaa haddii Ilaah idmo.

And this will we do, if God permit.

4 K uwii mar loo iftiimiyey, oo hadiyaddii jannada dhadhamiyey, oo laga dhigay kuwa ka qayb galay Ruuxa Quduuskaa,

For as touching those who were once enlightened and tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit,

5 o o dhadhamiyey eraygii wanaagsanaa ee Ilaah iyo xoogagga wakhtiga iman doona,

and tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the age to come,

6 o o dabadeedna dhacay, ma suurtowdo in loo cusboonaysiiyo toobadkeenidda, iyagoo mar kale Wiilka Ilaah iskutallaabta isugu qodbaya oo bayaan u ceebaynaya.

and then fell away, it is impossible to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

7 W aayo, dhulka cabbay roobka marar badan ku dul da'a, oo u soo saara geedo u wanaagsan kuwii beeray, wuxuu Ilaah ka helaa barako,

For the land which hath drunk the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them for whose sake it is also tilled, receiveth blessing from God:

8 l aakiin hadduu dhalo qodxan iyo yamaarug, waxtar ma leh, oo habaar buu ku dhow yahay, ugudambaystiisana waa in la gubaa.

but if it beareth thorns and thistles, it is rejected and nigh unto a curse; whose end is to be burned.

9 L aakiin gacaliyayaalow, wax ka wanaagsan oo idinku saabsan ayaa lana aaminsiiyey iyo waxyaalaha badbaadada, in kastoo aannu sidan u hadalnay.

But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak:

10 W aayo, Ilaah ma xaqdarra, mana illoobo shuqulkiinna iyo jacaylka aad magiciisa u qabtaan, maxaa yeelay, quduusiinta ayaad u adeegteen oo weli waad u adeegtaan.

for God is not unrighteous to forget your work and the love which ye showed toward his name, in that ye ministered unto the saints, and still do minister.

11 O o annagu waxaannu jecel nahay in midkiin kastaa muujiyo dadaalkaas oo kale tan iyo hubaasha rajada ilaa ugu dambaysta,

And we desire that each one of you may show the same diligence unto the fulness of hope even to the end:

12 i naydnaan caajisiin noqon laakiin aad noqotaan kuwo ku dayda kuwa rumaysadka iyo dulqaadashada ku dhaxla ballamada. Waxa Ilaah Ballanqaaday Waa Hubaal

that ye be not sluggish, but imitators of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

13 M arkii Ilaah ballan u qaaday Ibraahim, isagoo mid ka weyn oo uu ku dhaarto aan haysan, ayuu isku dhaartay,

For when God made promise to Abraham, since he could swear by none greater, he sware by himself,

14 i sagoo leh, Hubaal waan ku barakayn doonaa, oo waan ku kordhin doonaa.

saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.

15 O o sidaas isagoo u dulqaadanaya ayuu helay wixii loo ballanqaaday.

And thus, having patiently endured, he obtained the promise.

16 W aayo, dadku waxay ku dhaartaan kan iyaga ka weyn, oo waxaa muran kasta oo kooda ah ugu dambaysa dhaar si loo xaqiiqaysto,

For men swear by the greater: and in every dispute of theirs the oath is final for confirmation.

17 s idaas daraaddeed, Ilaah, isagoo aad u doonaya inuu kuwa ballanka dhaxla tuso taladiisa aan beddelmi karin, ayuu dhaar ku galay;

Wherein God, being minded to show more abundantly unto the heirs of the promise the immutability of his counsel, interposed with an oath;

18 i n laba waxyaalood, oo aan beddelmi karin, oo aan suurtoobin inuu Ilaah been ka sheego, aynu ku helno dhiirranaan xoog leh innagoo magangal u soo cararnay si aynu u qabsanno rajada ina hor taal,

that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have a strong encouragement, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us:

19 t an aynu sida barroosinka nafta u haysanno, mid adkaan iyo hubaalba ah oo gelaysa waxa daaha ka shisheeya,

which we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and stedfast and entering into that which is within the veil;

20 m eeshii Ciise sida horseed inoo galay isagoo noqday wadaad sare oo weligiis ah sidii derejadii Malkisadaq.

whither as a forerunner Jesus entered for us, having become a high priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.
